Amazing video! I feel like I was shopping with you! Your finds were excellent. Love the brass box and the Walter Bosse or Walter Bosse style item. Amazing 🎉
Older video, the first London video!!! The tapestry vintage piece is my favorite!!! I have done cross stitch pieces that have taken close to 150 or more hours, thus u can imagine how much time your magnificent piece took!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Just catching up on your videos. The painting of the bridge looks like Bristol where my Grandparents were from and Southsea is where I am from! Spooky. I so miss UK shops and car boots, I've lived on the island of Cyprus for 22 years. Loved this series, brings back memories of hunting for treasures.
Thank you so much for watching this older video! I miss UK shopping too! I just don't get over there as much as I would like! Antiquing in Europe is just such a special experience.
@@AllPutTogether You're so welcome! No where seems to do shops like the UK lol. I'm sure it is, I hope to do that one day - in the meantime I'll enjoy watching your trips 🙂
I lived in Vallauris on the French Riviera for a while. Its has a famous pottery studio there where indeed Picasso made some pots and also Miro was up the road as well. The glazing effect on the pot is fat lava and is often done by West German potteries.. Very popular in the 70s. Great Haul Andie :)
Wow, thank you so much for the background! So interesting! I had no idea what the glazing was called - I had never seen it before. Thanks so much for watching. :)
Andi ☀️ I adore the brass cigarette box. That was beautiful. So were the porcelain cheetah 🐆 bookends! One thing I noticed from my experience with European artwork is everything is very moody, like you put a special filter over the painting. You make me laugh so much when you say it might be available for Sale or you might keep it. That usually means you're going to keep it. LOL..😂 whether you sell it or keep it thank you for sharing eat with us 😊❤
Yes! When I watched her latest video I thought it was so funny that we both thrifted a pair recently. I've been looking for danish candle holders for ages so I was excited when I finally found a pair. They can be so pricey!
The £5 painting looks to be Clifton Suspension Bridge which crosses the Avon Gorge near Bristol . Hope that is some help to you .Just found you and I am from the UK So will be subscribing. Best wishes .
Yes Portobello Road and Old Spitalfields Market are both great places to shop. Pricing is all over the place but I was able to find plenty for resale and for myself.
Hi, I’m a new subscriber and LOVE your channel. I’ve been binge watching your videos! Question, I have looked on Etsy but couldn’t find very much in your store. Feel like I’m doing something wrong. Help! 💕
Yay! Thank you for subscribing. This is the busy season for my Etsy shop, so a lot of the items in this video sold immediately. Was there something you were looking for?
That moody art you showed @ 20:30 doesn't appear to be a real painting. I didn't see any brush strokes. But I may be wrong as I am not looking at it in person but it does not appear to be authentic. It's good practice to avoid touching the front of the art with your fingers when dealing with authentic oil or acrylic paintings. Europe is such an amazing destination. Good food, great architecture, fabulous artifacts /museums, beautiful furniture and chandeliers, a long history and rich in the arts!
On screen it definitely looks like a print, but in person there are lots of raised brush strokes. Thanks for the reminder on touching the paint - I'm always very guilty of that! lol The art in Europe is really unmatched! Wish I had the budget to bring it ALLLLL home. ;)
You are too jerky be still for a minute when showing us the items. You move around wat too much. I agree that music was distracting try something very calm less drums pounding. Otherwise it would be fun to watch you.
Enjoyable video. Love your art pieces and the horse. Love your energy and enthusiasm. I think you would be great on a tv sitcom. 😉
Aww, thank you! ;)
Thank for sharing your trip and haul have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks so much for watching!
22:30 moody watercolor scenery is my favorite, and I don’t blame you for keeping it, Andi.
You know me, I seem to keep more then I let go... Oops. ;)
Amazing video! I feel like I was shopping with you! Your finds were excellent. Love the brass box and the Walter Bosse or Walter Bosse style item. Amazing 🎉
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks so much for watching it! Paris video coming soon... ;)

That tapestry is a forever piece for me. It's so very special. And I imagine it did take a LONG time to do. :)
Great finds. The moody landscape is my favorite.
Me too! :) Thanks for watching.
I love the brass cigarette holder plus I liked the glass and brass trinket holder which you didn't buy which you showed in your film.😊
Great haul Andie, love the black and white framed drawing ( I would keep it if I were you ), glad you enjoyed the U.K markets 😃🇬🇧
It brings me joy every time I see it! Def a keeper for now. :)

The first art work is of Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol England.
Thank you!! :)
The framers T.Gilbert Ltd was established on that date 1857 that’s not how old the art work is !
I’m sure you know that though❤
I didn’t! Thank you very much for sharing!

I know - I want to keep it all, all the time!! :)
That cross stitch is so cool! It's not my decorating style, but I would have been tempted nonetheless.
Also excited to see your forever piece of artwork. 👀
I was thinking about filming a video of my fav art pieces that I've gotten thrifting/antiquing. :)
Love the needlework
It's definitely a keeper! It's not often I like the frame too. :)
Your watercolour is of Bristol it is the Clifton Suspension Bridge build by Brunel
Thank you! It looks like it would be a lovely area. Thanks for watching!
Love your fun quirky jerky videos!
10:16: your danish candle holders on the right look exactly like the ones Laura Caldwell thrifted in one of her last videos.
Yes! When I watched her latest video I thought it was so funny that we both thrifted a pair recently. I've been looking for danish candle holders for ages so I was excited when I finally found a pair. They can be so pricey!
Love your videos
Thanks so much for watching!
Darling do you have a wall with just your tapestry and hand made I just found one that is stunning and it has embroidered lifted roses
Most of the pieces are scattered around but I have so many now, I may need to make a whole wall for them!

That's what I thought.. x❤
Thank you!! I haven't done the research yet and my UK inlaws didn't know. Very helpful. Thanks for subscribing! :)
Great videos. What are the best times to go to the Flea markets? After 11 am?
In my opinion, no earlier than 9:30am for Portobello. But for Old Spitalfields, get there when it opens.
Thank you!!!
Great video do you videos on how to sell on Etsy
Thanks! I have one in the works and plan to release it soon. :)
what a great video! I am going back to London in September and want to hit this market. Would you say it was good? and the priceing?
Yes Portobello Road and Old Spitalfields Market are both great places to shop. Pricing is all over the place but I was able to find plenty for resale and for myself.
thank you!

Love the tapestry. Great find.
Thanks so much! :)
ove it all...
Thanks for watching! :)
When I was in London years ago, I purchased tons of goodies at the Portobello swap meet. It appears they have lost some of their luster
Europe is so overrun right now post pandemic, I'm wondering if that changed the dynamic. Although I will say, compared to Paris, it was much cheaper.
Great trip to the flea market but the music in your video is very annoying.
Thanks for shareing your time at these antique markets but you don't need to talk so much.about the item or area they were from .😅
😮
Music is too jarring
trash minus treasure market
