This is the first time I've seen anyone react to the album version of this song, ever. The live version is great and all, but the studio version, (like a great many of their songs), has an extra dimension to them, usually due to the backing vocals and various mixes that are going on, that seem absent in the live versions. Having said that, the live version is of it's own calibre. You can't go wrong with Queen live or studio.
They are both fantastic and wonderful for different reasons. Love them both equally.

Great reaction to a beautiful song. Queen has never performed their songs by the same way live. Freddie was a passionate man with full of emotions and he could deliver them as no one else. It's really interesting to watch his arms and hands how he strains his muscles to underline the message.

What is even more impressive is when they do this song in their Rock In Rio performance. The audience once again sings, in English, even though their national language is Portuguese. That is an amazing performance.

As beautiful as the studio cut is, their live performances of this song were always magical. They also illustrate what a powerful creative force Freddie & Brian were.
You should check out the live version in Montreal. The crowd didn’t really participate, but Freddie’s vocals are amazing (light, more like the studio cut), and Brian’s playing is beautiful.

Tho Brian’s acoustic guitar with just Freddie’s vocals onstage is magnificent! 🍃🌸🍃🌷🍃🌷🍃🌸🍃 Gorgeous song written about Freddie’s former fiancé & life long friend Mary Austin. She remained a very devoted & trustworthy friend to Freddie. I read that she was holding Freddie’s hand when he died 11/24/91. Mary has named Freddie as her one and only eternal love! 💕💕
Sorry....in interviews Freddie declared that this song is about his audiences...he even points to the crowd when singing it...and in one version after singing that line to the crowd he adds “and don’t you forget it”❤🤩

Thanks so much for this -- in the studio version, Brian played not only his usual guitar - and harp, as you noted - but also a little cello - harmonies are awesome, too -- mostly Fred, but some Brian and Roger in there -- Freddie's ability to "solo" this song is amazing - but of course, he needed Brian to back him up... on the 12-string! :)
What a fantastic reaction video! I watched your reaction to SAVE ME and followed on from there. I'm an old Queen fan from 'back in the day' and find it fascinating to watch a younger generation connecting with their music and performances. But I find, or found, your reactions particularly emotional, almost as if you were picking up the real emotions behind the songs and lyrics. All I can say is...please please do some more Queen reactions. for me, forget the fashions of the 70's, have a look at YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY, sung live at the Hyde park free gig in 1976, and maybe the studio version too?? I'd love to see your reaction to the pure love he put into that song. Thanks again, from a very old Queen fan.

A very similar Queen song to this one is You Take My Breath Away. The studio and live versions are both just Freddie and a piano delivering another love song that is impossible not to tear up to.

Why did she stop making videos?
She said on her Patreon that she's working on her Master's degree and working a job, so doing RUclips has been hard. The post was last summer so I'm guessing she has just put RUclips on pause.

You should check out Klaus from the scorpions' cover of this song. He's covered it a couple times and once as a tribute to Freddy after he passed if I'm not mistaken
He does an admirable job of pulling out the correct emotion out of the song and it's a really enjoyable version
