@@gabriellangford2730 Seems he's going for views with some of his weird titles lately. Maybe he is a Traxxas fanboy, but if so it's because he has such a great experience with his Traxxas models. I can really see why when watching his videos. He started his channel only making videos of him building and beating X-maxxes. He learned all of the weaknesses and solved them and then he launches those things 50ft in the air and they just don't break. He never was trying to convince anybody or anything like that when he started the channel. Then he gets his Arrma and has to replace every aluminum part with expensive upgraded aluminum parts, spending well over $1000 on a 1/8 6s model when he spent the same on a larger Traxxas 8s and enjoyed more. He then makes videos showing the Arrmas weaknesses and him fixing it, just like he did with the X-maxx for years, and all of a sudden he's a Traxxas fanboy. IDK, you decide, but I think Traxxas has truly earned his respect. Also his first ever favorite basher was a nitro HPI Savage.
We should all be grateful that both exist. And Losi, and Axial, and... because each company pushes the competition to keep improving. My favourite buggy is my DBXL-E 2.0. Trophy Truck is the UDR. Basher, the Kraton EXB. Crawler, the TRX-6. On road, the Felony. We live in a great time for awesome RC’s. Stop bitching about which is better and just enjoy them.
At last someone who truly understands the need for competition and not just trying to get rid of a company because the RCs that brand makes weren't quite right for them. Arrma deserves every fan they have, and Traxxas deserves every fan they have. Both companies have earned their name and the fans that come with it.
This all ignores the crap that Traxxas has pulled in the past. They do work on improving their products, yes, but they also use their money for frivolous lawsuits, patent trolling, and all sorts of foul play that is technically legal, but still hurts competition. They don’t want to let their product stand on its own, they actively try to stifle innovation from other companies. It obviously isn’t 100% effective, but it has definitely caused a lot of problems.
Yep, Traxxas prices are out of control these days, it's going to be a few years yet before they finally come down. I remember buying my first Stampede in 2008 for $125 with a battery and charger. Now the same Stampede with battery and charger is $200.
@@geodude3966 that same item would cost now $150 with inflation in mind so it's realistically actually just jumped $50 and that could be because the parts have improved there's more regulation maybe there's a lot of things that go with it
@@geodude3966 it looks like they just bumped their prices up again in the last few days. $750 Canadian for brushless 4x4 stampede.....that's without battery or charger......ugh......have to be rich to afford.
Traxxas has such a huge parts advantage because alot of the models are still available to purchase. I'm afraid to buy any other brand because I know parts might be hard to find in a few years.
Agreed but according to this video arrma has been around for 14 ish years. Don't think they will disappear on you. Im about to buy a 1/10 vehicle and can't decide between outcast 4s, rival mt10, team corally skeeter, kraton or traxxas maxx
Same. Especially 2wd slash for younger kids. My 6-7 year olds dressed them up how they wanted and we’ve had tons of fun. My Revo talion senton and emaxx keep the wife and I enthused 🤣. True family affair
Having owned/currently own several models from both brands, I would say Traxxas models are definitely more beginner friendly and need less out of the box vs arrma but when properly set up Arrma is better performance for the money.
Got my first Traxxas Bandit back in 1989 when I was only 6 years old. I still remember it costing $202 out the door, with tax, with an extra battery and Hobbico 15 minute charger. My dad hooked me up! I’ll never forget that thing. Sparked a life-long hobby that I’ve let come and go a bit over the years, but I’ll always love.
I've had a Traxxas model in my stable since 1991, they're my go to. I also have Associated, HPI and RedCat. What's important is that we find what works for us and get out there, have fun and support your local hobby shop.
Supporting local is more important than ever because we need to keep them open. What will happen if we don’t? We won’t have a place to go to when we need to!
