They're fairly well sought after and prices vary, but that one has an onyx base so that puts it in good territory IMO Loved the hand-painted tray and the cowboy painting, he's very handsome!
Wow, that still life oil painting was such a deal! Like someone else commented, there may have been a pricing mistake because I could see that piece easily being $122, or $220, but $22? WOW! Great find!!

I do not shine my brass. I'm not a reseller I just buy what I like. I'm really into brass candle holders and I like them with a tarnished look. Just found a gem of one in a thrift store. It was hidden in the Christmas section because someone put a holly sprig on it. $3.99!

On the painting with the pineapple, look very closely for real brush strokes. They put varnish on them to make them look like oils. Prints on canvas have been done for many years so it can still look old. I just bought two that turned out to be prints so I had to return them. Both well known artists and I paid a lot.
My daughter LOVES the butterfly trays/coasters! We have one set and every time we find them out she wants to buy more. Also, I think the younger generation would love the dog bookends. I would like it even more with the odd coloration on the wood.

Because it was a different style than how she currently has her house decorated. She has a lot of bright modern stuff now. The painting was a more traditional look.
