UDR vs Mojave Head to Head Comparison

- Disclaimer:
This video is to find the differences between the two cars. It is a side by side comparison based upon which rig you might choose while deciding what you want in an RC. Scale or model makes no difference to these tests. This is a performance test based upon "what you get in the box", with "no" modifications. The Mojave has been setup with relatively stock running gear as a measuring stick, with stock gearing and no suspension changes.
In this video we run the Traxxas UDR against the Mojave EXB from Arrma to find out once and for all which one is the better value for what you want in an RC. Toughness, handling, and control, all play a part in this decision. For us here at the studio, the question has been building for quite some time now. There are those of us who think the Mojave should be top of the list, but there are others who disagree. Traxxas or Arrma, it's a difficult choice to make, especially when they both build awesome RC's. Come along as AJ and his better half take these desert racers out for a test drive. On the outside they look the same, but internally, they are nothing alike. Which one will prevail? Which one will AJ choose? Only by watching this video will you find your answers.

The fact that the UDR went up $100 makes it easier for me to pick the Mojave.
Where did you find a UDR fox in stock!?
I like the Mojave much more than the UDR, but I get why the UDR is so expensive. There is so much more that goes into producing it.
I've been crazy busy with work and haven't been paying attention so I didn't realize the UDR went up $100. It was already $80 more than the Mojave before and I planned on picking one up (it's just so beautiful to look at, gotta admit), but not if it went up by $100. I don't think I could justify that one.
True
You can’t drive the UDR the same way you drive the Mojave. The UDR is built more like a real truck, you wouldn’t take corners that fast in a real truck. Slow down!!!
@@mebanetagreed, it's not a basher,UDR is for scale driving
You really went the extra mile on this video my friend…. The comparisons you made on both of these models was spot on ….and it definitely gave potential buyers a solid representation of both vehicles plus/minus features…. Gr8 job!! The only thing I would have liked is the specs on bot models… and the price of both models as tested.
☮️++++++out! 👍🏻😎
Thank you very much!
The Mojave just looks like it's such a better RC car tbh. I'm picking one up on Friday!
Great Video! I don't think people realize how much work it takes to cut a video like that. So thank you!
I bought the UDR & ran it for months without bothering with the traxxas app. Once I hooked the app up, it made it 10x more fun to run. Shows speed, can turn lights on/off etc etc. Yes its minor, but still very cool.
We have over 80 RCs but the UDR is my son's go to every weekend. I feel its more of a flat terrain/ track rc & really not for bashing cause yes it is a pain in the ass to work on lol!
I haven't bought a Mojave because I feel we have plenty of the same chassis's with having almost every Arrma RC (kratons, outcasts, notorious, typhon, talion). Yes they are all a lil different but stil the same.
If your an RC enthusiasts/collector, you gotta own a UDR or atleast run one experiencing the app.
Thx again for your videos.
Well said. Thanks for chiming in. AJ
Every video on RUclips I’ve watched of the udr, it’s spends half its time rolled over in the turns.
The handling and performance is all in the Mojave favor.
The udr has the looks. But that’s irrelevant because there covered in as soon as you run them.
This video was the one that sold me on getting the Mojave. Watching the UDR barrel roll on some pretty tame U-turns at the storage facility was just stupid. LOL
It is nice to see you and your wife truly enjoying those two trucks together💙😁.
I have beat my Mojave to death for 6months and then upgrades went in with Integy gear cases, a full set of GPM braces, CRCU hindgepin blocks w/ 0° rear tow in and T-bone bumpers. So now its seriously solid and just awesome!!
Thanks for the comment, and yes, she does love bashing with me. Also, it sounds like your Mojave is killer. Thanks. AJ

I love my UDR. It is the most realistic basher out there, it doesn't compare with any other RC's functionatlity wise. You can compare all the other baja trophy trucks RC's but nothing comes close to the real trophy truck other than the UDR. If you are complaining about how to access curtain parts an maintenance because it's under the cage this UDR is not for you. I would rather have it under the cage than have it exposed. The Mojave is just like any other RC's out there, like any other toy RC's not the UDR scale and full functionality of a real trophy truck.
