Hi Pete and thanks for a marvelous 5 minutes of RC FUN! Looks like you guys had a real blast out there with these trucks and got some seriously awesome footage. Love the mix of camera angles and on board footage, it amazes me how smooth the images are at those high speeds! Now these things are in a different league to anything I've ever driven. Hiya matey. Yeah it is great to have a go of these expensive RC beasts without actually buying them. They are indeed in a different league to a Tamiya but I still love those too. It's great that there is such variety in the hobby. The GoPro 8 and now the 10 are pretty impressive with the image stabilisation like you say. We are just enjoying a weekend away in Exmouth with Saran's family. A few drinks have been drunk and been enjoying the weather. Cheers for your comments. Hope you are ok matey. 😅 Seen a lot of videos with RC cars and dogs, but this is the first time I’ve seen horses, with an opinion about RC cars. I like their view on Traxxas. Anyways, lovely video. Very entertaining and very informative at the same time. Perfect job Pete!

Thanks for showing Pete. For me the UDR is closer on the original but the Mojave performes better on the run. So it's a question of being a driver or mechanic😉
Hi there. Yeah I think if you have the UDR you need to be keen on the tinkering. Seems like you need to undo an awful lot of screws to change anything. @@PeteWylieRC Cheers mate! I ended up ordering a ARRMA Mojave 4s in white and red because I really like the paint design. Plus it's cool the 4s comes with a wheelie bar and the parts are not as expensive as the 6s 😀

Hiya John. Yeah those horses knew a surprising amount about RC cars. These are absolute beasts of RC's for sure and it was great to blast them around. That would be great if you do get that camera. Great filming as always! I have a cheap ftx Zorro brushless it really is fast on 3s but I soon realized that I don't like short course as they keep rolling and it seems to spend more time on roof than wheels??? Maybe if I tried a decent brand it might be better??? Anyway those ones looked very cool and thanks for your upload mate 👍🙏🐈
Hi there. Yeah I did have that issue with my Senton until I lowered it a bit. It drives more like a rally car now which I prefer. I think that the truggy style of RC is best as they are wide so don't tip over so much. Just depends what you want I guess but it's good to try all the different types. Have you looked at the team associated sc10 sct.? Brushless/ tough and handle fantastic. The traxxas slash is also another one I’ve enjoyed driving . They are better on loose stuff I find .
Another great vid. Fortunate to have both (I got rid of the Senton and a couple of other cars to help fund both 2nd hand purchases via eBay). I absolutely love both and use them on bumpy dusty ground and grass in the park. Keeping them on 50% (Mojave) and ‘Training Mode’ (UDR) keeps things manageable/fast enough but still huge fun. A massive step forwards in looks/drivability from 1/10 scale. So much so that I don’t need anything else. Well, apart from my Axial Yeti Trophy which completes the triumvirate.
Ah that's interesting to know. I guess you don't need many RC's if you've got a couple that you really love. I don't know why but I don't mind spending a load of cash on a few RC's but I've never bought one of these really big ones. One thing is the size of the desk that I use to work on them. Hi Pete, It’s only a short walk to the park from my abode but, yes indeed, they are heavy! I guess that’s also a reason why I love them though - the whole scale thing is impressive, especially with the UDR. I hate to say it but most everything else just looks like a ‘toy’ now. These look and mean business. That’s a great location you have there BTW.
Have driven a UDR but not a Mojave. The UDR i drove was kitted out a lot of Vitavon parts and it was a hoot to drive. Personally i prefer the UDR for scale looks.

Nice video, thanks for not making it 25 minutes long like everybody else! I'm a little bit like the horses, I don't like Traxxas but I really want a UDR. I also have a 3S Senton, is the Mojave just a larger version of the Senton in how it drives and handles?
Oh yes Traxxas do make some good stuff but me and the horses can't forgive them for some of the things they've done. Yeah the Mojave is a bigger heavier Senton really. To be honest it's slightly terrifying at full speed because you imagine the damage it would do if it hit a person or creature. I'll stick with my 3s I think. Many thanks for your comments 😀
Awesome run Pete, I'll pick an Arrma over a traxass any day, faster or not. Both did handle really good, sure, the T has the looks but the A has footing (see what I did there, T & A, LOL). Great video my friend!!!!
They look fantastic and I’ve a soft spot for the realism of the udr . But a bit pricey for me . The horses are great . I think they probably had it pegged tbh . That one sniffing the mojave is Barry . In his say he often win theROAR championships with his custom grasshopper. 🤷♂️true story dat. !

I've put an Arrma ESC in and am planning to run it 3s. I'm expecting breakage but I guess that at least you can still get the bits for it!
