Honestly I'd just buy a Mojave exb put kraton arms and axles on and for the most part you have a fireteam. I don't like the fireteam body either but mine I built the yeti xl body fits great and much better looking than the fireteam

Hey Kev! Love the videos. Been following for years! I’ve made several Rc purchases based off your advice! Keep bashing brother! I do have a small request though. Can you please stop saying “JESUS” as an exclamation. As a Christian, I find this use of my Saviors name offensive. I would love it if you would also stop saying “O MY GOD” but I realize that is a reach. I care about you brother. This life is temporary and eternity is quite a bit longer speaking relatively. Jesus said in John 14, “ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”.

The Proline Jeep Pickup truck body is good for Arrma and traxxas. . But in general keep in mind Arrma bodies like the kraton is not a full body . Having no tail gate ending at the bed of the truck
Well colour me impressed. It goes well and looks really cool as a truck. Handled the abuse well too, I think those are the kind of breakages that happen with this level of bashing.

agreed. I like guns just don't like them on the truck would have much preferred 4x utv riders in MX looking gear/helmets.
As an American the 2nd Admendment is a big part of my families way of life. I am a 2A supporter all day everyday but the stock body with them cheesy dudes just looks like a kids toy. I have never even considered the fireteam RC because of its looks. the custom fitted truck body is a 100x improvement.

This channel got me back into the RC hobby after 20 years away from the hobby. I recently picked up a few buggy's from this channel for my 7 yr old son and myself. We have been having a blast everyday. In January we're getting some drift RC cars! Can't wait. I feel I'm reliving my childhood and my son is living it for the first time seeing the excitement on his face when he throttles it is worth every penny.
Pretty curious about how well carbon fiber would do for a chassis material...I have some cloth from a previous project, and an Arrma Notorious, might just have to give it a try...
I think it'll be awesome because you can make it quite thick and still be as light or lighter than aluminum. A 10mm plate of well made carbon fiber will be incredibly tough. I was thinking an injection molded carbon composite would be excellent, but the tooling would make it expensive for low production numbers.
CF is pretty popular in the racing world where every gram matters, but sending CF like Kev does will absolutely destroy it

Titanium being light weight depends on perspective. Its lighter than steel but much heavier than aluminum 🤷♂️
And much heavier than plastic
Proline 3536-17 Ram rebel 1500. Is an amazing looking body for those longer RC’s. I have used that body on quite a few different RC’s from Kraton XL ,Mojave, E Revo Talion exb and s few others. Definitely one of my favorite go to bodies. Awesome video

I’m a little curious why you just don’t wash it with Dawn dish soap instead of actually sanding it. All you’re trying to do is get rid of the releasing agent on the inside of the plastic really no need to sand it
He’s ruffing up the plastic so the paint sticks better
The rc community has gone from covering plastic parts in hot glue and resin to replacing them with STRAIGHT UP JEWELRY and I love it

Absolutely love your channels kev. At first it was hard to watch, what with all the destruction, but I soon got the method to your madness which made viewing easier. I've had my xtm rail nitro since 2012. There was a time when I ruined it. It went flying through a Halfords ďoor window at full throttle one night when it got out of range. i rebuilt it shortly after that incident. Sounds stupid but I'm scared to take it out in case it gets away from me again. I replaced the transmitter and receiver. All new futaba servos. New chasis etc etc etc. Brand new fastrax ENDURO 21 engine. The garden will have to do until I get one of those hump packs you showed. Huge love and respect.
Kev you should upgrade your wltoys k989 or the wltoys 184131 to the max with banggood special parts.(If you have time😄)
though i must say chassis made out of titanium really surprised me; people will buy anything, but if you can afford to waste this much cash then who cares i guess ;

I don’t know about the bodies the bug is too round for it the others are too square
But though I don’t think the body you chose is the best it’s not bad and you did an excellent job with cosmetics just a little touching up around the edges

Kev, now you really need to put on some proline mx38 badlands, beltes or non belted and use 1/2 inch offset

The body you chose looks stupid on it, wheelbase is way to short and arches are no where near centered over the axles.

You missed a killer opportunity for an April fools day video: "Today, I learn how to tune a nitro!". Lol for real though. the kids love your videos, but after seeing them.. your nitro videos really hurt to watch. You play with these for a living and a lot of people are watching. Don't discourage people from nitro just because you don't know about them. JQ racing has a great video on how the engines work and how to get the fuel mixture right through the whole rpm range including idle. The harder you make it look, the less kids will give it a chance

I have to say that's a helluva paint job, Kevin you sir have some crazy good skills with creativity and upgrades. When you first started I wasn't sure and I'll be damn if you didn't pull it all together and made a great ride out of an already pretty badass tc. Major props to you and I'll not doubt you again lol

HEY!! Hi Kevin I was just watching through your vids and I saw the snowboard rc car and how it was breaking a lot. So I had the idea of you make a second version of it but you use a long board deck and two XMAXX trucks and make the ultimate long jump/all around beast!!!
Kev please finish up old builds before you start new ones all the time, eventually you're going to have a huge pile of un-finished rcs that will be more intimidating and stressful to finish all at once. 👍 Love the build videos.

Great video Kev. Shot at my local skate park. Watching your video's got me into this hobby. Still bit of a newb but bought an Armma Granite BLX and absolutely love it
With the new magnum R 272 transmission like the drag slash but it don’t have lunch control I’m disappointed but that’s ok. I can swap out another tqi controller with the trans brake switch to make it lunch control to lunch the buggy and it will hit 70mph in 3 seconds
