Hi Everyone! My name is Andi Jenkins and I’m a chai-fueled thrifter, vintage reseller and interior stylist. All Put Together is where I share my latest thrift hauls and styling tips. Thank you for re-sharing your mastectomy video. I wasn't aware of your surgery but applaud you for sharing your journey publicly. My mother died of ovarian cancer when I was quite young, so I've did the BRCA testing (thankfully negative) and I encourage women to have it done. Oh, and of course, thank you for the haul video! Great stuff. You definitely should keep the carved woman's torso!

Good to know the brass vases like that are slowing down. I'm just getting started and have a few that I need to go ahead and list. Of course I have no idea what's going to sell for me anyway. I finally put a line in the sand yesterday and said

The return address labels that you find on pieces may not be the name/address of the maker, but rather that of a previous owner. My mom used to do that to some of the artwork she owned. The label you showed up close is definitely one of the free labels you get in the mail from some charity or another.

It's so funny to see things that I've liked for years, become trendy. I have some boxes and carved wood decor that I need to stain and lacquer to put up on my Etsy, once I figure out how to fix my computer so that I can download photos from my computer to my Etsy, and it's driving me crazy. I had to set my computer to factory settings last time. :/ Anyway. That oval mirror has burl wood, which burl is a knot in the tree that creates that desirable grain pattern.

This haul was so fab! I impulsively bought the painted brass vase since it's just so unique and beautiful. (I'm the queen of late night impulsive buys lol). I love so much of what you pick up, especially the brass, and I knew I would have been heartbroken if someone else bought this one.

We only have Goodwill’s to thrift and they are literally either bare or broken junk….you have it good in Oregon!