I've just gotten my first couple Arrma vehicles in the last 2 weeks. A Kraton 6S V5 BLX and a Big Rock V3. Both are awesome. Been out of the hobby for a while. I've been nursing along an old Helion Dominus 10TR. Replaced the motor pinion and spur gear with one from another vehicle that's an approximate fit since the original part can't be found anymore. The Arrmas are great. I did have a Traxxas 1/16 Summit VXL about 8-10 years ago. Was a pretty cool little RC. But I don't see going back to Traxxas unless it was something specific like that. The Summits are pretty cool. I just don't like how proprietary most of their things are. Battery compartments and connectors are very limiting. I tend to think of Traxxas as the iPhone of the RC world and Arrma as Android in a sense.
Yeah I get how Traxxas are kind of limited to what can be used in a Traxxas and their parts and batteries are very expensive too. Where as Arrma are way more performance oriented. Traxxas are sort of political with the way the run Traxxas but they do have a huge range of spares. It's a bit like Apple versus Android isn't it. I don't like what Apple does either. The way Apple runs their company sucks. Android has so much more possibilities.
@@JimBoBJames-no5db Spare parts are MUCH MUCH MUCH more cheaper from traxxas than from arma. Arma 8s frame is well over $100, about 5 times more expensive than a Xmaxx/XRT one. Traxxas may be more expensive for initial purchase, but on the long run it is so much cheaper, not even mentionning it's more durable to begin with. You will bend countless Kraton 8s frames before breaking a Xmaxx one. Its actually quite the opposite.......parts and even upgrades are easier to get on traxxas RC's, although I agree the LiPo's are the exception.
I'm back in the hobby after a long time and amazed at how much has changed. I just picked up a Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL and very happy with it. Charge the battery and found a very large parking lot and I'm hooked again with a big smile!!
Yes I have had only traxxas so far (6 years in the hobby) and everytime i see an arrma or some other sick brand. Im like: damm, why dont i have one of those. LOL I want a craler so bad, Axial here i come
Great video and I've been around in the '80's to see this transition in RC!!! I still love building kits and installing upgrades! I love the fact nowadays these RC vehicles can take just about anything one throws at them without breaking into tiny pieces..!!! Two great brands and proud to support both of them over the years...... Healthy and Happy New Year to all !!!!!!!! Oh and thanks Santa for the Blue 3s Senton....!!!! ;)
As a proud owner of both, I have to say that both brands are worth your money. I prefer my Senton over my Slash in terms of how it drives, however parts and upgrades are so easy to get for the slash. I love both cars and brands.
I just bought my first R/C since the Frogger days and I went with Arrma due to the Spectrum smart system and they seem higher quality. I ended up with the Typhon 6s and am having a blast with it.
@@Lex-Rex thank is great - 30min run time. You don’t know RC’s if your complaining about 30min run times. The 6s has nothing to do with the run time is the KB’s re a 6400 lipo will run longer than a 5000. Dam 30 minutes is great!
I feel this was a very diplomatic video... I would of liked to have seen the pros and cons of both brands in plastic parts durability, electronics, radios and receivers to give a better understanding
Arrma mostly got everything better in parts compare to the same price Traxxas RC. Like I told many Arrma is the Toyota of the RC with a good maintenance while others even with good maintenance its fall apart.
My very first real 1/10 scale R/C car was the OG Traxxas Cat way back in the late 80's. I raced the crap out of that thing before upgrading to a Kyosho Optima Mid and then finally, a Losi JRX-2. Traxxas was an unknown company when I got my Cat. When I returned to the hobby nearly 25 years later, I couldn't believe how much of a dominant force the company has become. It makes me feel like I was a small part of history.
My first RC was a traxxas nitro stampede, my most recent was an arrma 8s outcast. I’ve had several RC’s but those two are the ones that stick out in my mind.
I own both Kraton EXB and the Traxxas Xmax. I'm impressed with both of them. I've been in the game since a little kid. hard to decide which is better, cause there both just as fun..
