Ellen, I love your loose flower technique. I feel realistic flower paintings don’t give flowers the natural beauty they deserve. Your flowers are beautiful and inspire me to paint loose and free.
This is beautiful! As I've mentioned before at 75 I am brand brand super new to wc....any art period (never did it growing up or in HS etc. But I love this style at it's what I aspire to achieve. It's really slow going and with bad hands and arms discouraging at times but like a dog with a bone I'm not giving up. I love and watch all your wonderful teaching tutorials....so helpful to me! Thanks so much for sharing all your time and talent!! A little late to this party but trying get to all😀
Your technique of painting abstract flowers is most phenomenal because these flowers do look like real flowers in the abstract way .... I admire and love your tutorials... thank you ..A Bostonian

Just the tutorial I'm looking for today. I really like it. Thanks for sharing your techniques and tips. Even the simple tips of wiping off your brush on the paper towel helps me.
This is so awesome, you are so talented, much more so than many of the other formula , floral ,you tube artists. Your work is unique and individual. I wish you all the best.
Yay!! You helped to inspire me with this one! I really struggle with “loose”! I got closer today! Many thanks for your teachings and wonderful talent!!
I'm a new viewer, subscriber. I admire your limiting yourself to three primary colors. Also, the mon judgement of each stroke. It's I obvious that you are enjoying the process. Beautiful results.

Beautiful! 💕 Love this impressionistic approach, just watching you share your talent is a wonderful distraction from our long U.K. lockdown, I will certainly give these gorgeous flowers a go, thank you for sharing your amazing talent. 🙏🌸🙏
I love watching your videos. You are great at making it sound like even beginners can do it- you’re very encouraging! You have a talent for not only painting, obviously, but you are entertaining and fun to watch. Thank you!! I would love to see a wider shot when you use the water. I can’t seem to get the water-to-paint ratio down and it would help to see you use it. Just a thought. Or a lesson perhaps?
Looks awesome...I am a beginner but I feel that abstract or loose paintings would actually be harder so I shy away from trying this style. What is your thought?
