@@rachelg4695 have you seen the Arrma granite 3s V3? Seems to be a little more durable than the hoss, with a LOT lower price point (around 300$)

Had the same problem with wheels coming off and hex rounding out on mine. You need the M2C racing hex adapters, they space the wheel out so they don't rub in the suspension and have 2 nuts to keep it from coming loose
I rounded my stock Mojave wheels too so I'll take a look at the M2C adapters. Cheers

Cheaper out of the box compared to RTR but you aint done configuring so really it costs way more.

On the 5ive -t the starters do that when they get crud/sand under the little spring loaded arms inside the starter mech. Run an outerwear to prevent.
Killer run there with the EXB Mojave. Great choices and rundown on electrics. Tough luck on the servo, I just started using them too and hoping for better luck. The truck looks super fun, I might pick one up.
I see your tires kept coming off, I think M2C had a solution for that, don't know why that's an issue with the truck. You proper gave it a bashing Kev..... Do your thing brother!

I didn't have good luck with that servo either. Mine had a lot of slop before it would hold at the home position. When you apply force to it, it would rotate about 1/8 of a turn before holding. Made driving with it really sketchy as 1/8 turn is a lot at the wheels.

I have one, I've taken total of 60mph head on crashes (I was going top speed on the brushed version, my brother was going 30 with his brushless swapped LaTrax Teton) and his front end blew up, and the pinion and spur mesh was messed up on mine. That was literally all that happened, and an easy fix, too. 2 screws.

I broke my EXB body mounts landing it on its roof, on grass... from about 5ft. They have a revised set coming out soon. Overall though what a machine! Get a Max6 in that thing!

I still have my original Arrma Fury. Converted to castle brushless 3800 sct on 2s. I have only broken a few chassis parts. Its very well built.

I've seen a lot of videos where people tear up the diffs on the EXBs. I thought they were sposed to be better. Either way, I feel like the regular Mojave would be the better choice. As far as the 5ive T pull start, that must be a flook or a pull start put together at closing time on a Friday. Could also be a rock stuck in the throw out bearing/spring. Either way, the pullstarts are cheap.
Looks very very nice and took the jumps very well! Good compromise between scale look, handling and durability. Also easy to work on 👍👍👍 How about making a direct comparison video ?? 😘 to UK

M2c makes a esc plate that bolts down to the chassis and the max 5 and 6 will bolt to the esc plate. Works great!

Awesome vid. Im still running my zd racing pirates 3 1/8. got around 30 hours on it and only problem to date are lost a couple screws "replaced easily" and soon I will have to replace some connection cups specifically the center ones. not sure if they cheaped out on the metal on these things but only 30 hours and they are chewed up from the Tbone shafts lol. cheap fix but wish there was a higher quality cup i could use from a different truck or model that would fit this truck.

Orange locktite on wheel hexes. I was having trouble with all arrmas shredding rims new. Orange is as strong as red needs no heat to remove
Enjoying the vids Kev. For the sake of perspective, no RC car is really designed to take the punishment those repeated long/high jumps dish out, so they are doing quite well really.

@kevin Talbot how did you set your shocks up? Im struggling to find a good setting for the tension screw
Kev u gotta put lock tight on the screw in the drive shaft going from the dif to the knuckle like in the shaft if u look there’s a tiny screw it takes a size 2.0 hex but lock tight that and the wheel shouldn’t fall off after that!

Put some scratches on the back of your hex wheel nuts with a file, grinder, or rough sandpaper. The back of the nut will then grip the wheel when it's tight and prevent it from coming loose.
