Thanks to Tom Dwan for beating Doug and forcing him to stream for the next 20 years to make the money back!
Bazam is back!
Lol hating but still watching. Dough you gotta love the haters
@@mateuszsikorski2081 in what world is this hating
i think with the lodge he makes that money pretty fast
5 years. Doug only had 25% of himself 😂😂😂
I was not a big fan of yours, but last night after watching how well you took the loss and it never showed on your face made me a huge fan of yours. The way you treated others and your demeanor was amazing and showed how gem of a person you are. I was rooting for you to make the money back, A fan secured and a subscriber. Much love brother.
Contrast that with Dwan whining about the clock after winning over a million-dollar pot.
@@OneEyedJack01 Exactly, i thought Tom being a pro tanked longer than he should have.
Typical smooth brain comment unaware that a guy like doug is massively aware of his public image. He's a public figure so tailors his reactions etc for us. Also smart and has enough social nous to get away with actual immoral behaviour like spruiking rugpulls and crypto scams by using humour.
He's a funny guy and makes great content but a average human
U must be new here if you don’t like Doug.
@@agentcrypto7741 Nope, and i said ị previously wasn’t a big fan of him, does not mean I didn’t like him
I feel like I'm back in 2012 watching Tom Dwan winning all these massive pots
2008*
I watched 90% of this stream live and I was so not disappointed. You took some rough beats very well and your continued enthusiasm for the game shined thru. Thanks for being a part of this Doug. If you wouldn’t have been on, I wouldn’t have watched this particular one.
I strongly believe that this pot set the tone for the night and made folks open up a bit more and make more moves. Cheers, Doug. Some of the most entertaining poker I’ve had the chance to watch.
Is Doug’s objective to spend an entire buy in to loosen the game up?
@@ryannewton9325 Noone ever said it was his objective. He played his game and that loosened the mood a bit.
I think Doug knows exactly what he should do on that flop and knows he did the other thing 😂
Argh Doug did the chatty cathy drink-muh-drank part on the turn, then stone cold silence on the river lol
That's a huge tell, but worse than that, letting someone you don't know super well sweat you basically puts out double the tells =s
On a normal game, maybe fine.. on these stakes? No way in hell lol
Doug - You handled that entire situation so great after the hand - You turned a tense situation around and brought the table and game up. Although, you didn't have the best day on-stream, it was great watching you play and you brought an amazing atmosphere to the game. And even in the other spot where you were bluffed, you acted with class and made the night fun for the players at the table and the viewers.
He's easily the most entertaining guy to watch play.
I would hate losing to Doug. But I know I'd walk away being entertained.
Doug needs to focus on winning more than being alan Keating 2.0.
Haven't seen him actually win for a while. Just punting because it makes you popular now.
Found Doug’s burner
@@troyvietnam it was a donkey move,he’s repping a tiny range.Of course nowadays you can justify doing any dumb shit with ranges and balance and whatever
@@Gos1234567 if he is randomizing and i have no reason to believe he wasn’t, its fine. Tom is in a tough spot there with most of his range.
That session with Doug, Durrrrr, Wesley and all the others was absolutely legendary. So many great hands, bluffs and calls. You did not disappoint us, Doug. Thank you
Tom’s tank on the turn built up Doug’s aggression for the river bluff lol
I agree, it looked like he was getting sticky with a king. I think some of that was on purpose.
Yeah I think Dwan is more psychology as well as mathematical and I think Doug is so deep into the GTO rabbit hole he forgets about the influence of that bigger picture
Tom knew he had him pre flop...the flop just locked it up. From there on Toms ONLY thoughts were on "How can I extract the MOST from him" the Tank...everything was acted out PERFECTLY. And that is why he is such a scary player a true master of the art.
bullshits, doug is not a weak regular who just guess if the combo is a good bluff or not
Big props Doug, consummate professional watching your table behavior and talk
He absolutely knew Doug was bluffing, and was mentally recording all Doug’s mannerisms while waiting an intentionally exorbitant amount of time to watch. This will pay off for Dwan in a future Doug bluff in the future. 👍
He have explained this and wasn't completely sure until Polk started the clock calling (like sure he was very sceptical). That made it seem waay too nervous, like the icing to make the decision to not fold and just see.
Tom played it perfectly.
Can't disagree, but in a standard table/level/ doesn't Tom just shove river standardly? btw, i thought, he was tank...tank tank, shoving, so a king may call, given the tank.
From a viewer's perspective, this was absolutely the best day as a whole. Small pots, tight play and no table talk gets boring for viewers. Very unfortunate for you that you got the short end of this one, but I do thank you for bringing the energy, high VPIP, huge pots and table talk that helped liven things up and make this the best day.
I love how Doug is knocking on toms flop and turn size bet when they actually were the perfect amounts to get you to spaz out.
