@justmalcom8173 tip: if you wait 3 days and you have at least 5 items in the vending machine, it sometimes does a visual glitch that says they haven't sold. Keep pressing the triangle on the vending machine until they work.
@@ItsCatmanjoe I realized why. I had to click on the doors back out an back in an ever since is been whenever rekt restocks every three days lolx. I have put the doors in on restock day an its sold like that as soon as I dropped them in, but not always. Thank you!
I can confirm that this STILL works on PS5 as of the 18th of September.. I will answer some questions. Yes, you can move around biomes and loot up whilst waiting for your dukes to come in. You MUST wait 72 in-game hours once listing the door's before going back into the vending.. example: It's Day 6 : 14:00 you wait until Day 9 : 14:00 It works in all trader locations! If you have issue's i will answer 😅

So, trying this on series s, nearly at the 3 day mark, i watched this video a few days back and replicated off memory... I did everything the same, except i did 100 double wood doors. Will let you know the results soon. Edit: Definitely works. Keep up the great work

i tried this in a game and it did not work, when i took the items out of the trader after 10 days the door's disappeared, i will try it again , but dont have my hopes up !
There doesn't seem to be any consistency to this. I've seen it work 2 days straight and then not again for in game weeks. I assumed selling at the trader via the vending machine was just part of the game and you couldn't sell everything because you got a much better price so TFPs limited it. Now with the inconsistency of it working for even 1 or 2 items I'm guessing it's just a glitch. When it does work you do need to have 5 items with the inflated price so only the normal priced item would sell but good luck lol
Yeah it's essential for the glitch to work that you always have five "junk" items in the machine with there prices increased. For this tutorial I just used five Stone Spears & would recommend others do the same as they are super cheap & I increased the prices by 20% but if the glitch is a little too inconsistent I'd heavily recommend checking out & trying some of my other duplication glitches as they are more consistent, especially the latest one. :)

Sometimes it can be weird & you might have to wait an extra day or open & close then open again the Vending Machine to see the items are sold
I've had this glitch work after 3 days and I've had it work literally right after I put my items in the machine, closed the machine and reopened it. That was 1.0 and I've yet to get it to work in 1.1. Is there confirmation it's working in 1.1?
I mean, if were doing glitches, why not just do the vehicle inventory dupe? This seems slower and less profitable, since you're only getting money and not resources and ammo as well
@@ioves3365 it's probably still working then, and if you just want a quick way to get a head start it's the best and fastest way. I like to use it to dupe vehicle books, so I go straight from bicycle to 4x4 and gyro pretty much immediately

Strange, did you increase the sell price by 20% for the Stone Spears? Also sometimes you have to wait an extra day but it should have the Doors sold after three days.

Selling items in the rentable Vending machines is a feature but being able to sell Wooden doors is a glitch/oversight as you aren't supposed to be able to. XD
It could be iron, I don't see why or how that would negatively affect the glitch but I'd recommend just making stone as they are cheaper & definitely work!
How does this work? I mean, who buys the doors? Is that the exploit? I thought renting those and putting things up for sale was only to sell to other players in multiplayer? Does the game always just buy whatever you put up for sale even in single player when there's clearly nobody to buy your stuff?
The "Trader" buys them technically but it's just the game itself. Selling items with the rentable Vending Machines is not a glitch as it's been a long standing feature but selling the Wooden Doors is a glitch/oversight as you aren't able to sell them to Traders so shouldn't be able to sell them in the Vending Machines. The machines are able to be used to sell items to players in multiplayer but the items also (after a certain amount of time) do get sold to the game itself. :)
fixed in new experimental, not stable version. Give them some more weeks to release it to stable on all platforms and finally, no more money for wood doors.
@@GhostSot to get achievements, although there is a much better dupe glitch that doesn't require getting 5k wood first and also doesn't disable achievements
On console we can't change our worlds to creative yet so this is why console players would use this plus some people want to still be able to earn Achievements haha
That's not really how these things work, yeah the developers will find out about the glitch perhaps easier from my video or others but people would still report the glitch to The Fun Pimps so they'd patch it either way. If that is what they are focusing on, which at the moment doesn't seem to be the case haha
this glitch has been in the game since the trader vending machines were introduced the way the system works kinda makes it hard to patch out, the only difference now is you can't use stacks of material now it has to be a crafted item now not just base materials
I think this video will start a chain reaction, lol. Other creators will see this and make videos about it because its so good/commentors who have seen this will comment on other glitch videos, and they will see that. I don't know if the fun pimps pay attention to youtube, but they might
On console we don't currently have access to the Command Console so we can't just change our survival worlds to creative. Plus some people just want a little boost & still want to earn achievements haha
If people want to use glitches in a single player world or a multiplayer world where it's allowed I don't see that as them being "trash" they just want to enjoy the game more & if that's what helps them achieve that then I don't think there is a problem haha.

Sadly no, it only works for the rentable vending machines at the Trader locations
This is now patched you can still use the dukes to brass method. King size beds bike and car parts also sell for a lot

I believe it does, the longer you survive (day wise) the higher your game stage will be

It can be on any of the rentable vending machines from my experience, it just won't work if you use vending machines at your base or anything haha

Yeah! You can do Wooden doors, hatches, double doors & something else but I forget haha. They all cost the same but I just choose Wooden doors! :)

You can use normal doors or double & it's the same but you must have done something wrong then as it for sure work!

why are you using glitches in a singleplayer game, just spawn them in at this point...
If they're playing single player let them do whatever, only pipe up if it's multiplayer or coop
Some people go for achievements like myself and it does really help getting better equipment early on in the game
