This is the first run I've seen of the new Mojave online....and I've been watching close. She sure doesn't disappoint.... and yes just what I expected ....FASTER.

Getting mine in the morning. I think I'll post first run footage, but I don't like one hand driving and want to just enjoy the first run. However it'll only be on 3S because I haven't bought a 4S battery yet 😅
As both a Mojave and UDR owner, I say that it’s tough to compare the two. They’re my two absolute favorite rigs but they serve two entirely different purposes. The Mojave is for driving like a maniac and beating the crap out of it. UDR is for slower, more technical driving where you can enjoy the scale realism it gives. My 2 cents.
@@JohnDoe302I obviously am not very serious. The UDR is awesome. One of the best looking trucks out there. However all round independent suspension is always going to be superior at handling. And as far as the Mojave goes, they managed to make it look realistic pretty good suspension wise. Indeed not as realistic as the UDR but decent.
@@techspac3 I went with the blue/red... I already have the 6S Mojave RTR & the 6S Mojave EXB. I love stadium trucks with Independent suspension. The new Baja Rey is tempting me tho. I just hate the traction rolling on solid axle trucks.

Best Father’s Day gift ever! 🥰 I had to thank Jesus. I didn’t even run the stock gearing, I just slapped a 25t pinion on 6s and this thing almost wheelie’s like my 4x4 slash.

Thanks for watching and the sub. I use a DJI Action 2 Camera with a Tilta Case. I then mount it onto the cars with standard go pro mounts. Works like charm...well mostly lol😬
He doesn't use an FPV system, He just straps a camera to the cars. So you are watching just the DVR of a DJI A2 ...I've bought this up with him before, but insists its FPV. Whatever lol

With a decent 100c Lipo, You should be getting bang on 60 mph - Those batt packs you're using could do with replacing. 45c? They are for Aircraft etc.. 100c burst is the standard for speed runs mate. Great driving btw.
THAT has to be the COOLEST track for doing speed runs!! The speed and power we're getting out of today's brushless setups and batteries is just amazing. Check out Kevin Talbot, as he figured out some way to ride it on 2 wheels. (not a wheelie)

I’m going to probably get the 4S model but I love my Mojave 6s it’s incredibly powerful I need new wheels my rears have no traction. You gotta get a Fireteam it’s also a Beast that is very good at catching some air including big air.
I really wanted to get a Fire Team i have been for a while now...just cant get myself to pull the trigger as i cant decide between it and the Felony as they are both wanted cars for me but cost the same and not gonna get both....so havent got either yet....maybe ill wait for a V2 of each😉

How are you getting sound with your FPV? You must be using an analog unit with sound? I really want a solution for digital and cant seem to find a solution. On the ground audio is important.

Ill look into the DJI but what is on Amazon dont offer sound and it sounds like they are doing away with it for Drones. Bad timing because I think FPV is going to get more popular especially with these trucks as it makes larger coarses a possibility.

Its difficult to say....right now i enjoy the 6s better. But there also might be a new 6s coming in couple of months...hmmm? The 4s is brand new now...hard to say as they are both fantastic machines
@@techspac3 Exactly my thoughts Arrma is concentrating on the 4s with all these new releases and of course i want them all lol I think Arrma will come out with whole new line of 6s models very soon. i honestly am so new to this that i dont know how 4s and 6s differences are. Most rc enthusiast tell me you get more with the 6s versions and they are more durable but they are also more costly. i am going to get the max v2 as it is a basher and can take punishment. Ill probably just wait for my 4s mojave to be sent to me and then next year the new 6s models should be out and by then ill be ready to jump into the 6s world lol

Ohh I like the Velodrome speed run category... NASCAR / INDY style... but handling and speed combined... looks like it might be fun FPV too... you could get proper stabilization in something the size of the mojave.

