One of the reasons that I love estate sales is that I get to see inside old homes. I love seeing the floor plans, things like built-ins, staircases, mantels, cabinetry, flooring, light fixtures etc…
What an amazing array of beautiful things. Estate sales make me sad, however, especially when you see an entire lifetime of treasured memories and prized collections spread out for sale.
I absolutely love estate sales like this. Even though I can rarely afford to buy anything at them I treat them like museums and just wander around appreciating everything the owners had collected over the years.
I looked up Joel Bergman Las Vegas Architect, and I found that Joel David Bergman, was born August 20, 1936 and died of natural causes on August 24, 2016. At that time he was survived by his wife, Valentina, and several children and grandchildren. His four sons are Leonard, George, Valentin and Ivan; his daughters Alessandra and Lori; and his grandchildren at the time of his death in 2016 were, Daryl, Marissa, Nicolle, Lucas, Daniel and Remington.
@@deboramccallum3987 When my husband of 50 years got home on hospice, as was his final wish, I was in the other room as the wonderful hospice nurse was tending to him. I looked around at all he had brought into our home, artwork, furniture, etc., not a lot, but nice. Suddenly it hit me: he can't take any of these things with him. The Bible tells us to not love the things of this world but the things of God which we both did and I still do. For those in Christ, being with God is our forever home.
I have watched your videos for several years and enjoy your interests as they align with mine usually, however, this one I couldn't finish as your envy of the "rich" was just too much. I will continue to watch and hopefully enjoy your content for a long time. Thank you for helping me pass my time as I'm a disabled older person who shops vicariously through RUclips. May all your days be blessed.
Envy of the rich? Not sure why you interpreted it that way. I don't have envy.... I have awe, appreciation and even inspiration but not Envy that is a victim mindset emotion.
First off, I don't understand your "victim mindset". Envy means having a longing for what others have, there is nothing "victim" about it. You expressed the envy throughout your video starting with the title alone and then continuing with all the ooh's and aww's, even stating at one point that "I wish I had money to spend on these things...." You even had to state how much the bottles of booze are worth. Just so you know, it goes beyond admiration when you continuously point out even the "goodies", like a handrail, while in the bathroom. I hope you don't feel as if I'm being disrespectful as I'm only expressing my interpretation of what you're saying and putting out to the world. I'm only one opinion and you can easily disregard this comment if you'd like to.
Envy implies jealousy to me. It implies I will never be able to have these things. Please also realize I am a content creator that has to make videos that appeal to a wide audience in order to get views. The title has to draw people in, this one did. It doesn't mean I am a person who is all about material things. Implying I wish I had the money to buy some of those things for myself, I'm not sure why that is a bad thing, who wouldn't feel that way if they see things they love but are responsible about their finances? Handrail in the bathroom had nothing to do with wealth and just the design and characteristics of a very unique house! I think you misinterpretted me on this one. Obviously I didn't disregard your comment! I care what other people think about me, which I'm told is a bad thing, but it's who I am and I don't like to be interpretted as something I definitely am not!
Omg my favorite Architect of all times. (FLW)When it comes to games always look for the date. even though I’m in pain, the tour is making my mouth watering
My husband is working on fulfilling his dream. He wrote and self published a book! I am so proud of him. Magic At The End Of The World by Michael Onufreychuk
My step grandfather owned a Frank Lloyd Wright house... He had made a deal with the state to let him live there til he passed, as they were buying up land for some project... His son had ten days to clean the house out, and it was large, and they bull dozed it down... I was only 18, I knew nothing of Frank Lloyd Wright back then, just remember him talking to my parents about the architect... Now, I see these houses all over the Internet... It's remarkable how much I remember of how his house looked...
What a gorgeous menorah ‼️ Incredible chess set! That Siefried and Roy book, 😲 ‼️Wow, Danni, when you said you spent $2600 on everything, I was shocked it wasn't more. I sincerely hope those amazing profits come to fruition for you‼️
Omg... The castle and it's furnishings are incredible! Wow spectacular! The wood work on the furniture. Ugh... I would have loved to have been by your side there. Thank you so much for sharing this. I am just blown away!
Holy cow what amazing, beautiful, fantastic pieces!! This video was a dream to watch! Just fyi, when you said some of the pottry looked South American, then said probably Mexican...Mexico is actually part of Noth America 😊
Danni that second home is breathtaking. Thanks for sharing it with us. I love seeing all those wonderful pieces. You’ll have to let us know what you do buy. I wasn’t really into the first place that much I’m sorry. But I do love seeing all these beautiful things. Thank you again. 🥰🙏🏻
This was fun! Between both homes, there were so many beautiful and interesting items. BTW it isn't a dragon-horse, it's a kelpie from Scottish lore. I hope you were able to win the items you wanted at auction, especially the ones you most wanted. Have a great day! 💞💕💞
I just want to let you know how much I love watching you!!! I have learned so much about art by listening to you tell me about it❤!!! I know there are people out there that have said some unkind things about you or at the very least eluded to it… But they are just haters!!! They can’t hold a candle to you or your intellect!!! I’m not a seller I just enjoy the Education… Thank you Dani❤

