One of the best well explained watercoloring tutorial I think I have seen in a VERY long time! I am a beginner and love the loose style painting. I had to turn on the bell notifications for all because I can't believe this was a month ago when I was frankly searching for this style and I was already subscribed to you. Thank you, I will be working on this painting tomorrow, hopefully able to tag you on Instagram. xoxo Shana
Thanks! Saw you on Instagram, thanks for the shout out. Really happy you liked the video and like my way of teaching. Sorry I haven’t posted lately. More to come in the future though.
@@peaceandpaintbrushes Making videos is so time consuming. Due to my experience several years back... I really try to promote and give as much appreciation as I can... I do of course hope you are taking care of yourself and having fun with your craft. But you really are the best teacher I've seen. I'm even paying for art (watercolor) courses online, and I would stop paying for those and switch to you if you had a patreon instead.
Wow that’s a big compliment! Thanks 😊. Maybe at some point in the future I will do that . I mostly do this for fun and just to share the love of watercolor to people but I’ve been thinking of doing more stuff more often for a long time. It is hard to make videos and I said this on Instagram too but painting for me is a way to calm down, chill out, and listen to music and it’s very hard to do that and make tutorials. I’m trying to figure out a way to do it but honestly I rarely paint one painting and finish it. I usually do a loose wash of something and add details later. I think I just need to record all the painting I do and later piece it together haha. I really do appreciate your support, it def makes me want to work harder to make more videos for you guys 😃
TheHomegrownArtist I loved this one but would love to watch any watercolor videos from you that I could follow along. So to answer your question, both!!!
Hi there, I'm a new subscriber from watching your journal pages processes. I was wondering if you will consider a flip through video of your journals. They look beautiful! Thanks.
Thank you for subscribing!! Weirdly enough someone bought my finished journals from me as art pieces. So I can’t do a flip through just yet. I’ll have to complete a new journal first. Working on that lol
I moved to South Korea and haven’t been able to create a recording set up yet 😬. I just moved to a new apartment so hopefully it will be possible soon! I’m so happy you liked the video :)
Hi Barbara...hollering at you from Daphne, AL. Hope you are doing well. (My sister and I met you in Michael’s (Eastern Shore) 2 yrs ago (I think it was). Anyway, happy to see you are doing well and painting;-). Where can I find the Qor paints in Daphne, or can I? Hope to see you again someday. Take care of yourself.
Hi Glenda! I remember meeting you! Hope you have been well and enjoying paining also 😃. I don’t know if you can find them in Daphne but you can sometimes fined them in Foley at Jan’s Art Supply Store. However they are more expensive there than if you order them online. Your best bet is to get them from amazon because they have sets at a lower price. If you look in the description of this video I have some links that will lead you to a couple of their sets. They have sets of 24 colors, 12 colors, and 6 colors. I started with the 6 color set but eventually loved them so much I later got the 24 set! Hope you enjoy them.
Beautiful, I loved the tutorial! Just wanted to give you a heads up that the silver brush black velvet line is made from “a blend of natural squirrel hair and black synthetics” per their website. Just wanted to clarify since you mentioned them being synthetic.
Great painting , I really enjoyed your presentation Thanks
Beautiful 🥰 flowers 💕!
Thank you for sharing 😊!
Looks fun can’t wait to try this. Thank you for sharing 😃😃

Very nice. I learned a lot.
Thank you so much for sharing this! It’s beautiful and very helpful...and I love my Qor as well.
Your welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Qor paints are awesome 😎

So fun. I wish you would do many more!
😊 thanks! More like this or just more real time watercolor videos?

Plus, I seem to learn so much from you, like how much DS flows compared to other paint, etc.
Haha ok. I plan to do more in the future for sure. Happy to hear it helps you!
Just doing this one again! I love watching the paint do it’s thing. I hope you are well.
😀! Glad you like it. Have fun!!
I am doing well. Hope you are staying safe!

@@peaceandpaintbrushes Wow! That's wonderful! Yes please 👍👍👍
So beautiful
Thank you!
I love watching this video, it gives me so much every time. I wonder where you went because it's been a while since you posted anything here.

I’m so happy you liked the video :)
Very informative, Is it possible for mission gold to achieve flow like qor by using ox gall medium?
I don’t know if it will flow like Qor because Qor has that special binder, Aquazol, but it will def make them flow for sure. Thanks for watching 😊
@@peaceandpaintbrushes Yup, love your videos. :)
Awe ☺️