True story i love my udr.💪💪
Best comparison I’ve seen on YT between these two. Thank You!
This is by far easier than the Revo 2.5 to work on. On another note, Even though the UDR is not a basher, it's one of the toughest trucks i've ever owned!!
I think when you get down to it the UDR handling just like a IRL trophy truck is what does it in. Those things aren't easy to drive. At speed you can park it upside down in a Mexican cactus so easy even the pros who run the Baja 500 and 1000 annually wreck out consistently
Awesome video I will say yes the udr stock out of the box handles terrible but if you thicken up the shock fluid it will smoke the Mohave in the corners
Thanks for sharing. Question: what thickness do you recommend?
Mojave kills it in every category...and its allot cheaper then the udr
Great video👍!!!
Straight axle compared to independent suspension🤔. Independent is going to outperform a straight axle every time especially in cornering!!! Jumping straight axle if it’s straight on 👌. A little off it’s going to roll back n forth making the handling difficult. Looks of the straight axle is awesome but looks don’t buy dinner, winning the race does!!!
BTW love both trucks but would definitely pick the Mojave!!!
RC away!!!✌️
Watching your video reaffirms how much i really want to get a mojave eventually, itd look nice sitting next to my reeper, it just drifts so well
It does look cool sitting next to the Reeper. I hope you get one soon. AJ
Owned both,Mojave is superior in every way.
this dude is an arrma FANBOY... not all traxxas trucks are perfect yes they need to be upgraded some of them right out of the box cause they are all to soft!!!
First off, Not a Fanboy for anything. Secondly, I am aware of the suspension issue with Traxxas, we own several of them here. The video was to display the differences between the two straight out of the box, nothing more. Our opinion on the matter is just that, our opinion. We here support any brand that builds cool stuff, not just Arrma. We take it car by car, not company by company.
True story.😂😂
Mojave handles soo much better and so planted like a 1/7 buggy almost
true that.
Exceptional content and the attention to detail in unbiased comparison is remarkable. Thanks a million. I was going to get myself and daughters the UDR but believe as a starter truck and mainly camping fun device the Mojave is hands down the leader for quick maintenance.
These are tough because the TT/DT/Score style chassis never really managed to reach a mainstream standard like what we get with the RC SCTs which are all currently buggy based. It ends up being very apple and orange. Even within that class, comparing say a UDR and Losi Baja rey would be hard because they differ so much in power and size class. The regular Baja Rey would be too small and the Super would be too big. However that comparison does work better mechanically, since they're all going for the scale design. We also lost the Yeti Score many years ago which might have had promise as a competitor, but alas. It's just a weird space.
Good job with the testing. Very informative. Results end up being pretty predictable just from looking at their chassis design. The UDR is vastly more top heavy, has so much travel, and the 2075 RTR servo that can't keep up with its own TSM. The LCG buggy pan design is near universal for a reason here, it just works well, even if it doesn't capture the magic of seeing a mini version of the real trucks. Great technical handling especially on a surface that is at least mostly flat. Most RC tracks are designed around that.
Finding a good place for the UDR to shine takes work, like the real thing it wants long straights and sections of woops/jumps with banked corners to cut down on chassis roll. With my Baja Rey I have to go to big dirt lots and there's a mountain bike park that does well with it. On the local RC track it's very hard to drive.
Well said 😎👍
Great review 🏁
upsetting being a Traxxas guy, but a locked diff in any car isn't great in turns. I think with an open diff it would likely perform better. Subscribed!!!
I picked up a super clean udr for $505
Nice!!!!!
The Traxxas UDR is a Open Desert Racer, not really a short course racer, that’s more the slash. By the way have you ever looked up the actual truck that the UDR is modeled after. It’s the only truck that 4 wheel drive in the sport. They have actual videos of the Model and the real truck side by side.
Can you find the link to that video? THX

Mojave is awesome. Fast. My rear drive shaft came out. Other than that that Mojave is crazy. Fast. U do have to take the Mojave side right fender off to change motor pinion. I run mine on steep hills. Flat ground rocks
Good to know!