Traxxas hands down for me!!! But alot of people look at the brands like Chevy vs Ford or Mopar. So it depends on what brand your faithful too in that is traxxas for me.
@@smperkins410 your right traxxas stampede was my first rc car in alot of other guy's first rc car especially if your 30 years old in up like me. It was love at first site when I saw the e-revo in the xmaxx I've tried arrma in there cars are awesome too but I just prefer traxxas over arrma for sentimental in loyalty reasons plus the quality of there product is a+ in my opinion
Nice comparison, thanks!!! I am very new to RC and Amain has been super helpful. I started with a TRX4 Sport at the start of COVID. Followed that with TRX4 4x4 Merc. I saw the Infraction videos and was able to get a V2. That Infraction actually satisfies my need for speed!!! No more speeding tickets :) I really like hiking at a reservation near my house and the Losi Lasernut was a great trail runner. I quickly realized that it's kind of fragile and is not at all a basher. So for bashing I was able to get a Typhon v5, which with some M2C upgrades is super tough and super capable at everything. It just needs the right tires for the task. For me Traxxas support had my TRX4 sport down for 2 weeks to replace an ESC. Losi support by comparison has been super responsive with all the Lasernut issues and has send out all parts that I needed immediately. The Arrma warranty really speaks for itself. So that's really long winded.... I'm glad to have found this hobby. I'm a car guy and I do track day events in my Camaro and my Shelby GLHS. This hobby has really filled the gap for me. And tires are cheap😃 !!!
I just got into rc and I'm 40. ive spent a lot on traxxas vehicles and have no regrets. think I've found my true passion. I now want arrma vehicles as them seem very cool also. if I've learned one thing in my 40 years it's that you shouldn't take life too seriously and you've got to have fun. that's what I'm all about now
I love that traxxas has a lot of upgrade parts available as well as aftermarket parts. 10 people could have the same Traxxas vehicle and each one could be completely different. Unfortunately Arrma just doesn't have that same level of customization available, I would love to see some aftermarket wheels for my felony.
Regarding the wheels, the ARRMA Felony just runs standard 1/8th scale GT-class wheels and tires, which are identical in diameter and hub to 1/8th scale buggy wheels and tires. Anything that'll fit a 17mm hub with a 41.5mm tire width will fit the Felony. It doesn't necessarily have to be specifically made for the car - RC car wheels and tires are standardized just like full-size car wheels and tires.
@@VestedUTuber felony has different front and rear gearing so it needs 2 different sized tires and you can't just grab 2 different sizes and hope it works. If would be easier to have bolt on pre paired tires so you you know they were designed to work together.
@@DirtSailor5 That's not an issue. The ARRMA Felony has an overdriven front end, but the most it will do on aftermarket tires is make the car more tail-happy. IT WILL NOT DAMAGE THE CAR. There are even full-size cars with this setup - the Mercedes CLA 43 AMG has an overdriven front axle, same with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. If you're still worried, you can just swap out the differentials. Replacing the front differential with the rear differential and putting a Typhon front or rear differential in the back will correct the gearing and allow you to run aftermarket wheels without the overdrive effect.
@@VestedUTuber I'm not concerned about damaging the car, drive and performance is my biggest issue. There are plenty of options and work around, I love customizations and changes but I don't link the idea changing the core of the vehicle. The stance, offset and tire sizes were why I went with the felony over the infraction and I don't want to mess with the soul of the RC if that makes sense .
@@DirtSailor5 It won't change it that much. Differential tuning is common in RC racing and if anything, a differential swap would allow the car to drive as though it's stock while running aftermarket tires, whereas simply running aftermarket wheels and tires with the stock setup would make more of a difference due to the front overdrive. But if you just want to complain instead of solving the problem, be my guest.
To be honest, in the racing scene it's still this way. Arrma and Traxxas are more for the bashers. Racers go with the AE, TLR (Losi), Kyosho, Schumacher, Xray, Yokomo etc.