Hey mate ill be honest, to get Rlaarlo in NZ is just to expensive. No one sells them here and to get them imported touches Arrma and Traxxas money, so not something i will look at unless other options thay makes it cheaper becomes available👍🏻
I suspect.the 4s motor is a much higher KV rating hey? I'll be grabbing a 6s version soon, at the moment I'm running a 2wd slash on 4s with a castle 4 pole motor which is good for 106kph before it flips
The slash at 106kph is not bad as ive seen most flip them at around 49-54mph. The 6s Mojave is an absolute beast. I am currently editing a 4s vs 6s extreme bash test at an abandoned construction yard...maybe wait for that one to decide....it was ruthless non the less🤣
Planned but might not be a comparison video. The centre diff in the 6s blew. Dont know when ill have time to fix it if im honest. Will just be a 4s dirt bash👍🏻
Yes it surely does slow it down. I have seen in my Vendetta 20t vs 26t video it makes quite a difference. But i love that FPV footage. Thanks for watching
At least! That thing sticks up about a mile! Also it fell off of the 4S right away and you did that 50mph speed run without it...Less drag, less weight!...
My mojave exb has by far been my favorite RC and most durable. I pick it over my xmaxx, widemax, krayton, ex. almost evertime. Max 6 combo and 24t pinion with some pro line belted tires. Mine runes mid 70s
@techspac3 they still work, but I can tell one of them is definitely on its way out. When I get wheels and tires I plan to change all the diffs out with them
On 4s it does the same as my factory senton blx in 3s so I find the Mojave 4s useless either get the senton or get the 6s Mojave I have both and see no need in this new 4s chassis.
Speedwise it might be better but i think its better in every other way than the 3s Senton. From what ive seen online that is, ive never had the 3s Blx Senton. The 4s Mojave drives incedible.
Well remember the 4s Is More light that the 6s and if you want speed.. buy the arrma infraction 6s so some mods try the castle creations XXL 8s system with the gears from the arrma limitless and you see . Cause remember this is a basher not a race car.🤷🏻 I just said
Holy crap dude! Horrible driving spot. Next time, you should stand dead middle of the track, all the way at the far end. Your visibility should be much better there, perhaps crashing a bit more racing yourself......and don't use the track for top speed as designed it's a oval with large banks

Great video 😊 you should do a speed comparison with the optional speed pinions installed on both trucks, I have a 6s mojave and I love it, more torque in the 6s vs more rpm’s in the 4s.

I have the mojave 6s blx. On 2 3s 5000mah 50c batteries, I got it up to 53 mph. With the high speed pinion I got it up to 62 mph.

@@techspac3 Oh crap!! Yeah i was thinking usually if the pinion came loose it would make that same noise but wouldn't move so was stumped. So was it the case that broke? Time to get a aluminum hot racing or others aluminum upgrade! 👌🏼

Hey mate ill be honest, to get Rlaarlo in NZ is just to expensive. No one sells them here and to get them imported touches Arrma and Traxxas money, so not something i will look at unless other options thay makes it cheaper becomes available👍🏻

I'll be grabbing a 6s version soon, at the moment I'm running a 2wd slash on 4s with a castle 4 pole motor which is good for 106kph before it flips
The slash at 106kph is not bad as ive seen most flip them at around 49-54mph. The 6s Mojave is an absolute beast. I am currently editing a 4s vs 6s extreme bash test at an abandoned construction yard...maybe wait for that one to decide....it was ruthless non the less🤣

The gopro on there slows it down and adds drag thus makeing the speed about 2mph slower.
Yes it surely does slow it down. I have seen in my Vendetta 20t vs 26t video it makes quite a difference. But i love that FPV footage. Thanks for watching
At least! That thing sticks up about a mile! Also it fell off of the 4S right away and you did that 50mph speed run without it...Less drag, less weight!...

My mojave exb has by far been my favorite RC and most durable. I pick it over my xmaxx, widemax, krayton, ex. almost evertime. Max 6 combo and 24t pinion with some pro line belted tires. Mine runes mid 70s

On 4s it does the same as my factory senton blx in 3s so I find the Mojave 4s useless either get the senton or get the 6s Mojave I have both and see no need in this new 4s chassis.
Speedwise it might be better but i think its better in every other way than the 3s Senton. From what ive seen online that is, ive never had the 3s Blx Senton. The 4s Mojave drives incedible.
Well remember the 4s Is More light that the 6s and if you want speed.. buy the arrma infraction 6s so some mods try the castle creations XXL 8s system with the gears from the arrma limitless and you see . Cause remember this is a basher not a race car.🤷🏻 I just said

So the 4s goes as fast or faster as the 6s and uses less battery power. I'll take the 4s.

Holy crap dude! Horrible driving spot. Next time, you should stand dead middle of the track, all the way at the far end. Your visibility should be much better there, perhaps crashing a bit more racing yourself......and don't use the track for top speed as designed it's a oval with large banks

Great video 😊 you should do a speed comparison with the optional speed pinions installed on both trucks, I have a 6s mojave and I love it, more torque in the 6s vs more rpm’s in the 4s.
