Am oretty sure you can export a mesh from Mandelbulber, try and ask in their Facebook forum, they’re a great bunch of peeps, very helpful. You can then import your mesh into Unreal and add it to a level with our fractals.
Thanks for the info. I will check into that. My problem is more in how I get to the mesh to work with the material setup in this project. How does the mesh end up in a material, I guess is my question.@@MachinaInfinitum

@@asherwilkins465 You're in pretty good shape there. A couple of free programs you can start to learn fractals with is Mandelbulb 3D and Mandelbulber. Unreal Engine 5 is also free to use and that would allow you to use Machina Infinitum's Essence and Mecha plug ins. The plug ins cost a few bucks but well worth it, and a good way to learn because you can play with the fractals in real time which speeds up the learning process IMO. I've been having a lot of fun with Essence and Mecha, and started from scratch much like yourself. It will take you a few weeks to get going. But if I can do it you can do it👍.
@@MachinaInfinitum Thank you so much for fast reply, I just found that. Have not played with it yet but this looks like a great product to dive into. Thank you so much for this.
Machina Infinitum Thanks, and is essence going to be a primary library collection that gets more Mandelbrot formulas and updates added indefinitely? Or is it like a pack, with other different formula packs to be released in future which would also need to be purchased? I would be much more likely to make a purchase if it was a one time investment of a collection that would continue to grow without additional costs. I hope there is a middle ground where you are still making enough revenue from new users and other projects to continue development while also being able to ensure a payment system without micro transactions.

you guys are crazy,
How can this be possible? :D As an old Mandelbulb3D enthusiast the rendering time seems out of this world
It’s insane 😅
Because it's not a fractal, just a Mandel Bulb. There's no micro details nor infinite zooming, any zooming.
@@kewk the lack of deep zoom is a limitation of modern GPUs, not the code. If rendered with CPU you can zoom as much as you want.
