Great content. I’ve been doing Amazon RA for 3 years now. Hitting my first 100k month. This really works but like anything it requires work.
Yes i agree its definitely work. Congrats in your 100k!
I've been watching a ton of videos about getting started and for beginners and this one has been the most helpful and informative I thank you I need to get this started
I would love to see a video about how to start up an Amazon account to sell and how to store the items and how to ship them.
Great idea this is for sure going on my list!!
Seriously. That's what it says on the description on the videos but never actually show you how to do it. I'm starting to believe it's just a marketing strategy to bring people in.
@@Venusfruit44 You got it! Plus unless your grandfathered doing amazon you'll be restricted anyways.
You and the bearded picker are my online mentors man ! I appreciate the helpful content!
Aaron your welcome man!!!! Much appreciated you got this!
You are a blessing to people most others would never show us there secrets behind the Curtain of fba thank you
Joseph your welcome !!
Out of all the videos I've watched thus far this one has been the most helpful. I like the way you organized it and all the tips provided. Thank you!
Thanks i appreciate that! Im so glad you found it helpful!
Thank you for actually helping me with this !!! So many people don’t help but you’ve helped a lot !
Thanks Shadeh!!! I always try to help as much as possible
Its almost 1 a.m. time to get some sleep. See that Shane uploaded a new video. Who needs sleep! Love all the great info man!
J thanks so much man!!!
This is a very informative video for those people who sell on amazon or wanting to start selling on amazon.
Thanks John!!! You da man!
this is one of the most helpful videos ive seen so far.......and ive seen many. Keep up the good work and thank you
Thanks so much Rachel!!!
Thank you so much for making this video! You're awesome!
Glad you brought it up. Brickseek doesnt show all the great deals. My walmarts have had these items in the back. After I go in and buy some, they take them and put them back in the back. It's crazy, but I've been able to slow roll them since nobody knows about them and I have scaled up to almost 3k in sales. Great video as always. I wouldn't be where I am right now with this business if not for you and the bearded one!!!
Thanks Johny keep on hustling !!! It happens proud of you that you keep striving on!
Freestyling is where it’s at! Another awesome video man!
Thanks my man!!! Much appreciate bro!
Awesome video! Love the little details and tricks throughout the video!
Thank you so much!!!
I think I love you...I learned so much from you please never stop teaching thanks
Awwwww thanks Carol your the best!!!
Great info, I'm concentrating on eBay at the moment but will eventually branch out into Amazon. At least that is my plan. lol
Great video Shane! Keep up the great work. :)
Thank you so much !!
I've never seen Walmart clearance so neat before lol
Lol haha
I live in an area where there are tons of clearance stores and Walmart's. I set up my account and I am going to jump in. I have friends that were giving negative feedback. I have been watching these Vids of you and the Bearded guy and I like the bevy of info you guys are willing to share. So I am not listening to the negative feedback and GRIND ON!!!!!
Sarah that's awesome yes Grind on!! Hit up those stores!!
By far the most helpful FBA video I've seen
Thank you
You are the man. Thank you very much for your time and knowledge.
Mott thank you ....you are amazing !!
Very helpful! Thanks for all of the great advice.
Thanks Cari!
Good stuff Shane! Thanks for info!
Thanks so much!!! I appreciate it greatly!
Best video on retail arbitrage I've seen. Subbed
Thank you!! I appreciate that
I have been watching your videos for a few weeks. You got me off the fence! I ordered a dymo, signed up for Pro Amazon, and the trial of Inventory Lab/Scoutify. I am jumping in! Thank you for your help :)
Rhonda great job!!! That's amazing!
@@RiseNGrindPicker Well I practiced sourcing at Target, WM, and Office Depot. I found just 1 thing I was ungated on for FBA :( Found some clearance at Target with coupons! and some toys at WM that will go on Ebay. All in all a really good practice day.
Very good !! Hey you have to sell what your not gated in!
i just wanted to mention that you can just click on the item details and copy and paste that into the website to try to get ungated also you can also use the function on the that allows you to scan the items image and it can find it sometimes. great job again. i need to be able to hustle like you no excuses!
