I just feel as though JLO finds her self to be the biggest, most important, most relevant artist and it’s not true it’s really not true and I just think that the only thing that keeps her together is chasing love, if it doesn’t work with Ben, I don’t see where she goes in the relationship department. so I think that she is desperate to make it work because I don’t see where else she can go from there that the people will care
I think you’re so right about this - if she had a little bit more humility and a little less ego I think she would actually be happier.
She would be more delighted with her results, but I think her ego is so astronomically overblown nothing makes her happy.

*My flop era lasted 3 years. I always wanted to work in international relations and diplomacy. I had spent years studying abroad and doing prestegious internships in Paris, Brussles, The Hague, Geneva, and New York. I invested a lot of money in my carreer; money I didnt have and had to borrow. But after graduating and finalising my last internship, I couldn't find an actual job in that field. I must have sent over a 1000 applications but kept getting ghosted or rejected. That lasted three years. I had completely given up on my dream and felt like a failure. Out of nowhere, I landed a job at the United Nations, and was able to pay off my loans within 3 months. When I got the news I could barely sleep for werks because of the excitement. I still work at the UN. I get to live abroad, travel the world with a diplomatic status, and earn 6 figures (no taxes) while in my twenties. I didnt even dare to dream about having a job like this a few years ago.*

Currently in my flop era! Just graduated with my Master’s and have 3 total degrees. I’ve been job searching and applying to jobs/companies since January this year. I had to get a part time job as a cashier in the meantime while I continue to job hunt; at first I felt like a failure, but with the job market right now, I know that I need to keep trying, keep networking, and keep my head up! I have to remind myself of that every day so that way I can put away my pride and just let the universe do its thing while I continue to put myself out there!

That’s what initially got her, Kim K and select other people out into the public eye, amidst thousands of other talented people that deserved the spotlight more. That won’t happen today because there are about 17 gorgeous women in a group of 30-17 and the ones that aren’t can pay to do something about it it, so looks don’t set people apart anymore the way they used to.

My Achievement: I became an official Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD) through the National Kitchen and Bath Association which requires 5+ years in the industry and required me to study for the exam for a FULL YEAR. Everyday after work I had to read, read, read, and memorize so much information. I am a poor test taker but passed on the first attempt! :) That sticky middle did suck but the feeling of accomplishment was worth every evening studying!

My flop era has kind of been brought upon by personal health hardship. Over a year ago, i had a stroke. My life hasnt been the same since. I've gotten better, but im still disabled. I walk with a cane, i go to physical therapy, im unable to work or drive. I can't go anywhere alone. My parents need to take me everywhere. I'm only 26 yrs old. My life has barely started yet, and it's already this challenging. I used to go to day rehab. I had to learn how to eat again. I used to have a stomach tube. I also used to have a trach. I used to have a walker and wheelchair as well. I'm almost back to normal, but this sticky middle of recovery is hard. I almost died twice in the hospital and had to be brought to the ICU. My body has been through a lot. This whole experience has been emotionally traumatizing, and it's been hard to move through it and on. It's been isolating. One of my physical therapists was super negative, like your trainer as well. She kept saying i wasn't getting better either. She also said i could have another stroke. She also tried to have my hours cut. A speech pathologist also told me I'd never eat again, but im eating normally now. I just want to live my life like normal again. I've been through a lot, but this last part feels the longest, even though it's the easiest physically probably. I also had to break up with my boyfriend of 6 years during this because he essentially ghosted me. I feel very lonely because i dont have a lot of friends right now since i don't have the ability to make them. However, i am trying to get back more into my hobbies, like reading now that i have more free time.
I've been through something similar, and you will turn the corner eventually. You know you can do it... when you're ready. The soul needs these dark nights.
Listen girl, EVERYONE will have some health catastrophe at some point. And when they do they kick themselves for not cherishing their health when they had it. And most of those people have the situation when they’re old and there IS no more good health on the horizon.
You however WILL get thru it AND get the blessings of being keenly aware that Health is wealth! That gratitude paves a foundation for such happiness and grit that most people will never know ❤️

not exactly the best year of my life but here i am and i’m very proud of my achievements
Since her "pregnant" tour she's done the "Dance Again World Tour" (2012), the "It’s My Party Tour" (2019) and a 120 shows Vegas residency. She's released 3 studio albums + 1 Greatest Hits album + 1 soundtrack album + several singles with songs like On the Floor, Papi, I'm into you, Dance Again, Booty, I Ain't Your Mama, Dinero and many more. She's also released 12 movies since then, a 3 season TV crime drama, a beauty line, a clothes line and a beverage line. She was also a judge on American Idol for 4 years and for 2 seasons in World of Dance. She has also produced numerous TV shows. I'm pretty sure I'm missing a bunch but it's the first time I hear that she's not working enough, if anything she's is notoriously workaholic.
That’s true. Many people don’t know but after her breakup with Marc Jennifer almost went bankrupt. She didn’t have any money left because he never wanted her to work. American idol saved her and then came album Love? with those singles and her career took off. Marc also is never seeing kids or taking care of them. People have no idea about her life but so many have opinion about her.

