1. Check the rank
2. Check if it has ratings not too low and not too high is good ratings
3. check if it is a good profit and if it’ll sell
4.check the settings and change the merchant/seller fulfilled to Amazon fulfilled and set Amazon shipping charges in settings to 0.50$ per pound.
5. Check keepa for the rank history of items

How do you determine what a good sales rank is. Like you said a rank of 200,000 is good for books but maybe not so good for grocery or maybe it is. How can one determine what a good sales rank is for each category? Thank you for the great videos, they are very helpful.
Use Keepa for everything. Over time you have enough experience to make educated guesses, but use Keepa as much as possible
I am in retail arbitrage for almost 4 months and i bought a very bad inventory. I only looked at sales rank and profit. Items i bought sell once in awhile lol. Hopefully i can get rid of it soon and use your tips to buy a new one

Good to hear! :-) I thought I heard (or read) somewhere that the cell app didn't work as well as the computer version, or that the cell app was glitchy. I've done so much research that I haven't really retained this info. As soon as I get Ungated I'm gonna get the paid version of Keepa. Anything to help me make the most informed decision when I'm out sourcing is very much needed!
hi, as a newby i'm not able to get keepa just yet, so as i look at sales rank, how is it helpful if the charts are useless, and i don't know what a good sales rank is for that category or category within another category? obviously i'd be looking at reviews and stuff you said as well. thank you for all these video, they are HUGE contributor to my motivation in moving forward with this! :)
There are a LOT of problems with using a chart... but if you're a beginner with no capitol, you don't have many options. Maybe you can find a friend who's just starting to split keepa with.
