Arguably the greatest Queen song 🎸

"Freddie Mercury and his stage presence is immeasurable to this day." Very true. By the last song of a concert, NO-ONE was sitting. Saw them in the early 80's.
Recommend: Somebody to Love live, Who Wants to Live Forever live.

This is such a great song, I find myself singing it often, it just sticks in my head. I only got to go to a Queen concert once as it was really hard to get tickets in Los Angeles because they would sell out almost immediately. It was my favorite concert of any I ever attended and I have attended all the top tier rock bands concerts over the years. The energy as well as the spectacle of the performance was beyond fantastic. Who ever was the person who gave the thumbs down for this video has to be a hater and a troll. This is just a fantastic presentation of this song. Very nice reaction, thank you.

Thanks, Mash! Brian, Brian, Brian!! his song, his start on keys with guitar in lap - the smoothest transition ever when Freddie goes to piano and Brian picks up the guitar solo... I love Freddie a lot, but this was always a BAND - everyone deserves full credit for their contributions - hope to hear more of your reactions -

Queen has such amazing songs. I love how Brian and Freddie switch places so Brian can bust out the guitar! He has the best licks.
Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy is also a fun one, and much more upbeat. Also check out their Live Aid performance. Freddie has such charismatic command of every crowd. RIP to a legend.

Nice reaction to a beautiful song, an amazing performance and a genuine singer and musician. Please, check out White Queen at Hammersmith 75. It's another ballad written by Briand sang perfectly by Freddie and dont't forget Roger and John who gave their best into it as well.

Awwww man - Thanks for reminding me that this was exactly 10 years before Freddie passed away. 🥺😢😩 The concert was filmed on 35mm & it was originally intended to be a tour in itself, by a company called Mobilevision that was essentially a traveling IMAX. The audience mics were brought down which contributed to a false idea in some viewer’s minds that the audience was bored & unreceptive. The director managed to own the rights to the footage. But in 2007, Queen bought back the rights resulting in the CD/DVD Queen Rock Montreal & Live Aid.👏👏👏 Great reaction thank you so much! 😁😁

He died exactly 10 years after this performance? Way to bring down the crowd, Ash! Talk about suckerpunching us in the feels! ;-) All kidding aside, I was still a student when they announced his death on the news and I remember watching interviews and videos all night long on several channels. 30 years has passed now and it still stings. Another great post. Much love from the sunny beaches of Florida.

I have been their devoted fan since 1970 when I was in junior high in New York, and saw them in concert in the ‘70’s before they became mega superstars. Would love for you to do more Queen reactions. Brian said quite recently that the song was about Freddie who was going through a bad breakup but he didn't say this at the time to respect his privacy. One of the things I love about this performance is the difference you can hear between Brian's piano style and Freddie's. One of my favourite Queen songs (or at least it is today.)
