Great respect for your whole conversion , June 1964 been at work for 8 weeks , £2 - 9 shilling per week as an apprentice electrician , 1977 I am not paying that for a new house house , so off to build 5 new ones for my self , sold 3 and lived in 2 . As you could claim back or the VAT and no stamp duties on land in those days . Build 2 and get the third one free , was the saying in those days . Enjoy your house as prices have gone to the Stratosphere over the years . 👍👍
I’ve only just found your channel!!!! Oh my actual days alive!!!! This is by far the best channel for Reno I’ve ever seen. I hope your channel grows and grows. Love your energy 😊
Your renovation is unbelievable - one of the best I've seen. How did you even know what to do with building an extension? I would love to begin my own project, but wouldn't know where to begin
Hi Chris love the videos, just looking to get a steel box frame fitted, need to knock out the middle wall to open it up , would you have any video or advise on proping walls up , any help would be great 👍
Absolute madness there, great work. Just wondering did you have a temp works designer do that scaffold, the block and tackle on some cantilevered tubes looked super sus haha Also i'm guessing you got an architect/engineer on board for the permanent work - did you provide them with all dimensions and setting out yourself?

Take my hat off to you. The scale of it and the carnage to get to the other side, I couldn’t deal. So fair play to you guys 😎👍
Pure carnage😂 yeah you could if you put your mind to it📈 HSV

Love to see you boys getting stuck in. proper bit of hard graft 💪🏽👊🏽
I feel your pain, we just did a similar box frame. Well done
well done on your extension. Just wondering what did you use for thermal bridging at the steel footings and beams into the house? thanks

How many props way over the top
woah, moving steel beams on your own!
Ye wasnt fun ahah
Good job. What was the dimensions of the biggest steel? Did your structural engineer help specify how many props and where to put them?
Thoughts on Ryobi tools? Just bought a grinder and circular saw myself however not put them to work yet
Never had one fail on me. I have zero brand loyalty😂 if it works well and doesnt cost a fortune thats what I buy!
I would like to know how you learned all of this
What’s the tool you use to get the brick work out? Is it designed to only cut mortar or through brick too?
Shown at 13:24
DEWALT DT2422-QZ TCT RECIPROCATING SAW BLADE 457MM . 40£ works amazing. Cuts concrete bricks mortar the lot
Excellent work mate. What an inspiration! What’s the name of the reciprocating blade for cutting through bricks