Arrma is great and super simple to work on and super durable. My Revo is fun. My talion and kraton are loads of fun. Senton is comparable to slash 4x4 but even more durable imo. They all have their perks
I have bought 6 traxxas's the past years. I have had tons of problems right out of the box. Especially their nitro models. I could write 4 paragraphs about what has happened. But they do have great parts availability. But for the price you pay for a Traxxas. You shouldn't have problems with the electronics right out of the box. And parts shouldn't fall of your car when you're on your 2nd break in run.....

Yeah the Hoss should've been the Stampede 2.0 for the same price. At $470 no one can justify it compared to the Big Rock at $320. If it was $380 like the Stampede that would be more comparable, since the Hoss has features that the Big Rock doesn't. Traxxas is out of touch with how fast Arrma has caught up lately.
The hoss performs quite a bit better or at least differently than a stampede from what I have seen in person so I don't see them as the same. I have a maxx, summit 1/16 and 2 4-tec 2.0's a ford gt vxl and ford mustang. I find Traxxas selection, features and options much more appealing to me than Arrma though I prefer 1/10 and smaller which Traxxas seem to focus on a little more. Arrma seems to focus on larger scales a bit more and overall is putting up a good fight which I respect.
Amazing video, subbed. Just bought my son a traxxis slash 4x2 for xmas and it has blown me away. Im hooked on them, sussing out a revo2 or kraton 6s for myself now!
Need both to compete with eachother, that's how they stay on top of their game. Usually when one company monopolizes a market they start cutting corners and quality goes down. So in my opinion both are the best
Problem is, Traxxas is so big that they have an effective monopoly. Even though there's other brands, 9 out of 10 cars sold by most hobby stores are Traxxas. If a store doesn't sell a vast majority of Traxxas products, it's usually because they cater to the racing crowd and thus don't carry Traxxas other than the base-model Slash or Bandit and their respective parts if they have a track on-site and run a spec class for one of those two platforms. As a result, Traxxas mostly just sits on their laurels with their cars. They rarely release new models, and when they do it's generally for an entire new vehicle class that they haven't developed for yet. The only existing model they ever fully overhauled in recent times was when they released the MAXX to replace the aging E-MAXX platform. The Bandit platform (referring to all of Traxxas's 1/10th scale 2WD models) has been pretty much identical apart from a few minor updates every now and then, and a modern Bandit XL5 is functionally identical to a Bandit made back when it first replaced the TRX3. Also, anyone else notice that Traxxas has been staying well away from 1/8th scale buggies? It's almost as though they're afraid of that class.
@@VestedUTuber I consider traxxas one of the most creative brands and while most revisions from any brand are usually just minor updates I'm very pleased maxx got a complete overhaul. Traxxas made the sledge which looks more like a buggie to me even it it has a truck body
@@psp420bam If you want an example of an ACTUALLY creative brand, look at Tamiya. While they do keep some of their older chassis in production, they've also regularly released entire new cars whenever an existing chassis wouldn't fit a new model. They've got at least five different 1/10th scale 4WD buggy platforms with varying layouts and feature sets, each designed to fit different body designs and with different handling characteristics. And it's a similar situation with every other class of vehicle they produce. Even the racing-focused brands, which are otherwise highly derivative of each other (for obvious reasons), still regularly come out with new models that aren't just facelifts of old ones. But 99% of the time, when Traxxas comes out with a "new" model they just stick a new body on an existing platform and call it a day. The Sledge is the first time Traxxas has made an entirely new platform since the REVO and JATO. You could technically count the 4x4 models as "new platforms" but it's a pretty huge stretch since they still share a majority of their parts with their 2WD counterparts, mostly in the suspension. But the Sledge is also about as "creative" as any other 1/8th scale buggy/truggy platform - it doesn't actually bring anything new to the table in that class, it just uses what already exists. I also want to note that my initial comment was made _before_ the Sledge came out.
@@VestedUTuber I've had that brand and they are good but I do prefer traxxas selection and focus on rtr which is tamiya's weakness with very few only 3 but to each their own. I would get an Arrma,TA or HPI then Tamiya though all are good brands just with different pros and cons but I still prefer traxxas to all of those
My revo 2.0 has taken a lot to get it dialed in after pulling it out of the box. That being said, now that it’s dialed, it is easily my most fun to drive basher.
@@gregg7761 well in reality I just replaced things as they broke, but things broke rather quickly. The center drive shafts are plastic, traxxas makes upgraded steel ones. The stock dual servos have plastic gears, mine stripped on the 3rd run. Put a single traxxas 2255 servo and the heavy duty servo saver spring, I also suggest an aluminum servo saver. As mentioned the rear suspension needs a travel limiting device. Honestly the best thing is to pull it out of the box, have a blast, and fix it as it breaks. Just don’t get mad cuz it’s going to break like every rc car. That’s all. I guess my main advice with it is just have fun and don’t take it too serious.
I’ve had my erevo 2.0 since it came out and the only thing I’ve needed to do is the limiting straps and the blue traxxas rear shock brace, still running the original servos but they are getting weak tbh, just realign them from new to stop them fighting each other, I did burn the motor out but probably my fault 🤦♂️
Thinking about getting into the hobby, leaning towards the Traxxas brand don’t really know why they just appeal to me more but there’s something’s in the Arrma lineup that make my eyes twinkle[felony]. Think I’m going to start out with the Traxxas Maxx V2. Like the monster truck vibe it’s giving me.
I own a traxxas maxx v1, and I can safely say that the maxx line is one of the best bashers in the world. It is also really fun to pull some monster wheelies with the extreme power of the maxx and the x-maxx.

