How dare you give my secrets away! lol I've been doing this for years, but not using the vendos. And also max out the Scavenger skill tree under Perception. Those all make a huge difference in the amount of resources you'll harvest. And, of course, get the best harvesting tool as well. A question: Have you tried using multiple vending machines? Do you sell more?
You can only rent 1 vending machine at a time. The game prevents you from renting more so having friends that play with you is far more effective! I also found out Super Corn is a massive money maker in the vending machine. 125 Super Corn stack equals 25k duke's in the vending machine!
No it does not, those are Player Vending Machines and those are for when you play on a server and want to sell those items to other Players! This method sells it to an invisible NPC in the game.
I’m so confused, why not just sell to the trader directly? Can’t you sell up to 3 stacks of one item per day? That’s way faster than 1 stack every 3 days
@overlord-6644 the reason to use this method is because you get a ton more duke's from the trading machine vs the trader. If done right you can make more duke's in the long run, trader has a limit on how much you can sell to them per day like the vending machine but if you stack certain items right you'll get more.
@@overlord-6644 It depends on what you're doing. Super corn takes time to grow and if someone doesn't have access to super corn this is a good alternative.
Besides what everyone else was saying, you can't sell 3 stacks per day, you can sell three stacks every time the trader restocks - which is every 3 days. I've been doing this for years, but just selling straight to the trader - for around 200k per week. I've never a single item sell in those trader vendos. I guess I wasn't putting enough 'stock' into them.
Supercorn is thr best way to make money for me. Build some farm plot blocks and get the live off the land perks. I can make 20k pretty much every time i go to a trader

I thought this was just a multiplayer convenience thing, I didn't know the game bought stuff. Why is the profit so much more than what direct sales to the trader are? Is it just 1 item sold every 3 days? It's BS that the trader sells a grill for 600 but only buys one for 20, which is why I just never traded.
Trader selling stuff for expensive prices is to force players to do missions and explore. The vending machine will buy 1 or 2 items depending on some random variable that I don't fully understand. I don't know why the profit is higher in the vending machines.
Yep! I'm playing on a dedicated server that has zero cheating and it works! Sometimes, the sell days may or may not take long but items will eventually sell.
100 duct tape for a stack of 50 bicycle handlebars? No thank you! I'd rather do minibike handlebars. As a dedicated scrapper I have no problem obtaining electrical parts and headlights. Iron pipes can be forged. But the duct tape is a lot more precious to me. Another thing I've found, if you have a lot of cloth you can craft king size beds. They require cotton, springs, pipes and shit ton of cloth but they sell for around 90k for a stack of 50. Cloth is very valuable in 1.0 update but sometimes I have too much of it so I put it to good use. I can only imagine how much a stack of beds would cost in the vending machine...
You can also watch my other 2 videos. I did a Super Corn method for people who would rather use that but it's only 25k dukes and I did a would door method which can give 125k dukes! Here's the video: ruclips.net/video/DOtLFH96ls8/видео.htmlsi=7uXUQHgb89K03Sdq

This shit is so stupid. You're taking advantage of an exploit. Just turn the damn creative menu on and spawn the Dukes and save yourselves some time. Or is the creative menu where people draw some moral high horse line?
It's not really an exploit. It's a hell of a lot faster to just sell crap directly to the trader. The vending machines are just a passive income since it takes so long to sell anything vs selling directly to a trader. The only reason it gives prices to things the trader normally wouldn't buy is because you cant instantly sell a whole stack at once. @@xenosquirrel it's absolutely an exploit. It's something left or put in the game by TFP, who are extremely dimwitted. And since you know it and take advantage of it, it's an exploit. And if you're going to use exploits, just use the damn creative menu.
What an intelligent comment, and so well stated. Let's see - perhaps because (a) it's a mechanic of the game and not an exploit and (b) the creative menu is actually cheating. Next time why not say something intelligent without sounding like a high school child who just learned they could swear without mommy spanking them?
What a busted mechanic in the game. Its quite demeaning to those that really grind it through survival mode, and for that immersion of surviving without cheats. And its demeaning in a similairity as say you hiked up a big ass mountain that took days and when you get to base up top some people flew by helicopter. Its deameans your hike a bit. I understand. For all we know, this mechanic could be either toned down or taken out completely before the story mode releases next year, and we get that true experience we all yearn for with 7 Days. That being said the vending machines still require a lot of work to make a ton of duke's but it can be exploited very easily if done right.

