Glad I found this channel. I am an older guy, nearly 60, and recently am transitioning from bodybuilding/powerlifting to a more calisthenics-based program. For me now it's the struggle itself that is the point -- the rest is just bonus. Thanks for the excellent content, Coach!

(My notes if any1 wanna use them:)
THE PERFECT PUSHUP = most disadvantaged pushup for your level
    - Stop with SAGGY BAG & BOOTY LIFT
    - Start at your level (elevated, knee, feet, footless pushups)
    - Use your serratus to shove the floor from you
    - Round your back like a cat & Use abs to pull core in=Basicaly you are pulling yourself to the hollow position(Footless pushup
    - Shoulders are way too past of your hands)
    - Fingers spread as much as possible, hands facing outwards with 45° angle
Love ur vids. After 2 knee injuries working my ass back. All the Love & Power to you Lee! ❤

Lee, this is the first video where someone came out and called it like they see it which is why my pushups suck, LAZINESS!! Plus, very few people mention the necessity of sleep AND being willing to work around people's issues. I admire how you do this with out being bitter.

I have psoriatic arthritis and my wrists/ankles get injured very easily. I have never been able to do pushups with fingers forward...I do have a wide reach for stability. Glad to know it's okay to do pushups with fingers facing out.

I agree with your emotionally but not logically. The reason why he does not have more subscribers is because he puts it right out there. Consistent hard work followed by evaluation followed by more consistent hard work, etc. Not a sexy easy to digest message yet 100% true.

My arms when standing can’t go straight up. I’ve tried doing a bridge and I end up hurting my elbows.

Ok. I just managed 10 of those with fair form, but I was not gonna hit 20 let alone 5x20. Color me intrigued, that shift to the tops of the feet is really something

A couple of decades ago, I used to do 500 pushups 50X10 every day. I haven't done pushups for a long time and starting again and my triceps get pumped but get burning sensation that forces me to stop.
    Is this normal?