The gym is actually a great example cause you know what it gives you more than anything else? DISCIPLINE. People HATE discipline and that’s why most people quit. I truly learnt discipline from going to the gym every single day for about half a year now. People don't want to be disciplined and that is also why they don't choose people especially partners who can hold them to a higher standard or keep them accountable.

I went back to school to pursue a master's full-time while working and living alone (i.e., supporting myself). The sticky part for me was at the end of the first year, when I was feeling burnt out and tired of LIFE. I'm now graduating this summer and I couldn't be more proud!

Working in a few gyms, I very fast assumed that man PT's have no idea about women's physique and building it. We don't tolerate high cortisol, our diet is different, menstrual cycle, different body structure etc. They'll get you on the lowest calories and highest weights to lift if you're not losing weight and they're suprised it's not working. Get a girl PT, I highly recommend. Also- women don't need to be told "we're too weak"- bro, you're waking up with high testosterone level

This was a much needed one. Today is my birthday & I was letting this play as I was walking up & I actually delayed my plans so I could rewind back to your walstreet bro intro until the end & screen record so i can listen to this daily! Idk WTH happened. I rewired my brain to default positive & not get stuck in victim for over 4yrs straight & this last year it’s felt like my programming got written over. SOMETHING?$$?)$ was it Tony Robbins? No. Dr Joe Dispenza? Nope it was SHALLON MF’N LESTER!!! Just writing that part to reiterate it back to you again in case you’re ever having a day where you don’t see the point in doing a video… sometimes it just takes a random one about j-lo who you have no interest in to auto play on your bday to change your whole life. That’s all you sis. Thank you! I’ve watched almost all of your videos since 2018/2019 ish & I had just gotten out of my first DV relationship & it had SHREDDED me. I had always been so much like you. Alpha. Empowered. I can do anything. Believed I was just above average in most categories & I was LIVING, until I got tangled with a monster. When you said the words about a predator always looking for someone to be a victim I got chills bc I’ve fallen back in that place. I’ve had some really bad financial hardships & changes this year & it’s also the LONGEST I’ve ever been single(5yrs vs 6 mo) lol.. i think ive let loneliness creep in and devalue me somehow. Thank you for this video - I work in video games and the waves of lay off affected me after a year and a half of working in a very toxic environment. Your video was a good reminder that this was more of a blessing than a curse and that I have learned so much despite the failure.
I have overcome a lot and I am so proud of myself in many ways (bachelor's, master's, great job, small business) but I can see the ways that I stayed in my flop era too long because I was sad over a boy or cared too much about how someone treated me or was fighting against a situation that did not benefit me. The best thing to do is move on quickly, stay happy, and build something better somewhere else. I have so many dreams and I want my attitude to match the height of those dreams so I can accomplish them better and quicker while having a great time!
There's no way that the tour cancellation is simply about wanting to spend more time with your kids. You don't book out a big tour and then just decide last minute to hang out at home with your kids. She's way too disciplined to be that flaky. I 100% believe that her marriage is in deep trouble and how you go out on tour and perform at your best with a smile on your face when your personal life is falling apart? Plus, much of her This Is Me Now theme celebrates her love and happy ending with Ben, which is currently looking pretty dicey. I was happy for them when they rekindled things together. But from what i can see, Jen hasn't read Ben very well, and as much as he's made it abundantly clear that he doesnt like his relationship and personal life in the spotlight, she continually doesnt respect his need for privacy. He already struggles with alcohol, and I'm sure this kind of stuff doesnt help.
I really hope they both will put the other person first, listen to your partners needs and compromise so you can both feel happy and satisfied together this time.
My sticky middle was writing papers at 2am on subjects I hated and missing sleep, time with kids, drinks with friends but finally graduated and it was totally worth it.
I love that book because it definitively states that to live is to suffer and that's just a reality you have to accept.
Genuine question: what if you're suffering because you don't know what story to tell yourself about your pain?

Celebrities like Jlo need to understand that attention seeking and courting the media is only inflating their profile, it does not reflect their popularity and their selling power. Jlo is not popular, her music doesn't sell yet she still has a record deal.
People are getting tired of celebrity culture, it's vacuous and self serving. That's why peeling their layers in your videos as you have done for many years is where we get interest and depth.

this year was my total flop. I finished art high school and at the end of it I got tired. So I picked a total different university major… Chinese studies. I couldn’t keep up at all. And I wasn’t happy at all. But recently I passed the art entrance exam after not drawing for a year. I’m starting art again. I may dislike it at times but at the end of the day it’s what I do and will be doing because I love it too. But I needed this mistake to figure it out
