I miss Portobello Road Market so much! About 15 years ago I picked up an 1830s map of the Lake District which showed the village where my father was born/grew up -- it was a gift for my older brother, who hasn't had the chance to visit England yet.
Thank you so much Sinead!! I am absolutely in love with all The Vintage shops. The food looked incredible. I can only imagine how wonderful it smelled.
Oh I loved this Sinead. That Victorian looking gothic black velvety jacket that was hanging up high was GORGEOUS! Loved you ring as well and that record store is amazing!

Omg. I am dieing here with all those coats and jackets from the vintage shops and jewelry of course!. I didn't imagine that there was a whole street. ❤❤❤❤❤
I was most apprehensive about watching this video. Last time on a " black Friday " episode I saw a hat I wanted. This is pure torment...I love it.💓 Its the old records that is killing me. I have my original Beatles and Rolling Stones albums. Sigh. Oh Neal Young..." Heart of Gold".
Sinead, You can only guess my surprise when I finally found our Westminster Tour group and saw it was actually You giving the tour. Your as wonderful live as you are on RUclips. 100k is on the horizon. All the best and maybe I will get lucky and see you on another tour in May/June. Thanks Again James ( New York )😉
Wow I could spend hours shopping in those store. I'd be all day just in the record stores. Thank you for showing this to us. Wish I lived in in London.

Thank you for this wonderful video Sinead!! I loved all those independent shops. I could spend hours in them, and spend so much money. When I go to your beautiful country, these places will be on my list. Thanks again.Take care ❤️❤️🇨🇦
Hiya Sinead, that was fun. I have a few vintage pieces my fave is a long fitted, black velvet, silk lined coat with an extremely large hood. I paid $20.00 cdn yes I pretty much ran out of the shop as I thought surely there must be a price error missing a 0 or2 lol Also my leather motorcycle jacket I guess now would be vintage as it’s 30 years old and I still wear it when we go out on the Harley, lol take care Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝

Delightful to see Sinead enjoying herself "off duty" as they say just having a bit of fun like the rest of us. I've been to Portobello but it was never this interesting. I'm a bit of a 'thrifter' myself and enjoy snatching up vintage men's attire.
The RUclips algorithm has ‘found you’ for me A relative of mine over 45 years ago lived in Hackney and worked Brick Lane Market and had stall with Antiques when it was very lucrative with genuine antiques from house clearances - ceramics, paintings and 19th century stuff etc Then he moved to Notting Hill around 35 years ago and has a stall on Portobello Market - antiques again but the market has somewhat changed - more retro and vintage like 50’s stuff - angle poise lamps that can fetch £hundreds My house is full of vintage, retro and clothes and decorative items 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴😀😀👍 👍 ❤️❤️
Hey Sinead you just popped up on my RUclips feed, I love the stores you showed especially the huge underground market in Bricklane how do you get there thanks for the detailed directions to Nottinghill can you detail how to get to Bricklane markets thanks
Hi, how are you? I'm doing well. Awesome live shopping video. I enjoyed it. I shop at a mall called Square One mall in Mississauga, Ontario. When I was in England on vacation years ago. I went shopping with my grandparents at the British Home Store, Mark's Spencers. And Asda store I can't remember the other British Stores. It was back in the 1990s. Have you ever been to Canada? We have lots of great stores and shopping malls. Have a great day see you next video 😀 greetings from Canada
@@ToursbyFootLondon I didn't know the British Home Store went out of business years ago. I went to that store back in 1999 before the millennium came. Thanks for telling me
Do you ever see hat boxes at these markets? Like the round vintage style travel hat boxes? I’m coming to London soon & would love to know where to go to get one?! 😊