Great tips!
Thank you!!! You explained everything so well.
I appreciate that!
That has got to be the cleanest walmart in the world!
you are one of the good ones, thanks
Thank you very much!
Love your wall paper!
Thank you!
Yo that filter when he walked out of Walmart was so dope!
Thanks!
Another great video!! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much Melodee!!
Congratz on 13 K subs!
Thanks again for sharing great content! 💜
Tiffany thanks so much your amazing ❤❤
So much clearance! LOL. I am just outside of L.A. and pretty sure there are some big pickers here in my area because II it hits the shelves it seems to fly. I was talking to my Walgreens manager and he said at midnight when Christmas went 90% off there was a woman waiting outside the door and bought it all up. I got rid of brickseek because the inventories were always off , but I've been pretty lucky on the end caps, especially at Target.
Nice!!! That's awesome !!!
Awesome video thanks for sharing! 👍🏾
Thanks!!
Awesome video, thanks!!
Your welcome thank you very much!!🙌
You make it look so easy!
Linda lots of experience!! You will get it!! Just keep trying !
Shane when you apply to get ungated in the store... after scanning item and seeing youre restricted, from that screen you can tap the title of the item in your amazon seller app and it takes you to a description page that includes the ASIN and its easy from there to copy and paste it on to the amazon add a product page to bring up the item to apply for ungating. easier than typing in the UPC
Mark definately will try that !
Does it hurt your chances to apply for ungating if you just started (haven’t made a sale yet) but you have the product and order invoices ?
Such a helpful video!
Thank you!
A quick trick so you don't constantly type in the UPC. When in the seller app you can sometimes copy the Amazon ASIN from the description in the listing. Then you can just paste that in the search bar when you go to the page to add an item.
TY man, great 101 video
Thank you!!
Thank you Shane. You have some great buys there, I appreciate you taking us along and showing us the strings! Great video. ⭐👍👍👊👊👆
Lynn thanks so much!!
Thank you. It was nice to have a concise video on this.
Welcome Wendy!!
@@RiseNGrindPicker I've been watching for about two weeks (binge watching you and The Bearded Picker) . You guys are taking the intimidation out of FBA a bit for me. Thank you for spending your time helping others.
Wendy your welcome thanks so much!!
A trick I learned looking threw books using the amazon seller app is that if it don’t scan in or they have a sticker over the upc you can scan the front and it will search the pictures to find it before you have to try and type it all in
Yes!! Great tip!
Thank you for sharing 👍
THANKS A LOT. ITS HELP A LOT.
Glad this helped!
Thanks Shane!!! Whenever you are doing your videos, I always feel that you are speaking directly to me! It's a talent LOL. Looking at the costs on those packing supplies, I'm so happy I dumpster dive for mine!!! Requesting a video for book sourcing for FBA! Also, another request for when to do Merch vs FBA #MakeThatMoney #FreedomToDream #1RNGFanGirl
That's awesome Marcy thank you so much!!! Yes those are awesome requests!!
This video was very useful. Thanks
Your welcome, i appreciate that thanks for watching!
Btw wanted to let you know that when you do research on an item on Scoutify there’s a check amazon restriction option and it’s a lot faster that way!
Huy that's a great tip!
great channel! subscribed!
Thanks kevin much appreciated!
asked a shipping question on another vid but Ok NVM this vid answered my question.
Great videos!
Thank you so much for watching your awesome !!
Nice bro jony from Spain 🇪🇸 love it
Thanks Jony!!!!! Greetings!
Can you do a follow up video on what you do next from the time you walk those bags into your home? Do you enter what you bought in a spreadsheet? Do you package them up right away? How do you send them?
Yes I can so that!!
@@RiseNGrindPicker Thank !
great video great info thanks
Thanks my friend !!
Great tips, I’ll be using some of these!
James that's awesome thank you man!!
Just have a quick question what if the items doesn’t sell ?