I'd also like to point out that if someone wants to do this, they get the best Scavenger armor they can, and use the hacker candy while harvesting cars.
125 Super Corn stack equals 25k duke's in the vending machine!
thanks!
No problem!
Does this work for player vending machines you buy from the trader? Or are they literally just for multiplayer selling?
No it does not, those are Player Vending Machines and those are for when you play on a server and want to sell those items to other Players! This method sells it to an invisible NPC in the game.
@@xenosquirrel Cheers for the info.
So craft a bunch of Vehicle parts and profit?
Pretty much!
Do it works in singlenplayer?
Just restarted the game on console after few years.
Yes, this can work on both Single player and Multiplayer!
Does this only work with rect, or does any trader work?
Any trader
I’m so confused, why not just sell to the trader directly? Can’t you sell up to 3 stacks of one item per day? That’s way faster than 1 stack every 3 days
@overlord-6644 the reason to use this method is because you get a ton more duke's from the trading machine vs the trader. If done right you can make more duke's in the long run, trader has a limit on how much you can sell to them per day like the vending machine but if you stack certain items right you'll get more.
@@xenosquirrel oh I see… atm I have just been selling stacks of super corn for 5000 a pop but this might be better then
@@overlord-6644 It depends on what you're doing.
That is a very good method

I have waaaay more mechanical parts than leather. Any way to farm it?
You can put points in hunter to get more from animals. You can also get it from the brown looking "leather" furniture, diner stools, sometimes from cars when salvaging and the best way is to pick up and scrap office chairs.

@@Ori0448 Yes the double door method works and if you can manage to get 500 wood doors, it can sell for a 125k Dukes

Very nice
I just farm super corn. I have 50 plots for now but I plan to go to 100 after next harvest.

I don't know why the profit is higher in the vending machines.
does this work in multiplayer?
Yep! I'm playing on a dedicated server that has zero cheating and it works! Sometimes, the sell days may or may not take long but items will eventually sell.
Good info but I would rather just quest and loot. I definitely give it a try though.
So what if you increase the price of items, will they still buy?
The invisible NPC won't buy anything if the price is increased. Default prices are the best way to go.

@kimberlygrace3866 end of the year based on the road map the devs put out!

It's not a glitch. You act like you should play games and not use the games mechanics to your advantage. In your logic, why play the game at all? Some people play in a way to maximize benefits, and that is not a glitch or cheating. He isn't doing anything at all thats not allowed, this feature is LITERALLY part of the game.
@oldnewbgaming it's an in-game mechanic and this method is not a glitch. This method used to be FAR more broken and they balanced it to not be, it requires a bit of work to make that many duke's, the video just demonstrates how to efficiently do it.

@@0wl999 I know this as I used to do the same in previous alphas. However the rewards are so bad now , a single skill book , 5 glue etc getting two of those are pretty mediocre at best. Or you could play the game your own way and let others do the same.
It's only seems like an exploit because he is demonstrating with developer mode
It's literally not an exploit, he is only using the creative menu to demonstrate how you can earn duke's quickly in a regular game.
People are doing the Super Corn method which is the same "exploit". Its not exploiting, it's using everything the game gives you.
@@xenosquirrel it's absolutely an exploit. It's something left or put in the game by TFP, who are extremely dimwitted. Instead of fixing easily exploitable things (or far more important issues) they waste their time changing the color of zombies shirts. So it's an exploit via dumb ass devs not removing/fixing something. The exploit is the pricing. Zero reason they sell for that much. You know this, I know this, everyone knows this.
Ya get what i mean?
I understand. For all we know, this mechanic could be either toned down or taken out completely before the story mode releases next year, and we get that true experience we all yearn for with 7 Days. That being said the vending machines still require a lot of work to make a ton of duke's but it can be exploited very easily if done right.
