You popped in my newsfeed and I'm glad I watched. I love thrift videos. I am not a reseller but I love to thrift. I got a great haul yesterday in two thrift stores. My loves are brass, teapots, and wood. I just subscribed. Looking forward to catching up on your older videos. That's the beauty of thrifting, nothing goes out of style.
I think I owned each of those cottage books at one time. I used to live in a townhouse in the suburbs and did a lot of dreaming about living somewhere else. We ended up buying a home built in the 40's with coved ceilings, original woodwork, arched doorways between the front door and LR and the LR and the DR and the DR and the kitchen. The bathroom was remodeled so no longer original, other than the corner cabinet/closet and the kitchen was also redone. It's not a cottage, but it has a fireplace and an addon that we call the cabin because it has shiplap paneling in it. (technically, a 3 season porch but more like a room, than a porch) And in a small town, around 5000 people. You got a lot of really nice things today. You have the magic touch.
If you do go back towards the Willows theres a really neat place in Oxford so not too much further that I think you really would like call Route 26 Antiques. They have quite a bit of things like you sell so def a place I'd recommend for you. It kinda reminds me of Elmers Barn vibes
Sam, I appreciate the gentleness of your voice & demeanor. Thanks for sharing your finds in a way that’s so easy on the ears & so wholesome overall!
Aww that is so sweet thank you for saying that!
