    Thanks for doing this video. I have ordered the Zone Mortalis stairs kit to see how they line up with the new kit. I think the Necromunda Promethium Storage Tanks will also be a good add to my terrain. Multi level play just became more viable.

      of course, i'm glad you enjoyed it/found it useful. the zone mortalis stair are really nice, i wish GW would make them in mass, stairs are so much better than ladders! this stuff goes great with all GWs current stuff, i love the clips system of the mechanicus, and it even fits together with the Ash Wastes stuff as well! cheers

    Vis a vis the stackable legs, it was something I was hoping for with the Mechanicus stuff because I had this image in my minds eye of people moving between levels for functional flexibility. All I gotta do now is come up with stairs.

      ya i really like them its nice to have the "half height" because it matches up with so much of the other terrain. there are some nice stairs with the bunker/missile silo but you only get 2x sets. the dark uprising ones are nice too, but hard to come by these days. i do wish GW would put out some new en masse with one of the new kits for Kill Team! we can hope!!

    The two-piece gantry legs are absolutely due to limitations in the moulding process. You could do them as one piece units by using sliding cores in the metal dies, but that would make the tooling costs more expensive and could potentially make the fit and function of the models slightly more problematic

      ya makes sense. although, with a two piece mold, running length ways down the legs, i'm still not sure what part wouldnt have worked... seems like they could have easily left all the key parts necessary, and made it work. i mean thats how the previous legs they made were, and they have the pegs and all. so seems strange

    How does the Necromunda terrain compare without that small connector piece?
    I wonder if the reason for it is that the shorter parts then line up with the Necromunda/Zone Mortalis pieces once you add a gantry to the Bheta Decima support and leave off the roof tile of the Necromunda wall, and at the same time if you add the extra piece to the larger of the two supports you would then find that they align with the gantries coming off the Haemotrope Reactors?

      the connectors are universal for all the necromunda ash wastes stuff, which is really cool. so you can mate them up really well. as far as the zone mortalis stuff, there is def some compatibility, but the height varies as i demonstrated. the haemotrope reactors dont have a gantry piece, so i'm not sure what you mean. the fact of the matter is, most of the stuff is a bit off, for exactly lining up, but can def be combined to work without looking out of place. i'm going to try out the kill team stuff as well, didnt even think about the new into the dark stuff, and its heights etc. but there is def tons to discover, and overall its really some nice terrain

    Hi!
    What's the height of the platforms and the total height of the furnace? Thanks :D

    • @TableTopBROs
      @TableTopBROs  6 месяцев назад +2

      the furnace is 4 & 3/4 inches tall, the platform is 1/4 inch so the furnace with a platform on top is 5" the short legs are 2 & 3/8, and the long legs are 4 & 3/4, so with a platform the short legs are 2 & 1/2 inches, and the long legs with a platform are 5"