YEAHE funy part of this ........
This isn’t really the mentality of the GTO player. Unless Doug is saying he made a mistake in not following his strategy, he’s going to have bluffs in basically every situation no matter the size. Doug is just making a comment on Tom’s strategy: over all possible hands it might make more money to bet bigger with certain hands. I think Daniel Negreanu said it himself: if you’re playing disciplined to a sound strategy in GTO, every big hand you lose is a cooler (just like some hands you have to call, some hands you have to bluff).
Doug you were very stoic during the $3MM pot. I appreciate how, even after the hand, you stayed quiet.
Doug's best polker face was when he knew wesley's hand against dwan
Took the loss and the needles like a champ, what a stream!
Looking forward to additional breakdowns from last night's game. Props Doug for bringing the action.
You are a legend mate..I love you're poker game!
Tom set up that check on the river (by tanking on the call on the flop). Brilliant
Looks like sharking to me...
Doug i don’t know if you will ever see this but from myself and the whole poker community thank you and big props for setting the tone for the most legendary poker game i have ever seen
Doug, You're the Man, Keep up the Good Work for all of us out here who enjoy your vids!
Lol. Worst play ever.
Good job dougie !! Back to respecting you again !! Wasn't about winning or losing but showing you can swing the hammer ⚒️
Doug, you really made the stream enjoyable to watch. Loved the banter. 👍
Perfect set up by tom. Trying to look weak. And polk ate the bait 😂
Two legends just battling
Dwan on another level lets be real.
@@lloydchristmas1086 bro doug is elite . He's on the same playing field as Tom. How many bracelets does Tom have? Doug has 3
@@ameribrahim5405 Dwan is more schooled in live cash. Doug cut his teeth online. Not saying Doug is bad at ring games, but Dwan definitely has an edge in this format. Doug would admit as much.
@@ArmorOfZeus I don’t think it changes the sentiment of the original comment.
@@jake_villanueva ohh I agree.
The Wesley/Dwan hand with you in the middle...that was fun.
Wow Doug you put on such an amazing show last night. I felt like I was at the table with you guys trying to bluff. Them hands made me sweaty and anxious not gonna lie. It was a great stream and you DELIVERED with the action. Great work doug, sucks it didnt go in your favor but it was hella fun to watch!
22:44 of Doug trying to rationalize a 75 yard punt.
There's exactly two whole hands Tom is losing to. 66 and kk. Every draw you could be representing on the turn misses on the river and the second six discounts you having 66.
It's a punt Doug. It just is.
@TT&G Do you need this to be a good move on Doug's part? Doug did not 4 bet preflop and this discounts kk. Doug isn't doing this with AK. Every draw Doug could have been check raising on the turn with missed. What is Doug possibly representing here other than maybe 66? 22? K6? 77? The only story that would possibly add up is k6. He hasn't built a plausible story for any other holding.
It's a punt. It just is and yes i have the hindsight of seeing Tom's hand. So what? After Tom calls the turn check raise shouldn't Doug assume he isn't dealing with anything less than 2 pair and more likely a set seeing there's no plausible 3bet preflop 2 pair hand.
He just wasn't willing to give up after he turned open. His planned super hidden ultra suck out never materialized and instead of just accepting that he punted into a not so hidden boat. He knows he didn't block any of the boats.
@@dominicclark5342 Doug didn't think he had the boat. He thought Dwan had a king.
It is hard to protect yourself against someone having a low pocket-pair that hits trips on the flop. Obviously if you think someone has that you get the f*** out of the way, but Dwan kept it hidden well. Doug just picked a terrible time to bluff.
@@CMCMTTTVhe literally has nothing the entire time. Maybe less than nothing. The new school simulator poker is worthless if you can't read your opponent at all
Love that u and tom have put everything bad behind u guys and i realy hope we will see u2 more playin against each other #respect
Nothing better than Dwan tilting Doug enough to call the clock. And subsequently winning the pot.
The whole banter between Doug and Wesley is obnoxious as hell. Worst than having Hellmuth at the table as at least he provides unintentional comedic value.
@@jamesprather1857 I agree.
It’s like watching a leveling war between two people to see whom is more socially awkward. Although Doug is less annoying.
Great job last night Doug! Regardless of the tough loss (understatement), you drove the action and I watched every minute! Bravo to you and the beast playing last night! Poker history 👍🏆🏆🏆🏆

It may of cost you 1M but you are now a poker legend. What a stream! What a move by Hank too! Someone commented on the preflop action on that hand that everybody was 3 betting Hank and you had also just bluffed the shit out of him and shown a few minutes earlier. Guess he wanted his man card back.
thats why you never show a bluff
they will come after you hours later, when they would fold
A poker legend? For losing the biggest pot in his life and getting bluffed off another massive pot? Well, I guess your right.. LOL
@@elephantricity he made a good bluff and ran into a boat (dwan thought about folding for a good amount of time), and got hit with a great bluff and folded. he left the fold to chance anyway. Can call him a legend for him taking the loss well perhaps
@@brendanhalpin8432 Dwan never considered folding. It was considering whether or not he goes all-in.