Then you recall it or have amazon donate or destroy it
The cartoon effect looks awesome 😁
Phil thanks so much!
Very informative video thank you can’t wait to sign up for your and bearded pickers eBay class 😁
That's awesome Laura !!!
How do you sign up for the class and when is it? I am very interested.
We are building the amazon and Ebay course now !! We are shooting for end of February!
You can also try to get uncared through the Scoutify 2 app - you scan the barcode, click on research, and then click on Amazon restriction - when you click on that it will bring you to the Amazon website and you follow the request approval directions in your video.
Good tip!!
Thanks for the tip on boxing.I am helping a friend set up her FBA business, and we are sending 8 boxes at time. But I was put off from doing it myself, as I could not see how it would be possible to just send a box or two. I don’t have room to put too many boxes in my house at one time.
Your welcome !!! Yes send those things in and get them sold!!
Thanks for sharing
Hi I work at an FBA type warehouse and we don’t actually damage out products unless the packaging is ripped or cannot be closed! Idk if it’s different standards for you as a seller but for sure inside they don’t really care about small imperfections like the ones you were showing :)
Nice good to know Irma
Man, that was a great intro into arbitrage. You seem like you teach a college course on the subject, I've always done some on/off flipping on craigslist/flea markets/garage sales occasional thrift store so I feel like I kinda know the basic formula of finding an under valued item but you've seemingly have got it down to a science with being able to use the apps to pin it down too the percent. What would be some recommendations for other stores besides walmart?
So i also like target, all your big box stores but i like to look for stores that are also specific to my area. Thanks!!
Great feedback thank you
Welcome! Hope its useful!
Nice finds!
Thank you!!!!
Thank you!
Amazing.Thank you
Your welcome thank you!
Like to see the POV out in the field.
Hello
You did a fine job💪
Thanks so much love the amazing comment !!
Awesome video.
Appreciate it Larry!!!
Shane, can you do video or send me a snap shot of your shipping preferences for merchant fulfilled? All the RUclips videos are old. New to starting Amazon and following your advice to list some items until I learn and find more products to send in. Thanks
Great video idea I will work on this good idea!
Thank you for posting this - great stuff. Prior to shipping to to Amazon FBA - are you required by Amazon to put labels on them?
How would Amazon know those are you products - do you have to include a label that identifies these are your product?
so I don't know about else where but in CA Walmart restructured their stores so that there is no clearance aisle there is only clearance sections in each department.
Does your go pro have settings for liner mode? To help with rounding of the video. Love the vids keep up the good work.
I am not sure I will check it out! Thanks for the tip !
wonderful video
Thanks Jane!!
Thanks for doing this! Are there any good communities (e.g. reddit, discord) you recommend to engage with other folks doing retail arbitrage? What I'm still fuzzy on is a lot of the business-related things I will need. You mentioned Inventory Lab, for example, that I'll need down the road. What about mileage trackers or other tools like Quickbooks to track expenses for tax time? Is there a postage scale you recommend (add to your Amazon list above)?
I don't know of any on there on Facebook I'm part of a group called retail arbitraged masters great group
This video was made a year ago so hope you are doing well as of today. I thought you was great teacher , sincere and kind . Can you please tell me the three important things again . Is it hard to start the amazing account? Thank you and hope to hear from you soon of course when you have a free moment

I am looking into this business, but what I do not understand is when sourcing, uploading to Amazon, cost of shipping supplies and shipping time and cost, length of time before it sells, storage fees, returns etc..do you calculate that into your profit calculations? Like sourcing for example When I look at business I look at myself as an employee of the business and if I paid an employee minimum wage which I think is anywhere from $7 to $10 bucks an hour I would guess, to do this work or even the uploading, shipping etc.. what would that do to your profits? What I am seeing is it is looking like someone who buys a fast food franchise thinking they are gonna make money, but finding out they bought themselves a low paying full time job. I noticed this exact scenario when visiting my local Papa Murphys pizza franchise, and this older couple bought this as part of their retirement planning and every time I go in there they are working behind the counter. Not being negative here, appreciate the time and info you out into sharing, I am just trying to understand the whole game before deciding to go down this path. Thanks and happy selling!
i think you should be first scanning it with the walmart ap .......because 9 out 10.......the price that you pay for it is lower than the actual label....so you could be passing up deals by not using the walmart ap first
Thank you ☺️
Welcome!! Hope it helped!