You make a really good video, I was having a lot questions about which one should I buy
I’m definitely buying the Mojave
We’re glad we could help. 😎👍
You'll be very happy once you get the handle of it💥.
I'd order a set of 6lug 17mm hex kit from M2C. They will keep you from stripping yr hex inside the plastic rim. I stripped mine once I went to full power. It's the best upgrade for the Mojave and should be done before running for the first time.
I love traxxas but if i bought a 1/6 scale id go with the arma
I was interested in the UDR big time. But watching this video makes me think otherwise. Seems very heavy and clunky. The Mojave performed amazing though. I’ll have to check out more of your videos. Gave you a follow. Cheers
Great comparison! Clearly independent rear suspension is superior for handling!!
crazy how the Mojave moves more realstic on pavemet.....it slides so nicly
Yes it does. 😎👍
@@AJJAMStudios Got both of them now.....love it how they look next to one another in the shelf. Did'nt put the Max 6 in the Mojave yet
The cool factor on the UDR is through the roof! The design is absolutely awesome!
We can't argue that. The UDR is a one of a kind RC 😎👍
Mojave is a bigger slash. Your comparing 2 different trucks with the same body.
The Mojave and the Slash are as different as the UDR and the Mojave. Still, the video was built to answer certain questions. Thanks for watching.
Looks like it’s much easier to drive the mojave hard without it flipping and rolling. Better stability. Either way both trucks look mental!! Great video very comprehensive thanks.
great job! best comparison on youtube
just comes down to if you want scale or not.
Tuck that t-shirt in more 😂
Great video, i have the Mojave exb with the 1650kv max 6 combo in it. Running a 22t pinion and is an animal...I love it!!!
Right on! Awesome.
Hey AJ,
Wow, I didn't expect the video so soon. NIIIIICE !!! :) and thx !
It is still a tuff choice man. I just LOVE the looks of the UDR but the handling of the Mojave is apparently WAY better. I don't mind the extra work of the UDR, it's part of the fun of the RC world.
Here in Belgium, the UDR comes at 869 Euros. (Yes, you read that right, 869 big ones) How much is the Mojave complete with all the electronics, servo, motor, controler ...?
Thx Again for the video
Greetings from Belgium, the land of chocolate, waffles and Fries :)
I already had the video in the pipeline, so it was coincidence you asked for it when you did. I'm glad it worked out. Did you say Waffles? Mmmmmm. Thank you for the comment, AJ
I bought my UDR month ago, just for the realistic looking. I'm not interested in bashing, but I love do videos and pictures with my RC.s
Probably the Mojave is stronger and easier to workd, but I'm 100% sure doesn't look realistic like the UDR
Here a very short clip from today (Hope you like) : ruclips.net/video/IcFixRmV2Ng/видео.html
Right on
neither look realistic dude
That's is the only thing that I buy 3 udrs. But honestly just cause like you said the realistic . Just for that but for bashing. Not for queen shelf. I sold my last use and i buy again for the 4 time the Mojave exb out there is nothing compared with the arena Mojave exb. I just one week ago finished to install the electronics some oil shocks and diff oil upgrades and is ready to bite the dust. I know this is a beast you can running you can jumped you can almost destroyed and still working and with the udr. You need to drive like a 60 years old lady to not brake something in the rc truck so.... That's is my small comparation with the use and Mojave 🤷🏻
Dude... What a video, great job.
You make take my decision so clearly.
Glad we could help!😎👍
Mojave smoked that traxxas!! Arrma tough baby!!
I had that gold pan RC-10. Broke all time and cost an arm and leg to maintain! Especially when it was funded only by paper route money.
