Go shopping with Sinead? YES, PLEASE. More fun than I've had in months, my girl. Thanks a ton.
Glad you liked this one, Karen!
Next time I’m in London, I’ve got so many new places to check out, THANK YOU Sinead 🙏
Glad we're going to keep you busy over here, Cin!
Thanks for showing us all these beautiful stores! Omg I would've been in that bookstore for hours. 😍
We are in the same boat, Allie! So many books, so little time...
I miss Portobello Road Market so much! About 15 years ago I picked up an 1830s map of the Lake District which showed the village where my father was born/grew up -- it was a gift for my older brother, who hasn't had the chance to visit England yet.
What an excellent gift!
Your enthusiasm is contagious!! Thanks

This is my chance.
Much thanks 🫖 🇺🇸 ❣️ 🇬🇧
Thank you so much Sinead!! I am absolutely in love with all The Vintage shops. The food looked incredible. I can only imagine how wonderful it smelled.
Margaret definitely had to make a snack while she was editing that part!
I was most apprehensive about watching this video. Last time on a " black Friday " episode I saw a hat I wanted. This is pure torment...I love it.💓 Its the old records that is killing me. I have my original Beatles and Rolling Stones albums. Sigh. Oh Neal Young..." Heart of Gold".
Oh the list of things we wanted to buy grew as we were editing this one!
Fantastic as per usual.
With the best guide in town.
Thanks for your continued support :)
The RUclips algorithm has ‘found you’ for me
A relative of mine over 45 years ago lived in Hackney and worked Brick Lane Market and had stall with Antiques when it was very lucrative with genuine antiques from house clearances - ceramics, paintings and 19th century stuff etc
Then he moved to Notting Hill around 35 years ago and has a stall on Portobello Market - antiques again but the market has somewhat changed - more retro and vintage like 50’s stuff - angle poise lamps that can fetch £hundreds
My house is full of vintage, retro and clothes and decorative items
🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴😀😀👍 👍 ❤️❤️
Your house sounds right upper street, Joanne! Glad you found us :)
I would just live to spend a week or two going g to every vintage shop there I would be in heaven

Congrats on almost reaching 100k subs! It'll happen shortly and it's well deserved! 🥂
Great video. I like it all the time too. 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Hiya Sinead, that was fun. I have a few vintage pieces my fave is a long fitted, black velvet, silk lined coat with an extremely large hood. I paid $20.00 cdn yes I pretty much ran out of the shop as I thought surely there must be a price error missing a 0 or2 lol Also my leather motorcycle jacket I guess now would be vintage as it’s 30 years old and I still wear it when we go out on the Harley, lol take care Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝
Oh I loved this Sinead. That Victorian looking gothic black velvety jacket that was hanging up high was GORGEOUS! Loved you ring as well and that record store is amazing!
So pleased you liked this one, Ann!
Omg. I am dieing here with all those coats and jackets from the vintage shops and jewelry of course!. I didn't imagine that there was a whole street. ❤❤❤❤❤

Delightful to see Sinead enjoying herself "off duty" as they say just having a bit of fun like the rest of us. I've been to Portobello but it was never this interesting. I'm a bit of a 'thrifter' myself and enjoy snatching up vintage men's attire.
Glad you enjoyed this one, Al :)
You can never have too many coats Sinead! 🎉
Agreed, Miss Kitty!
Thanks
I love you Sinead! I’ll be in London in May and planning to book a tour

@@FreeToursbyFootLondon I thank you Sinead. On one of these tours, I was watching so intently that when I sneezed, I asked you to excuse me! And I'm 5,500 miles west of London!
I can't wait to get back to London this spring. I will for sure be buying some vintage heavy metal vinyl albums 😃
Come see us, Nils!

Hi, how are you? I'm doing well. Awesome live shopping video. I enjoyed it. I shop at a mall called Square One mall in Mississauga, Ontario. When I was in England on vacation years ago. I went shopping with my grandparents at the British Home Store, Mark's Spencers. And Asda store I can't remember the other British Stores. It was back in the 1990s. Have you ever been to Canada? We have lots of great stores and shopping malls. Have a great day see you next video 😀 greetings from Canada
Can't go wrong with M&S, Michelle! British Home Stores recently went out of business, sadly.
@@FreeToursbyFootLondon I didn't know the British Home Store went out of business years ago. I went to that store back in 1999 before the millennium came. Thanks for telling me
❤❤❤
Hey Sinead you just popped up on my RUclips feed, I love the stores you showed especially the huge underground market in Bricklane how do you get there thanks for the detailed directions to Nottinghill can you detail how to get to Bricklane markets thanks
Very close to Liverpool Street Station or on the other end Aldgate East Station
Have you done Fridays at potabello?
Is it truly vintage if it's a repro?
"Vintage-ish"? ;)
👍
Do you ever see hat boxes at these markets? Like the round vintage style travel hat boxes? I’m coming to London soon & would love to know where to go to get one?! 😊
Every so often you can spot one in Portobello or Brick Lane! Fingers crossed you find one :)
What time does this usually start / open?
Usually 10am to about 5
Best days are Friday Saturday and Sunday
Sinead

Are there thrift stores there? we have thrift stores like goodwill and stuff, those are fun too.
Yes! We have them here, run by different charities. You can find some real hidden gems sometimes!
@@FreeToursbyFootLondon I would love to see some of those. I love thrifting here in the States.