I really enjoyed first sale. I started to go/play in Vegas I the late 70’s at age 18. lol they never checked my id because I wasn’t drinking. Vegas was in my back door coming from Big Bear Lake, Ca. All of that sent chills of excitement seeing artifacts from the Golden Nugget. Now retired living in North Az and with your guidance, I have started reselling part time. I do Vegas auctions a couple of times a yr and load up. So wishing I could preview those auctions. With saying that, there are some great ones that measure the items but some don’t. I just wish 1 time I could spend a few thousand and flip for that great margin. I thank you for teaching me how to be a reseller. ❤
So much fUn tagging along with you. Estate Sales are so unique. Looking forward to all your Thrifting- Reselling videos. I learn from every video. Thank you, Dani❣️😉😊
Oh Danni. I just finished watching your video of the private estate, and holy cow if that wasn't enough, you paraded our eyes through a Castle just outside the Vegas Strip. Pardon me while I go back and retrieve my drooling jaw from the floor. 😂😂😂
A label to look out for is Ermenegildo Zegna, I noticed that you skipped past some ties because you didnt recognise the name. Ermenegildo Zegna aka Zegna is a very high end Italian brand, a plain tie retails for $259.54. Now you have another brand to look out for because it is worth money.
Wow, Wow, Wow! So many great things at both estate sales! That chess set was amazing! You got some really awesome items! Enjoyed this video, so much! Thanks Danni!
High end dress shirts, particularly very large sizes, sell VERY well. Anything over an XL tends to do much better than a smaller size in the same shirt. Just a friendly FYI….I sell/have sold a lot of clothes.
Loved the saying, " there are no shoulds". What a boring world if there was nothing unique or special. This is one of my all time favorite videos on RUclips. Highest quality. Danni your passion is contageous and your appreciation of life is inspiring.
Fabulous estate sales! Especially the last one! That bedroom was absolutely spectacular! As you said, it looked almost mid evil century. Thanks for taking us along!
Is the name crown molding up at the ceiling?in the castle? Because i do love that look and i know it by that ,i could be wrong tho .i love that type of stuff and the round ones that lites fit in on the ceilings
Yay Danni was first. Intresting chess set. Wow that was an awesome sale. Enjoyed seeing rich peoples things. The second one was pretty fab too. 🥰shell belle takes pictures of things she wants to bid on at an auction.
That first house no words. The place was FANTASTIC the art just do wonderful. The second place. Loved it, love castles so much. You all get some great house designs out in Vegas. Love everything you picked up. Have fun with the online auction. Can't wait to see what you get
Just finished watching this on my TV…OMG! Your taste in furniture is exactly how I would decorate my castle, if I had one! I have gotten a few pieces like that on day 3 of an estate sale for literally pennies on the dollar, like you said! Brilliant video! Thank you!
Frank lloyd Right was from Richland Center Wisconsin. House on the Rock in Richland Center was made by an Architect competitor who couldn't stand his arrogance. I went to house on the rock. All about nature. The place is something to see. Largest collections of antiques anywhere. From Carved Whale bones, Antique pistols, handmade ships, Shop displays not seen anywhere else, huge industrial distillery salvage from Wisconsin. It takes many days to see this amazing place. Frank lloyd Wrongs houses here in Wisconson leak and need constant repair.
I get what you are saying, but Frank Lloyd Wright was a visionary. The competitor was using his vision as a starting point. That's always easier than coming up with something altogether new. Also - I was at one of Wright's homes and yes - the leaks, etc., are real. But he used these places as concept laboratories. He never stopped adding and changing things so he could see what would work for his paying customers, who also knew what they were getting into. Living in a piece of art can take a bit of maintenance. BOTH Wright and the other guy can be praised for their achievements.
🌷🌷🌷oh my, those Dutch playing cards ?? Gerrit Rietveld .. would be awsome overhere , rich but no airco ... oh dear uhmm no his and hers i think in front or the back .. oh my😅😂

The Castle was beautiful, but the first house was my favorite. Beautiful art pieces, especially the glass!
I liked the first one too but some of the furniture in the castle was fabulous

What beautiful homes....and stuff. In the castle, in the bathroom, there is a toilet and a bidet.
I love that I see things I would never see on your channel. Today was amazing. Thank you.
Well that was magical Danni!!! Thanks for taking me along today… I’m looking forward to seeing what you bid on (and win) 🤭🙏🎶💕
Spectacular estates! What a privilege to view gorgeous art, furniture, pottery and glass. I hope you let us know if you won any of those auctions.
It's amazing how much stuff we all acquire temporarily.
Some stuff is just more expensive.
In the bathroom you viewed, one was a toilet the other was a bidet! And not”his and hers” toilets.
Jaw dropping! Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks for another fabulous video complete with a pep talk!❤❤❤❤❤❤
It wasn’t two toilets but one was a bidet, you see them in bathrooms in Europe
Yes your so right Danni we only get 1 life an it’s so precious ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧

There’s a toilet and a bidet. Once you have a bidet, you can’t live without one.
I was flipping between yes and no ,maybe this is my answer!
Oh yeah!!
Just got one recently. So nice😉🦋
