We certainly did smile Mattie 😀
when people say "everything happens for a reason", I believe its applicable here. if he thinks gravity is negatively constructed, maybe its the reason why there is a new album made. but personally, i think all bfmv songs are great! Thank you BFMV! 🤟
8:40 that’s amazing. After all these years they still have new ideas and never got stagnant despite releasing an album every 2-3 years for the past decade and a half. I’ll never forget when Kerry King said paraphrasing; “it’s easy to come out with your first album because you have your whole life to think about it and get it together. It’s the albums after that show what your really made of.” Rock on Bullet!
Cool to hear from Matt BFMV update 2022
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 get well soon Matt
I love your username haha.
Thank-you for never disappointg Bullet For My valentine
Great interview! I'll be waiting for that "crazy new EP"!!
Matt and Max❤❤ awww so cuteeee❤
Brilliant interview!
Album slaps hard, every single track is great.
Love the band, the new album end gravity is my favorite album.🖤❤🖤❤
It reminds me of burn my eyes by machine Head in terms of heaviness. Great album
I actually loved Gravity, I know it was Matts album, he was venting, he was using his platform to get his shit out, as he said around the 25 min mark, similar to how Chester did with latest Linkin Park, luckily we still have Matt.
New album is great! Also, gravity is underrated, not sure why it was so poorly received
Gravity is amazing. Overall one of my favorite albums of theirs
It's my second favorite album by them, right behind the poison. New album probably falls in third
Gravity was decent, Temper Temper was the album I cannot stand
1. The Poison
2. BFMV (2021)
3. Scream aim fire
4. Gravity
5. Fever
6. Venom
7. Temper Temper
@@decemberflower3990 I'd put fever higher, agreed on the rest tho
I like his living room (looks like the living room). Interesting choice of wallpaper, cute picture on the right as well really wholesome. Wished my (I think) living room was that nice 😭😭😭
On a more music based focus, Gravity for me was a bit of a letdown, the two standout tracks on that record were Don't Need You and Breathe Underwater, the others I just couldn't connect to as a fan.
And I can listen to any material of their other opuses even the much maligned Temper Temper - hell Dead To The World is one of my go-to B4MV songs but Gravity felt like they had somewhat lost their way. That being said, respect to Matt for keeping true to himself as an artist.
I love leap of faith and crawling. Over it and gravity are pretty good also.

Just found this comment lol anyway I've given Gravity a second chance which I'll admit I didn't do the first time round and actually found I quite like the record and find it pretty consistent plus well executed.
Rich people always have those little dogs. Meanwhile I sleep with a Great Dane
Okay you lost me when you said the thing about gravity being poppy in sound.. it's so far from being a pop album. A pop album would be something more like amo by bmth. There are plenty of good guitar riffs and breakdowns in gravity. Kinda disrespectful to Matt saying that imo 🤷🏻♂️
Even amo is not a pop album. It is definitely rock with pop influences, and relative to their earlier work it is much softer. But that does not make it pop. Going softer is not pop
But i do agree that it is very disrespectful of the interviewer , especially if you consider the probable reason why he says that. In the metal world, everything that is not metal is called pop. That's so sad because metal artists have less incentive to experiment and take metal to the next level.