@@fmcdomer Personally, I agree with you. I usually take it one step further though, most nights, I never show my cards unless they pay for it. If they fold I never show, that just giving them free information.
But for some people it can work in their favour as it can help push some players over the edge into tilt mode, and end up calling a lot lighter.
Well done Doug, putting 420 k at risk for 291 k , you are the greatest player, keep on winning
😂
So true !
Doug a punk clown 🤡🎭
Doug, you the man. That hand of AA against Hank, followed by your temperament was excellent.
Thank you for making the stream so great, I’ll be watching for the next 22 Years If I’m still around
The most impressive was how handled the lose .. like a boss . Still upbeat and no embarrassing face shock after the loss sets In. He was polite through the hand and always funny and polite at the table.. he is my favorite player to watch and I think he very skilled and has the guts to raise when he needs to. Tom ran good and had the hands vs easy boards for him to read.
thats because he know he was on camera...deep inside he wanted to cry i am sure
Good luck on the recoup, I hope you are doing well Doug. Wish you nothing but the best dude
Doug, much respect. You talked the talk then you walked the walk. You were great for the game.
Dwan is one hell of a competitor! He truly never gets tired of calculating and taking every little detail into account, a special mind that found the perfect game 😊
The real gold would be knowing what Tom was thinking during this entire video.

Yes “crushing” 😂 still, bold bluffs

Well played Doug. And i think Tom's call was solid.
You’re a top man Doug, pure class…..best wishes from Ireland lad 👍 ☘️ 🍺
Wow on second viewing Dwan just crushed this hand. He absolutely figured out the info Wes was giving off combined with the action when he was tanking on the turn. He played this perfectly.
I agree. He has been in a spot similar to this that he was recalling from the endless hands he has played. This is a brutal way to make a living or to do while existing in this life. It wears on you and it shows.
Tom was never thinking about folding. I believe him when se says it was either shove or call. What went on in his head was, "what hands could possible call if I shove?" And the only hands that you could have and would call with would be kk, and 66. If you had 22 you would probably fold. So he decided calling is the best move.
lots of respect to Wesley, Airball, Polk, and Dwan. Everyone put on a show and gave action. Other guy's played tight but still was involved in some memorable calling/folding moments as well. That was a great finale and it did not disappoint.
I just wish the 1m buy-ins are more frequent. Maybe once every other month or twice a year or something. After seeing 6 figure pots every 10 minutes, it''ll be boring to go back and watch 4 figure pots.
19:30 Wes finger waved Tom home. Tom's tanks is waiting for body language to speak.
I think that actual moral of the story here is don't let Wesley sweat your hand.
Ditto!
I understand that peer pressure can be strong... but WTF shows live hands after buying in for $1M?
It actually worked both ways. Tom called Wesley’s bluff in the 3.1 million pot because Doug had seen Wesley’s hand.
Wes is not a professional player !
@Leggo My Ego true but to be fair Wes didnt reveal his cards intentionally....
Tom felt yesterday like a fisherman in a pond full of fish !! 🤦🏻♂️😂 He made more than $2M just out of Doug and Wesley.
They act like clowns, so they should lose their money.
Yup but it was over 1.5M cause he lost a cooler against LSG Hank.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 Agree !!
@@michaelwou1667 Yup !! A real cooler. 🤦♂️
Like you so much! You are such a gentle, humorous and prefssional player.
F's in the Chat boys, RIP doug's 54s bluff combos. Also RIP Doug bc you can tell he pounded some beers with the boys after this and before doing the breakdown with his semi-stuters, face rubbing, red nose and heavy breathing lmao -- hope it took the edge off brother! You made it a great game to watch, ty!
Also: I've posted this many times, on the Hustler video, Bart's video, etc., if he just gives you 1 combo of KK [for the occasional non-4bet KK], the 1 combo of 66, he still has to find what hands call a shove when he jams. There are no 76s, so really it's just K6s and 22? And idk if you call off with 22? Maybe some % of the time, like the AA hand? Maybe you also pay off with K7s, getting like (too lazy to open the calc) 3-4:1, blocking all the boats? Kinda doubt that though. Also, I'd have to assume it's likely Tom came with $1m, maybe 1.5-2? Maybe, like a 1/2 player who only brings $4-450 to each session, he didn't want to risk going relatively busto in a game that was (other than Doug) pretty beatable? Has to be factored in given I'd imagine it's hard to get $1m more dollars as a line of credit from someone lmao. As does the fact that I would assume he knew this is likely the biggest hand you've ever played in your life, which would have me tilting you even more toward value than any kind of bluff hand [which is *hilariously* wrong apparently]. A lot to consider given the stakes and how early it was in the stream, much more than just your average hand breakdown tbh.
