  • This might be the sickest bluff of all-time. Just a few days after @RampagePoker 's legendary all-in on the @HustlerCasinoLive Million Dollar Cash Game, a new challenger appears with an even bigger bluff with ace-high. I've got my favorite hand in No Limit Texas Hold'em: the pocket aces. What would you do in this spot?

    Doug took Dwan's comment way too personally. Dwan was correct in that its not a good precedent to allow players to make "binding" (not really binding) declarations at the table, because for every 98 players who do it in an honest manner there is going to be 2 or 3 that use it to angle, and a newcomer to the stream like Hank probably wont be able to tell the difference, so it always correct to never turn your hand over if you are in Hank's position regardless of how trustworthy the other player may seem.

    • @Hawksforever99
      @Hawksforever99 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@bullyboy131 True, but it's hard to not do that. I don't know what % of himself he had in this game (did we ever even hear what %??), but if he had more than 50% I'd be surprised. That said, even $500k is still a lot of money. For me, I'd be more scared to lose other people's money than my own. I don't like letting down people that trust me. It's just not a good look. But it's also hard to not get exploited a little sometimes when your whole career is on YT as well as all the times you've done analysis on a hand and then you give a lot of insight into how you play/think in given situations. I don't know if LSG Hank has ever watched any of that, but certainly Doug has a rep and I'm sure most high stakes people know generally what the rep is!

I find the interactions between you two to be an interesting dynamic in that you both are so well versed in the game and are at the top echelons of the poker world, you two were almost having this intellectual feud in the most amicable way.
    I would love to see a HU match or continue to play at this level and battle. It would also leave a weird taste to the hand if he magically selected the ace of hearts twice (25% chance) after seeing the cards of his opponents.
      Hustler already had issues with weird all-in calls in the past so I wouldn't put that kind of pressure on them, again.

      Doug was not angling, but i always felt angling should be a part of the game. in this case as doug reveals cards to randomise his call frequency he can try to get a live read from hanks face. hank knowing hes now stone cold bluffing has to sit there and poker face his way through it to win, its where the psychology meets the maths the game is most fun.