Both brands are amazing traxxas has good starters and it’s undeniable that the x maxx changed the game arrma has new innovative technology and features that never stop coming
I think for some, Arrma has improved on the flaws/faults of Traxxas model weak points...personally I think both brands are fragile as nothing is unbreakable...and thanks to cheaper esc combos, one doesnt need to spend a load on a RTR to go.4s amd higher...I bought a Slash 2wd brushed version and within a few months went brushed 3s with a GoolRC and did it all for under £200 (so car + brushless motor esc setup) Can't really buy a cheap brushless RTR unless you go for some unheard of brand from the Oriental market where one may get lucky and have a decent RC vehicle, or end up with one that breaks within a few runs, no spares and no returns or refunds. Either way RC has come along way since the 70s 🤟🤟🤣
I love this video, I currently own 7 traxxas RCs, but my next purchase will be the Arrma felony. I think both brands have alot to offer and I love that there are so many choices, thats what makes this hobby so fun.

Very good description of companies. My first rc vehicles were Team Losi JRX Pro and Traxus Rustler Pro Traxx truck. I still have them and actually dug them out of storage and bought new batteries and Protek charger after 20 years. That Traxxus truck instilled alot of good memories for my two sons and I who are now grown up. I recently bought a used Traxxus Rustler VXL so I can reignite the passion again in all of us. Traxxus is a good company for people entering into rc. Aarmas are for hardcore all out bashers and extremely serious about their sport. Maybe one day but not there yet. Lol
I've been a Traxxas fan for nearly 30 years. They are and will always be the best back yard bashers for me. I still have an original Traxxas Cat with box.
...Except Traxxas isn’t just about healthy competition. They’ve sued smaller companies into oblivion, and are known patent trolls (basically patenting stuff to prevent competition, rather than actually protecting stuff they use). I’ll post a link in the next comment, but I’m not 100% sure whether RUclips will let it stay up.