The early RCs were not all that durable. I feel your pain. 👍
The UDR sucks
Awesome video i am new to RC and although the mojave handles better and is easier to work on. i would like to own the UDR somewhere down the road it is beautiful and i feel it drives completely different then most RCs. Still though like most reviews it is for experienced level enthusiast. Someday but for now i want the maxv2, infraction, sledge and talion lol
Thanks for sharing 😎👍
I went with the Mojave 4s after much debate I liked everything you said and many people had nothing but good things to say about the Armma Mojave. Great Enthusiasm can’t wait to watch more of your content
Also great explanation on what more to "Scale" means. I'm new to RCs but I thought they always meant scaling as in 1/7, 1/8, 1/10... so I always asked my self why do they say "more scaled" if they are both 1/7 haha. Thanks for clearing that up!
Glad it was helpful!
Locked diff on UDR does NOT help with handling and cornering
right on
Not on pavement but it wasn't designed for that it's a off road vehicle
The more scale realism you design in cars like these the more attention to scale you have to operate them. I've observed that very few comparison videos key in on these key facts. The udr is not a basher and if you're looking for scale realism the mojave falls short. Apple's and oranges. I might.add that I own a udr and a losi baja raptor rey. Both scale cars. I try and remember to slow down and enjoy the view when I run them. If I need something to pick up the pace, be capable and durable, I pull out my slash which is just a smaller version of the mojave but similar in function and fun.
Brilliant observation. This is true, we sometimes forget scale when we run these cars. However, AJ knows one is scale and the other is not, but many people kept asking for the comparison, so we obliged. Keying in on the basher end of things was the most useful for our local group since they all bash and none of them are into scale. Still, You are absolutely correct, slow down and observe, that's the only way to get that effect. Thanks for reminding us that scale matters. 😎👍
Best comparison I’ve seen you didn’t cut any corners. You sure did roost them an the wife. Mojave I’m more into performance.
Thank you 😎👍
Great comparison and I do think if you did either of two things it might just flip the result:
1) stiffen the front (damper oil, springs, or swaybar) on the UDR so it doesn’t roll so easily. The rear limiting straps could also accommodate specific limits if one was motivated enough.
2) take both trucks to a beach with deep dry sand loaded with human footprint woops and see which one’s rear suspension soaks it up vs bottoming out and bouncing around
The salient point is the UDR can be adjusted to be far more competent on the test surfaces used here.
The other truck’s rear suspension is limited by design and can’t achieve the UDR’s rear travel with any amount or extent of adjustments, for other surfaces requiring it, which are admittedly on the rare end of occasional.
Thanks for the vid 👏👏
Awesome video. Best video I’ve seen of these trucks
Lol The UDR isn't a short course truck! The Mojave is. Still a great video!!
Good vid. Subbed! I think the UDR flipping problem is more a driver, and a terrain problem. Not saying you are a bad driver, I just think it needs to be driven to scale... everything you do with the UDR needs to be to scale.
If you watch a lot of these in real life, you see the body roll and what the drivers do to manage it. It's amazing to watch!
True that, scale requires scale driving. However, this was a test between the two cars for overall capability, not scale realism. I'm glad you caught that. Thanks for commenting. 😎👍
No the two tyres sitting way up high on the rear of car completely ruins handling .. put two big wheels on the Mojave back deck and I bet it would roll over all the time as well.
If I was to race the UDI. No way I would leave wheels on back
I really dislike the typical rattle sound that comes from the bodies of trucks like the mojave. Dirt inside the car will also be more of an issue when run without a shroud. I already own a 1/8 buggy and truck I would pick the udr over the mojave because it brings more of the stuff that i dont already have. If it was my only car it would be the mojave due to it's versatility and ease of use.
Great video! Any chance you have content on the Losi Super Baja Rey2.0 or its smaller sibling?
Cool comparison video. Big like and new subscriber here
Awesome thank you!
your charisma is insane like ive been watching video after video on comparing the two and you really convinced me to want the armma one also your just a good reviewer
Thank you so much. Our goal is to be helpful 😎👍
I was debating on whether to get the UDR or the Mojave. It looks like I'll be investing into the Mojave. One thing I did notice though is it seems the UDR has a wider customization horizon than the Mojave, like suspension upgrades, lights and bodies. but if you're looking to bash I suppose that wouldn't be a problem. love the video. you just gained a subscriber for clarifying my decision!
