I like to tell people to look at it as you are eliminating stuff that won’t work when you first start scanning.
At first every item in every single store near you is an option.
The more you eliminate the more your odds increase.
At first expect 20-40 hours of scanning to find enough stuff to fill a small box to send in to Amazon

I love your content and I get a lot out of it. I think a big setback for people is not having their business strategy figured out before they even begin sourcing. What is your target ROI? Is that ROI realistic for a beginner with no experience? Many products could be potential buys if you set a realistic profit margin. Everyone wants to start right away with a 700% ROI. Why not lower that to something more attainable? If you are a newbie, understand where you are starting from and be willing to put in some sweat equity. In the beginning your focus should be to prove to Amazon that you are legitimate, prove to YOURSELF that you're going to stick with this and that you're cut out for it, while at the same time getting customer feedback, building momentum and increasing sales at ANY profit margin you can get. Many things are working together to move you forward but it requires time and reasonable expectations.

I have a predicament and I was wondering if you could share your advice on what I should do. I’m 17 turning 18 in December and would like to start my Amazon business as soon as I turn 18. Another RUclips mentor mentioned that I should not use a fresh of the press LLC since it would cause major delays when registering to start the amazon business. Should I start my amazon business as an individual and add the LLC 30 days after registration? I am hesitant to do that because another mentor’s video said that when a new seller changes information or documents within the first few months it can make amazon review your account and put you on pause for some period of time. Please share what you would do in this situation. Thank you for all the great videos you’ve been helping my one year research plan substantially.

Okay, this is probably a dumb question, but I have to ask...when you do retail arbitrage on Amazon, are you going off of someone else's listing or are you making your own for each product you upload? And if you are going off of the listings for the products you find that are already showing on Amazon, what about listings that are showing with no sellers? Thank you for your videos they are really informative.

How do i get approval for an item

      Click "Apply"
Many things are restricted for new sellers... but not everything. 70% of what I sell is unrestricted for everyone. Keep scanning and you'll find it.

I can't find deals which give me like 50%+ in profit (before FBA costs)

As long as the items sell fast enough, 50% is fine. Imagine any other investment that could give you 50% ROI in a month.

Actually there is a setting that you can change to have all your items go to one amazon warehouse. But there is a small charge for that.

@@thomascalderon2386 inventory placement only affects items of the same sku. Preferred placement is another program, but it's by invite only and is for larger sellers.

I disagree with one thing you said. Just because you are gated to sell a certain product today don't mean you wont be able to sell it tomorrow. I scan and ask for approval on stuff all the time. That's how I got ungated in products like Nerf, Hot Wheels and all kinds of other products. Never stop asking for approval.
