- Come behind the scenes with me as I take you around some Walmarts today. I scan these items using Scoutify 2 and the Amazon seller app. This tells me my profit and the sales velocity. If the numbers add up, I buy! It's as simple as that :)
If you enjoyed this sourcing video, let me know what other stores you would like to see me find profitable items at! Today I spent around $500 and I will make a NET PROFIT of $1500 once it all sells. That's pretty incredible for 1 day of work for this stay at home foster dad :)

Happy hustling! - Хобби
What’s up, so I joined the fb group and just subscribed but I wanna know, how much money do I need to start and is there a detailed step by step process on here or on the fb group that I can follow? Tired of being broke and I wanna give this a shot but no one ever gives a step by step process
Watch the hour long intro video for how we started with $100 and turned it into a 7 figure business.
Then go through the other videos and posts both here and in the group. All the info you need is here already. If you wanted to save time, we do have a super cheap beginners webinar that basically compiles all the info and gives it to you in bite sized chunks. That's over at: hustlebuddies.com/webinar
Hustle Buddies Official does the link work? I clicked but nothing happened
I know this is 8 months old. I wanna know how your doing now Ellis? Come say hi on facebook.com/groups/hustlebuddies
Also on their website there actually is a beginner's class you can take for like $20
Nobody mentioned it here yet but Amazon has a free set of videos for sellers. Teaches you how to sell on Amz. for free.
What are you using to scan
This is the most realistic Walmart clearance sourcing YT video I have seen!!! Thank you for all of the knowledge you are passing to us!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you. You give great tips that not many sellers like to share.
Great info! It will definitely help the next time I scan Walmart. Thanks. 😁
Good tip on scanning clearance in the Walmart app! We always find great stuff at great prices that way!
Definitely!!
It is so funny because yesterday I bought a bunch of those autumn mix candies to sell before even seeing this video. They are also really yummy! Thank you for all of your great videos!
Great video! This is really helpful.
I start watching all your videos . I have learned a lot . Thank you! 🙏
Wonderful!
Awesome!
DUde, I just bought that TI30XS for my daughter at Retail price on AMZN yesterday! Good job!
The dates on clearance tags give you clue as to if the price will be lower. You’re spot on with the Ryan’s World toys. Never heard anyone say “Bracks” for “Brachs” (brocks) candy. Lol 😜 good stuff, keep hustling!! But hey, I never thought about candy for FBA! Nice!!
Lol I've never met anyone who eats it, so I don't think I've heard it pronounced. Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks nate. Just checked my local cvs, all candy 50% off but best return I was seeing was maybe 50% on a couple of items, bad expiration dates (jan 2020 on many) and the keepa graphs weren't very exciting. Appreciate you sharing your tips.
did you check the 2 packs and bundles?
THANK YOU!!! I live in a tiny town, not many stores I can source from
Tiny towns are usually the best for RA. Never picked over.
Thanks for the videos.
I made bank on those Char-Griller covers. Not sure if competitive at WM but they were at Lowe's
Thanks for this! If you haven’t made one yet, a video of you sourcing @ Walgreen’s/CVS/Rite Aid would be great. PS- the wal marts that you go to have great clearance aisles! The ones near us have been paltry at best. Lol
Great idea!
Great content as always. What sticker do you put on the candy when FBA prepping?
Thank you for all your videos. We are in our 2nd month of FBA and still found your tips very helpful.
Currently we avoid selling anything that does not scan. Our issue was if we get an item with a different UPC barcode, when we list to sell, the Amazon seller app will not find it and will not allow us to list the item with existing listings that are already on Amazon.com.
Have you encounter that? If so, do you just generate your own new listing with your own photos?
Thank you!
Thanks
Hello! Thank you for your video! Are you using the amazon app to scan the barcodes and watch the sales charts?
This is a great video! I let really had not clicked for me that I need to try to search by name if the upc doesn't come up. I was going to ask, that calculator at the end, it was like not the PERFECT packaging, is that okay or will that cause an issue later? Also my walmarts need to step up their clearance game hahahaha. Thank you!!! This was awesome!!!
Yeah I'm not quite sure on the calc yet if I'll list it as like new.
If I do list it as new I will be putting it in a polybag just to make it look nicer to the end customer.
👑
how do you choose what items you FBM and which to FBA?
How do you keep candy from melting. Do you ship FMM
What application u used for compare prices
Music is annoying and loud. Would be better without. 😀 Great video though.
Thanks! I'll adjust it down in future videos :)
@@HustleBuddiesOfficial You probably figured that out on your own, when it was a bit too late to start over. Mark it up to a "good lesson leaned". ;) You might also want to invest in a closer mic ...lots of background noise and not enough of YOU noise in several of your vids. I was in radio for over a half-century (born into it...lol) ...and I always preferred the "headset with mic". That way the mic follows your mouth where ever it goes. You'd just have to practice on "positioning" the mic, to get rid of the "popping" noise. And I've never been able to beat "'Shure" products for the quality & money.
Other than that, great content (as usual) ...and that's what matters most! Thanks for all you do for us!
@@randyforrester For sure! I've tried a bunch of different headphones with my phone that all have mics built in, but I don't think they are actually working as intended when I record. I'm trying to avoid recording video and audio separate but I'm not sure what better options I have.
What is the name of the scanner, and which stores are in there?
Yes everyone please rush out and buy all the Belkin products you see. Send them in quick. They are hot items.
We've sold a number of Belkin products in the past. I wouldn't recommend it to new sellers due to IP being common. The exact ones in this video were for my personal use. I wanted to show an example of the marked price discrepancies.