Best comparison I've seen that doesn't favor one or the other. I honestly had no idea Traxxas offered so many services, you're almost buying into an entire ecosystem for that extra money. That being said, my Big Rock V3 is on its way 🤩

@@otisskopik1400 Do you own one, any thoughts? My only concern is speed, would like it to run at least 30 mph or so which I believe would require some upgrades.
It was Traxxas's affordable, heavily supported, neophyte friendly Rustler 4X4 VXL and TRX-4 Sport that won a trepidatious, electronics-challenged 62-year old man to this hobby two years ago. Since then, an Axial Capra, LOSI DB Pro, Axial Bomber, and most recently a Traxxas HOSS have been added. I would love to have a RC sailboat as well as the new Axial RYFT rock bouncer. But my property has neither a pond/lake to sail a boat or a steep, rock-strewn 20+ foot high hill to challenge a 1/10 scale 'Rock-Bouncer'. The best one, is the one that puts the biggest smile on your face! - Kevin Talbot
Yup! Kevin Talbot said it best.🙂
He’s a traxxas fan boy
All I see on Kevin Talbot's channel is Arrma, Arrma, and Arrma. I think he has driven his X Maxx two times in the last six months.
Before ANYONE starts trying to say he’s not a traxxas fanboy, he has a video LITERALLY titled how to not make your Arrma suck. Gtfoh

@@paulclancy2404 Thanks for fucking saying that so @I Joie I can stop! OMFG

Traxxas hands down X-MAXX 8s
Well put
😂😂😂😂😂you speak for summit wy you dont say something for xmaxx and xrt the most powerful track .

Well said! Happy to hear about your r/c journey in 2020!

@@DirtSailor5
That's not an issue.
@@DirtSailor5
It won't change it that much.
Man I'm old. I remember when it was Associated vs. Losi.....and I went Kyosho Ultima, just because. lol
Lol 🤣 that's funny man. Everyone goes left so you hang a right. That's what I do

I'm not a big fan of TRAXXAS this is why they have there own battery connections, now ARRMA can run an EC5 / TX90 or a spectrum
battery ! when you first get into the R/C hobby you don't know this it takes a little wile to get your feet wet !!! And don't get me wrong !
TRAXXAS makes a darn good product ! but you can buy batteries anywhere when you you buy ARRMA ! EBay, Amazon or local Hobby Shoppe ! so this is my opinion ! food for thought !
I prefer the traxxas charging system but there are plenty of other brands that sell batteries with the traxxas connector on them.
I feel they are both excellent companies that make some awesome RC cars. I’m big Traxxas guy my self but just bought a Felony. Haven’t drove it yet but I love it and I feel it’s made very well.
Bought my first TRAXXAS = TRASH 17 days ago. This is how my experience has been so far.
Paid $675 out the door for a SLASH VXL 4x4 with 1 battery, a cooling fan and the $150 dollar charger
Day 2 slipper clutch burned
(Paid 20 bucks got the upgraded ones and clutch rebuild kit)
Day 4 pinion came loose and stripped the spur gear ⚙️
Day 6 front axle broke (upgraded it to thicker plastic axles)
Day 8 other front axle broke
Day 11 servo toast
Day 12 slipper bearing exploded
Day 13 rear axle broke + upgraded front axle snapped
Day 15 another spur gear & now the motor is toast.
Noticed rear differential is completely falling apart from the inside. New metal axles had scratches on the inside where it mounts to the rear differential. Completely dissatisfied and no different from an Amazon Chinese one when it comes down to reliability. Will see if it’s worth even going down this hobby. It put smiles on my face but it breaking every 2 days in less than 21 days in a trash product at the end of the day. Change my mind. Will look into armma next and see if it’s any better.
Great video my friend as long as we're all having fun

