I am a bit behind but just order Gen 4 Trulaps. Super excited with the pound increments they added. the 8lbs doesn't bother me at all. Just wanted good size that goes heavy. Wife finally started working out and was enough to finally convincer her we needed the adjustable dumbbells. I also really like aggressive knurling.
Mine came in over the weekend. They are amazing. Love how easy it was to put together. Only two thing I didn’t realize is that they 3.5lb increments which is even more amazing and that the handles are a bit bigger so my forearm grip needs some work lol.
Tbh, it's weird jumps in KGs too as it still goes up in 1.5s so you often get odd numbers "4 - 5.5 - 7 - 8.5 - 10 - 11.5 - 13.- 14.5 - 16 - 17.5 - 19 - 20.5 - 22- 23.5 - 25 - 26.5 - 27- 28.5 - 30 - 31.5 - 33 - 34.5 - 36 - 37.5 - 39 - 41.5" - just going up in 2's would be easier for my OCDish mind lol... but mehhhh... maybe the more increments the better 🤔 and yer the numbers are even more random in Lbs
I have the Trulap dumbbells. They don’t get caught when putting them back in place. That’s interesting that your Trulap kept getting caught every time. Maybe the base is defective and not holding the seated weights in place
I had Nüobell but I sold it and bought Trulap but in another country and under a different name. I also have ironmaster dumbbells.I use these trulaps most often
Love the review! Only complaint, please mention Kilos next to the pound metric system! Nobody does. Would seperate you from every other youtuber in a simple way (And majority of the world simply uses a different metric system!) People all over the world have amazon etc. We CAN buy american products most of the time without any issue. Sorry seems like a complaint now! But i did love your review
I just ordered the Nuobells with stand. Can’t wait. I’m not into bodybuilding or powerlifting. My goal just to be fit, gain lean mass and overall be healthy. And I like the 5lb increment adjustments better.
The biggest concern is have is the durability given the Nuobells rely heavily on plastic pieces…given these are $700+ investments, the risk of breaking one because of a small drop makes me want to stay away. Otherwise I’d pick the Nuobells easily

I just received mine about a month ago. They are great!

@@J-Goy1813 I like the fact that it shows both LBS/KG on the dumbbells. Enjoy!
Gen 4 now availble
That loading increment is originally in kg so in lbs it looks weird jumps.
Thanks for explaining the host 😊

i just asked for a new base so hopefully that won't be an issue
just swap the places of the weight plates
It could be the difference in model generation. They are now selling their Gen 4 so perfects they have improved that area over time.

what is the name in your country for the trulaps?
Interested as well, trying to get hold of these in Europe

Now that I've had both for a long time. I pick Trulap every day. I gave the nuobells to my wife
And you told her they were better didn't you!?

@@thebarbellphysio Has she worked her way up to the 5lb level yet?
Are those the new gen 2 version of the Trulap ?
They are not! Excited to see what they updated from an already great product