@@HustleBuddiesOfficial no no I recommend everyone buy Belkin and send it in. They will totally not shut you down and slap you with an IP claim. Trust me send in those Belkin products and you too will be making 1500 dollars a day. It's so easy.
Oh there is Keepa app?
You see that pool under the juice you should of grabbed that lol
I personally don't like grabbing long tail seasonal things like pools in winter or christmas stuff in summer. I'd rather flip something once a month for 30% ROI then once per year for 200% roi. Compounding interest is king. .
Hi! When you say use, "use talk to text." How do you do that? Which app are you using? Amazong sellers app or Scoutify 2? TIA!!
Every phone has that. It's just a button. That's a better question for google
How to you send fbm or fba on candy
When you are getting clearance candy after Halloween, do you just look at the basic candy (candy corn, M&M's, etc.) or do the big mixed bags still sell well? I'm just getting started and your videos and Facebook page have been a huge help!
I look at everything. Listen to the numbers, and take your own brain out of it.
Do people really buy after holiday candy?
@@amandam5683 my thought too.
do you have a 99 cent store or dollar tree you could source from and upload video to youtube?
Yeah we have a dollar tree nearby. That was on my list to show people :)
After Halloween candy, do you hold it until next year or do people want it after Halloween now? If it's after Halloween, wouldn't you need to sell it at a discount for people to buy it? Everyone is looking for the after holiday discount, so, I'm unclear how you would make money on it.
Seasonal stuff sells year round. For example, maybe a really goth couple wants to do a halloween wedding in March. Amazon is the only place they are going to find stuff for that.
When you sell, do you somehow remove the Walmart sale tags from the items? If so, how?
Yup! Scotty peeler/heat gun/goo gone
Are clearance items considered new or used? Like the calculator at the end of the video. Sorry if it’s a dumb question.
You can check the Amazon guidelines for what you are allowed to list as new.
In general, if you buy it from a store and it's in gift condition, then you're good to go.
Hi guys, thanks for your content I received and email from you guys... What is the app that you use to do retail arbitrage???
For starting, Amazon seller app.
Once your going, we use Scoutify 2 (We've got links and videos about all of the tools we use :) )
Where do you scan your items that shown in the right off the screen?
Amazon seller app or Scoutify 2
thanx for the video bro,,, how do you deal with branded products? how would you know if its an actual brand? and most important how do you decide if that product you find at the clearance section with x price will sell good ? appreciate your answer
Watch our long intro post that me and Alysha did. It's like an hour long, but goes over all of that :)
@@HustleBuddiesOfficial is that intro on fb or here on RUclips..sorry for the question ☺☺
@@aspire081989 both
Humm i am in for 4 months and i haven't even made $2000!!
So how long after the holiday's does foods sell ... Ex. The Halloween candy you bought the day after...
It never stops. Ever.
Sold my very last few of these candy corns last month in July. They've been selling year round.
@@HustleBuddiesOfficial that's awesome...
so now you have a bunch of items. how do you sell them?
We show the whole process in our other videos on the channel. The very long "How we sold 1,000,000" is a good place to start if you're new to the process. We go over most of the basics in that video.
what app are you using to scan and look up this information? Thanks!
Scoutify 2 or just the regular Amazon seller app. We've got links to everything in our "Tools we use" video :)
But how do you use keepa if you are in store?
Like this: ruclips.net/video/bhK6zg8GgfU/видео.html
Thanks for this info. FYI, the background music is distracting and annoying.
Is that the amazon seller app that your using?
Would love to know the answer to this question.
Tried searching the Google Play but, I couldn't find any that looked like that.
Found it! On google play! I believe it's called Scoutify 2
I’m interested in hearing how you deal with returns of clothes.. I discovered your page through reddit and know that you deal with lots of bras lol, how do you go about dealing with those types of clothing returns?
Thanks!
Amazon deals with 95% of the returns. It's a very tiny percentage that's actually deemed unsellable upon return
People still want Halloween candy after Halloween?
Yup!
What app are you using to scan
I use scoutify 2 and the seller app
@@HustleBuddiesOfficial do you have to purchase these apps
Which app is this
I use scoutify 2 which is free for those who use inventory lab (which is basically everyone)
bit.ly/HustleIL
If you made $1500 per day couldn’t you afford to have someone source for you?
We do that as well. I like this part and I make more doing it myself, but we've outsourced this a number of times
Background music way too loud!
And where are the $1500 per day????
The total Net profit of everything I bought from this day sourcing at walmart was ~$1500
So sad on some of the comments. Get off of facebook everyone. facebook has changed the settings on that social media site. been off of facebook over 5 yrs. never going back on it.
We currently run the fastest growing Amazon Facebook group and the single largest for new sellers with over 40k members in about a years time. For us it's by FAR the easiest method of transmitting and sharing information as a community. It is used for it's utility and ease of use.
We all must pick our poisons.
For example, you and I both chose to use a device (computer or phone) which is made using precious metals mined by child slave labor. It doesn't bother either of us enough to stop using our devices or to encourage others to stop either. But we are both directly supporting 8 year olds to work 16 hours a day without pay.
@@HustleBuddiesOfficial My developer friend who is an apple developer has a 3 yr old, married, lives on a golf course, hasn't worked for a paycheck in 3.5 yrs, his shipping logistics software must be doing something right. Hustle is a bad word, invest is better.
@@HustleBuddiesOfficial You do know that amazon workers can get a union and walk off because of horrible treatment on the job.

Background music distracting....hard to understand....sorry
LOVE your content but really hate the music. It's loud, annoying and very distracting.