Traxxas needs modernise it's lineup, udr is good xmaxx and maxx but the hoss is just a stampede also in my opinion for the price too much plastic slash needs revised too I have a few traxxas and only ones I trully love are trx4 udr and spartan I would love to see a new x01 rebuilding mine just now but a roller type would be awesome too think they a little behind right now competition really stepped the game forward
Competition is always good for the consumer, it keeps the top companies on their toes 👌
Remember when the battle of the brands was Associated vs Losi?
Amazing video, subbed. Just bought my son a traxxis slash 4x2 for xmas and it has blown me away. Im hooked on them, sussing out a revo2 or kraton 6s for myself now!
Need both to compete with eachother, that's how they stay on top of their game. Usually when one company monopolizes a market they start cutting corners and quality goes down. So in my opinion both are the best
Great point👍
@@psp420bam
If you want an example of an ACTUALLY creative brand, look at Tamiya.
Me too man. Love my e revo
Hey Blue River, I just purchased a 2.0 and I’m looking for advice on what I’ll need to do to get it dialed in. Do you have any suggestions for me?
@@gregg7761 you won't need the limiting straps if you have the aluminum shock rods 💪🏼
Great video and clear comparison. Really enjoyed it and appreciate the time put into this as I am just getting back into RC after 20 years.
My first new kit was a Traxxas Sledgehammer :) but then fell out of the hobby until last year. Both companies seem to be churning out some quality gear. Wish there were more kit versions for us guys that like to build as well as bash/drive.
Have to say there seems to be loads of companies out there now doing great stuff. A really good time to be into the hobby!
Still have that original Sledgehammer? Those were cool trucks for their time.

Traxxas also practiced some not so good business practices to put them on top, like suing all other competitors into bankruptcy. HPI is making a comeback and is being resurrected by HRP and hopefully will give them a run for their money. I’m glad they all exist I just bought an Arrma Kraton but I think I can see an Xmaxx in my future. I’m also rebuilding my Savage. I’ll have the best of the past and current models.

I own both and enjoy both. But, my Arrma RCs are simply more durable. Last week I accidentally hit a metal bike rack that was cemented into the sidewalk with my Arrma Typhon 3S. It made the bike rack hum and vibrate like a big tuning fork! I had visions of total destruction but to my amazement nothing on it broke! I continued driving it and 3 battery packs later I went home. From past experience if I had hit that bike rack that hard with ANY of my Traxxas RCs there would have been broken parts all over the place!
Loved your video. Im older than a boomer. First rc hobby cars i played with were the frog, grasshopper and fox. The i got i to nitro with the Kyosho turbo burns. Fast forward a few years and HPI was king for awhile with 2 or 3 variants of nitro savages and rs4's. I quit just about the time Traxxas came onto the scene eit their nitro trucks. Pulled 1 if my old savages out of the attic this week and used a torch to free up the engine and take it apart to clean. Cant wait to show my son what this thing can do. Obviously started thinking about whats new, beinf out of the scene for a long time. Your video fit the bill perfectly.
I must say, Traxxas has the best customer service. I call them at 10:00 on Sunday mornings and talk to someone instantly. Keep it up Traxxas.
@Yugo RC That's right, you put it in the corner and not look at it for a month after the new piece to replace the broken one arrives🤦♂️😂😂😂
Nice video! But we all know it’s all about Redcat Racing. Do Traxxas or Arrma have the word “racing” in their names?!? Exactly. 😄
You do know red cat is a Chinese brand. @@Some0ne001 It was meant as a joke. Redcat is a U.S. company that primarily repackages Chinese RC cars under their own label, but they do design a couple of their own -- the Gen8 and Wendigo.
@@RazorRC Yeah, that always confused me. How can you have pretty nice vehicles like the gen 8, but have complete garbage vehicles that look like they belong in target in the toys section?

That Traxxus truck instilled alot of good memories for my two sons and I who are now grown up. I recently bought a used Traxxus Rustler VXL so I can reignite the passion again in all of us. Since then, an Axial Capra, LOSI DB Pro, Axial Bomber, and most recently a Traxxas HOSS have been added. I would love to have a RC sailboat as well as the new Axial RYFT rock bouncer.
