I've owned the Nuobells for over a year now and haven't had problems yet. I was concerned with the amount of plastic but its held up fine so far. Can't wait to see this type of design come in high quality, fully stainless, machined variations. It's been wonderful having a full rack of dumbbells occupy a 2ft square footprint.