When you are just starting out besides the Amazon scanner what other apps or programs do you think are absolutely needed?? Thanks
I like how you have daymond john as your screen saver thats awesome, have you taken any of his courses/ classes?
I love him!! I have not but want to!
So given the fact that amazon fba charges per cubic feet to store your products in there warehouse per month what are your usual fees a month?
This could possibly be another Dollar Tree video Shane. This was good and this was quality you know why? Because you were you man just Shane being Shane! I love it you mark my words this video is going to do well brother~!
Thank you 😊
Your welcome 😁
TFS. I'm sure you know this but Amazon's ap does recognize items that don't come up with the UPC code. Just aim the camera at the front of the item. This is not 100% but it works a good portion of the time for me. Would you consider doing a how to video on shipping your fba items to Amazon? Great content.
I'd be interested in watching the video as well.
I want to try this but 2 things discourage me.
1. How do I really start? Just sign up and then I have to ship things to amazon? Where and how do they store it, list it and know what’s mine?
2. How do you do taxes? I hear you may have to pay multiple state taxes depending on where your items are stored by amazon.
This sounds great, but also sounds like a headache. And I really don’t wanna lose money or get the IRS on my back
Thanks for the vids
First start is signing up for a seller account! Yes ! Taxes are similar to Ebay
OMG I did NOT know you could do that on the ebay app - my world just blew open thanks so much for showing that
Kathy your welcome !!!
When you referred to “apply through the website”, just which website are you referring to?
Since you go by rankings by 10% or lower does that also signify how quickly the inventory will go? Do you assume 10% or under sells by about one month?
Yes it does it means its top trending
Question, after you buy the packaging...does that destroy the profit. Seemed expensive. Also, do u send all that product in one box or do you have to send different items in sperate boxes? TIA
Great content as usual 👍
Thank you!!
Shane, copy the ASIN from the seller app and paste in website. Faster than typing upc.
Yes sometimes I do that haha idk why I didnt this time lol
Probably the only way you are going to find something in walmart. Finding something on Brickseek for walmart is a crap shoot. Brickseek is golden for lowes because you can just view the item on store then buy it. They will send you an email when the order is ready which takes about 15 minutes or so then just go pick it up.
Yes but walmart doesn't do that with alot of clearance items
Thanks for this informative video! So, all said and done including gas, your time, shipping supplies and such... what did you profit? And what's your profit/hour? It doesn't seem like much for all that work, especially when you say you don't always find anything, and then after paying taxes. Thanks!
With amazon its more about volume. I honestly cant remember this vid was a good while ago!
Well done, those boxes only had a slight dent can u really not sell as new? I can find imperfections on just about all packaging. Also can u touch on repricing and how u handle that at some point. And lastly did u sell any of those clam shell slinky's cause I searched Amazon for those and it was very difficult to find that listing and other Slinky options were much cheaper.. curious how u did with those.
They had dented corners as well I usually will out a label over the dent but on the corners you cant fix those
Great simple video. Quick question as I am going to be starting my business soon, just ordered my barcode printer! Do you have to start a LLC before starting this business? Does Amazon send you a 1099 for taxes? Or is all tax just taken by amazon up front so nothing is owed to the government? My wife and I were very curious about this! Thanks so much for all the videos. Learning a LOT!
I am a sole proprietor they 1099 just like Ebay 200 transactions and 20k in sales!! Hope this helps!!
@@RiseNGrindPicker That helps BIG TIME!! Thank you so much!!!!!
Welcome !!
Do you use a body holster + gopro for filming this? We're looking to up our in store recording set up for FBA content creation and curious what others in our niche do :)
I use a gopro 8 it has stability built in