Thank you and welcome to the channel 😎👍
Love this channel but I have to say this has been the worst video, the only bad video. You can not compare a kit to an rtr, you can't drive an RC car and drive the same in a scale vehicle. What this video did show well was that every ride has a driver and vice versa. Great entertainment value b it it should have been titled something else.... I do not own either platform, I'm a Losi man 😂
Its hard to show on camera what makes the UDR special. Yes its a scale truck. BUT it’s also high performance dosing what it’s intended to do etc.
Both are fantastic though!
Another great vid. Thank you. Love my UDR and enjoyed working on it with some upgrades - will take it out soon. May sell my Senton to fund a Mojave.....hmmm.
I find the hobby evolves, and we must evolve with it. Thank you for the comment. AJ
I missed this video very excellent comparison. I just got the Mojave didn’t realize how big it is. WOW. Great video thanks 🙏
10:41 wife looking so confused with the tech jargon LMAO!
Traxxas screwed the pooch not making it irs..give us a 1/5 scale to battle with the 5t
You realy have open spares and with much less people, on my country switzerland no way ..... to many people and no free open spaces at all.
I have both. My UDR does not flip near as often as yours. Strange
Perhaps it’s because I push mine as hard as I can so you can see the difference. 😎👍
@@AJJAMStudios I run mine in a very similar fashion and agree the Mojave performs better, I just don’t flip that much. Thanks for the good comparison.
Not even close.
Well said 😎👍
Mojave is a better truck, but the UDR looks cooler and delivers a more fun scale drive, which is why I bought the UDR, and I will probably buy a Mojave as well, two different trucks for different jobs.
Absolutely. They look similar but that’s about it. Thanks for the comment 😎👍
Comparing apples to oranges. Completely different types of trucks.
Stock UDR vs NON-Stock Mojave, perfect comparison! Ill stick to the UDR
The UDR is an awesome RC. Thanks for watching.
MoJave it is...
Good choice! 😎👍
The UDR is more unique but the price outside the US for these cars is just prohibitive, the Xmaxx costed about 1500$ and the UDR 1200$ ...
Wow, that's crazy expensive. Bummer. Is it the added shipping or something, or is it just the set price of the car?
mojave is king hands down i do own 1 stock out the box it flys even on 4s for bash is very good piss easy to work on ive jummped it to the moon no broken bits love it charge up and send it 😉
I Just ordered the 6s BLX in Red... Cant wait man!
@@Top-Jimmy your gona love it id say best offroader
The regular Mojave vs the UDR would’ve been better for a comparison. The EXB Mojave isn’t even in the same class. The EXB was meant for bashing. The UDR specifically says not to bash.
Perhaps. We tested on pavement and track situations but kept the bashing fairly light. Still they are apples and oranges. One is scale and the other is a basher. But we put the video out for those who want to know the differences when trying to decide which one they want. Thanks for commenting 😎👍
oh man why do you drive the Mojave with throttle modulation while when you are on the UDR you have little to no throttle modulation?
It’s a scale replica of a trophy truck
Not short course
They do appear similar
However trophy trucks bigger
Faster
Longer suspension travel and higher center of gravity generally
They are for running flat out in the desert not on a prepared dirt track
I want to get one for scale appearances
You want a basher buy the other
Two completely different vehicles with in my opinion different intended usages
Try the Mojave against super Baja ray
I those 2 would be more fair race
We are aware of the differences between the two rigs, and the video is to help those who are looking at both decide which to get. It is not actually a one vs the other as far as which is better overall. Each has it's intended purpose and design characteristics. Looking at both as a purchase, this video should help you decide if you want a scale truck or a basher. We've had several people ask this question with the intent to buy, so we built the video to answer those questions. Thanks for the comment.
Mojave win!!
Hey awesome video, I’m actually thinking about buying the Mojave,, that truck looks bad a**!,,, I currently have a senton 3s and want to replace shocks, is there any you can recommend,,, thanks 🙏
Search Big Bore shocks on Ebay, and look for Senton rated shocks. I've had great luck with those and they are relatively inexpensive. Good hunting. AJ
Can't get anymore fair of a test than this. Excellent video. I own a 6s BLX Mojave, However I still like the UDR very much. The Mojave is definitely (for me) a tighter Daily driver/Basher.