Wesley again put his head down like that against Dwan, later for the huge pot. Dwan read this tell correctly and called him fairly light.
He used to never do that..not sure why he thinks thats a good idea now. 😂
No offence, but Dwan is playing at a different level to everyone at that table. Different class.
100%
It was 1 day. It happens. Let's see if he can do it multiple times.
If Doug did have something which there was nothing that could beat him here, obvious call. Would he have folded?
The QQ call was impressive.
@@mrhumble2937 Are you slow? Dwan plays even higher stakes than these in Asia on a regular basis.
@@6thsense464 and you don’t have to be Tom Dwan’s defender, bro. What was that is true, it is a small sample size. Dwan plays with crazy businessman, not professional poker players. You’re gonna tell me that’s the same? This is a small sample size.
Tom is just different from the rest of the table it terms of his live play experience, tells, exploits etc. I’m sure Doug’s play is more solver approved but Dwan owns this set up.
Crazy how you manage to take this loss. Full respect to Vanessa.
Pfff not a problem, you just going to grind it all back in micros!!

Pretty sure this would be considered pure spew in the good old 2p2 days :D
True Supreme Leader Doug! You were such a good sport yesterday...even when losing one million dollars! Kudos sir!
Love the comment after you've lost and go "well, at least I don't have to worry you that you gave my hand away". Low-key joking after a chunky L is very classy. Love it
Step 1 to being a poker pro, show someone else at the table your hand.
Also, imagine your are staking Doug in this game and he pulls out these shenanigans……
If you’re staking Doug, you should be aware of how he plays on these streams. This is not new. Doug’s goal on these streams has been to help aid and raise the quality for viewers. If someone staked him and was mad they should be staking other players because this is how Doug has and probably will play in the future.
If one mix in the head to do a good show and play poker the result can be bad.
You were definitely the heart of the table
Ouch. Had to drop my boy a view and a like for that one. I appreciate the entertainment you put on lastnight Doug!
Apart from the obvious down part, you're always a great addition to the games. Great behavior, action player and these vids breaking the thought process and hands are great. Hope you go back to get your Polker dollars soon.

Doug you handled that with absolute class.
My Biggest idol Tom Durrr Dwan! So Happy he is still around. And really Nice analyse Doug and great way of taking the loss. 👍🏻
Wp Doug. I have a lot of respect for you posting this hand so soon after the fact.
Not well played at all. Doug was a class man all the session but he wasn't able to recognize the basic behaviour of looking weak when you are strong.
7 set is a monster hand.
To bluff a monster hand is a very bad idea.
Doug never felt Tom had a monster hand.
And Tom did the perfect show.
Sometimes in poker we forget basic things. The big stakes, the laughing and talking, the tv.
Doug had all that environment and forgot to be the good player of poker he is. He was more on to be a tv star than to be the precise and observant poker player.
Acting always as a class man but not focused enough.
Wesley also acted influenced by the farandula and previous comments of being a nit.
They both were surpassed by the show.
How come that flop is not a fold?
It's a thin line between creative and donk.
Doug I gained a lot of respect for you after the stream, keep it up!
This just in,
Brbrbrbrbrbreaking news!
Doug calls clock because he got nervous with nothing. 😂😂
All in good fun for a million dollars but calling the clock in the nose bleed stakes at 3 mins is wild 😂. Not to future self, never let Wesley sweat my cards
Its ab the bet size. You dont need to be in the tank that long on such a small percentage of your stack bet.
@@nicklazzaro5055 Its fkn Tom Dwan hes allowed to do what he wants hes the Goat.
It's like Doug was in a hurry to lose as many hands as he could.
@@nicklazzaro5055 no it is not. did you not hear rob say he's "never seen the clock called in high stakes?" rob is not a young guy and he's been playing high stakes for a long, long time. doug was out of line, probably didn't realize that it was only two minutes+ when he made his first remark about, "moving this along." not the end of the world, but not appropriate at nose bleed stakes to be making any kind of reference to time after 2 mins when the pot is about to get into the millions.
truthfully, i think he was sweating a lot more than he would have normally been because wesley saw his cards and made a comment and it gave dwan something to think about. wasn't comfortable, didn't want wesley to cost him a million bucks, and called the clock. it is what it is. doug's probably never played a pot that size in his life and he's out there telling guys what timeframes they should be making their decisions. the more i think about it the more i think he's probably a little embarrassed