Right on😎👍
all my friends sold there UDR's and got the Mojave. the Mojave is lightyears ahead of the udr. at the track the udr can not complete a lap without flipping over! and the solid axle make the truck bounce out of control. the mojave independent rear suspension make it unequal in the short course game!
Your perspective on that is spot on. The UDR is a great car in the scale category, but the Mojave is definitely the better performer of the two. We have done extensive testing and the Mojave comes out on top every time. But no matter how good the Mojave runs, however, it does not qualify for the scale category. I do enjoy my UDR, and I have the Mojave set at number two in our top 10 list because the thing is an absolute tank, it handles good, it’s super fast straight out of the box, and I really like the way it looks. I really appreciate your comment. Thanks for participating.😎👍
fact is.... anytime a truck turns over when youre turning it , its because its too soft.. the slash will do the same thing right out of the box.. i put stiff springs on it it never turns over anymore. the same thing will work for the UDR just get stiffer springs its that simple!!!
It's not quite as simple as that due to the ride height and travel of the suspension of the UDR. This particular car is designed to take rolling hills and lumps for a cross country race, just like the real rig. This one is a scale truck, not a simple RC. But, you are also right in stating the stiffer you set up your suspension, the less body roll you get, but that works against you as well because it limits how well the suspension travels as the tires contact the ground. Still, what works for you works. Thanks for commenting. 😎👍
The UDR is heLLa cool looking but so is the Mojave. The Mojave simply handles better and is less prone to flipping.
They are both breath taking to watch run. The question is..."Scale" or "Not scale"? The Mojave is a great runner and looks awesome while the UDR also looks great when it's running as it was intended to be run. That scale look really shines at slower speeds, but the Mojave is nothing short of a guided missile on flat ground and corners better than the UDR at speed. Thanks for watching 😎👍
I see a lot Traxxas guys on here don't be mad about my opinion. Just I want to said arrma Mojave it's since came out the best basher and toughness act for me on that scale I know, I know, the looks of the UDR is 90% realistic from a real trophy truck but that all i have in the past 3 udrs and never ever compared with the Mojave. The UDR have alot it points that need to fix . But to Traxxas don't cares cause, like said it's a lot out there Traxxas people. And nobody complaining. The first big complaint for me about the UDR it's the truck flip over slot I mean a lot. evertime when you make a fast turn flip another big mistake with Traxxas the front lower arms and the rear arms brake easily. I know those parts don't cost to much. Here it's another one the wheels nuts lose a lot when you have a lot torque in those tires not matter if you buy news still loosing it, the center diff it's another big disagree the tooths brake easily and finally the cheap servo that Traxxas put in the UDR. Come on it's a ,$770 dollars rc truck why not install a lease a $60 buck high torque servo. Well those are my disagree on the Traxxas udr 🤷🏻
Thank you for sharing. 😎👍
Only issue i see with the vid is a common misconception as the udr is not a short course vehicle it is scale to a baja truck or trophy truck they are similar but are different👍😌
Mo Misconceptions in this video dude. You saw it, I saw it, Thousands saw it. The IRS wins hands down. Just take a look at the real ones... they spend more time rolling down a course than driving (so to speak)
The UDR flips because it has a rear locker
Actually there is a lot more to it than that. Chassis design, ride height, suspension travel, traction, and so on.
You should taken those two spare tyres off the UDI.. that would made a huge difference to handling .. maybe stiffer oil in the rear .. or reduce ride height a bit ??? . Seems like unfair test .. speed is determined by motor size kv and final drive rate. Since your Mojave u choose the motor it's not really comparing anything.
No mods
Kinda wish arrma built something like the udr but I guess losi has that
I was thinking of trading off my Mojave off but after watching this I’m just going to hang on to it …
Good call. Mojave’s rock. 😎👍
I don’t get to Washington often … I don’t want to seem like a crazy fan .. but I’d sure like to go rc bashing with you one day .. I watch a lot of your videos and learn a lot from your channel. My favorite rc of mine is the 6s typhon witch is a lot like the Mojave
As with all Arrma's, the Typhon 6s is using much of the standard designs they use in most of the 6s lineup. That's not to say they suck, far from it, when you get something to work well, make lots of it, that's my take on it. Perhaps the Kraton is not for you, let's just say, Arrma also makes the Talion 6s, which is sleeker and more aerodynamic, but based upon the same basic layout and ingredients. That's why the Mojave and the Typhon exist, variety. I own each of them and love them all. The Mojave is a tank, but then again, so is the Typhon. Arrma Rocks!!! As for the first part of your comment, I don't think you're crazy. It's fun up here in the Northwest. Keep on bashing my friend. 😎👍
We need a local open outdoor track like this in my area lol. Thats really nice
_Eh dat Tinas a real hottie..thats whats goin on...am i right_
UDR is by far my favorite RC. Looks the business and performs well enough for my style of driving. Yes, it can't corner too well and does flip over quite a few times BUT I still think it's awesome and glad to own 2 of them❤💖
UDR is an awesome truck, of that there is no doubt. I love the scale of it, the design, dual shock setup, all of it, but for hardcore bashing the Mojave wins the day. It’s just the repair ability of it, well, plus the higher stability rating. I love both trucks, and appreciate your passion for your rigs. Thanks for the comment 😎👍
@@AJJAMStudios I'm still new to your channel and catching up on your vids, so I don't know if you checked out the SBR 2.0 yet? I definitely am lovin mine, but the handling out the box is not fantastic. Still, the road presence alone makes it worth the price of entry.
That that's is the reason I don't like it when you take a corner on lest said 30mph is for sure 1000% going to flip over that's happening exactly the same with the losi SBR 2.0 . The realistic on the udr I can said nothing about is not one rc act out there to compared with the realistic of the udr... And with the Mojave you can drive fast take a corner and still running without flip over. 💪🏼
Correct me if I’m wrong but the arma Mojave is intended to be a short course truck while the traxxas udr is modeled after a trophy truck. The handling characteristics of both those trucks are totally different even tho they are both amazing in their own way
A short course truck IS a Short Course Trophy Truck. That is just referring to one of the Stages they participate in. "" Short Course "" That's all that means.
In my opinion the two are not comparable one is scale the other isn't wich makes everything about the udr different weight, suspension, handling exc
You should read the description for the video. Thanks
so the Mojave is a big slash 4x4 essentially...
It's Shan like a diamond
One of the best comparison videos I’ve seen. Thought the traxxas was going to take it when I first started watching. Very nice surprise
Thank you! 😎👍
The turn test on the flagged track isn't realistic. The tester kept feathering the turns for the Mojave just like on the pavement at the storage facility. I couldn't trust this video
Awww suck it up princess lol
Looking at all that smoke and haze in the air, I'd have to guess that you are in the lovely inland northwest lol. Great video as always boss!
Thank you. It definitely is smoky around here. 😎👍
It's seems small but the Traxxas is not a short course truck, it's a Trophy truck. Short course trucks don't have spare tires in the back.
Copy that. We are aware they are different, but our older video does not relay that message very well. We were new to the truck at that point and AJ did his best to keep it straight. Thanks for commenting. 😎👍
The toe alignment on your EXB is out of whack one-wheel looked straight and one-wheel look off to the left
It is set to the factory settings. If you look, all of the Arrma rigs are toed out some. It helps with control. I’ve set the straight up but then they have issues driving straight. I know it looks odd, but it works. Thanks for the observation. 😎👍
Seriously how can u think you are comparing handling when one car had two great big wheels up high on the back .. Does this not even enter your head for one second.
The cars are as they came out of the box. We didn’t build them. One vs another, stock.
I'd like to see a maintenance video. You tear it up when bashing but when reviewed afterwards they are spotless. Just curious what you do to them.
Great suggestion!
