What is better than 70 thousand people are singing along with you? When 250 thousand are singing, like they did in Rio. 😉 This band really loved their audiences all around the world.
It's amazing that this is a live prefomance. Just Freddie and Brian's guitar. And thousands of adoring fans. Doesn't get much better than that. Beautiful ❤
You are reacting to the greatest frontman ever to grace the stage. There will never be another Freddie. I really enjoy the authenticity of your reactions. Thank you and best wishes from the UK.
Freddie and band did an impromptu section in this concert that is fantastic - you can find it by searching for Queen Wembley Impromptu. It is awesome !!
Love Of My Life is probably one of my favorite songs by Queen. This performance from Wembley is awesome but you should check out the version of this song from Rock In Rio in '85. It's mostly the audience who doesn't speak English as a first language singing the song to the band. But this version from Wembley holds a special place in my heart because of Freddie's voice, Brian on guitar, and the crowd. Simply perfect.
Freddie was a man of the people and he invited us all to go along with him on his musical journey. We are all better to have tagged along. Queen is legend.
Great input…an early Queen song that showcases all the guys is Liar at the Rainbow, John maybe gets a little more attention, but it shows the true showmen they were.
LIAR is a break out song for John - love it. Everyone has their moment on stage to shine. There was never a question of delivering their best, no matter any constraints.
If you want to see this crowd involved, react to Queen at the Live Aid concert. This performance was an impromptu one, near the end of the concert, while the performers were taking a break.
“He creates an intimacy with the crowd” Yup, with all 75,000 of them. Queen learned early on that playing live was a shared experience with the audience. They put a lot of effort into putting on their shows, yet Freddie was very spontaneous.
Hi Kim, Have you seen the one in Rio in 1985? If you haven't, you should look it up, I think you'd love it also! (250,000 non-English-speaking people ALL singing; the Wembley audience is 70-some-odd thousand). ;D
HI SEAN, I just wanted to say how very much I'm enjoying the reactions you've been doing for these Queen/Freddie performances... I always appreciate the perspective of a singer or musician who understands/can point out things that a run-of-the-mill fangirl like myself wouldn't pick up on! This song was midway thru the concert, in conjunction with another acoustic ballad "Is This The World We Created?"... a chance to "catch their breath" before rocking out some more! (The Wembley concerts (there are two of them, consecutive nights) are sooo long; just watching them through in-one-go tires me out! ;D )
Freddie loved an impromptu with the audience, the group were always inclusive with the fans, they invited them to take part in the music videos, right from the very early days. Everyone thought it was written about Freddie girlfriend Mary Austin, however they now think it was actually from Mary point of view, as they stayed friends throughout his life
I agree, as well. Some said it was about David Minns but that doesn't match up with the time it was written and how their relationship ended. When I thought of it from Mary's perspective, it made perfect sense.
I really like your take on Queen and Freddie's great vocals. Not only did he have a real connection to every individual in the audience, but he wanted to always inject a little fun into his performances...he was a master of physical humor, fooling around either with the audience of the rest of the band.
Check out Now I'm here, One Vision or Tie your mother down all live at Wembley great songs great audience participation I think my favorite versions of those songs. Glad you're checking Queen out lots to choose from.
This is a great performance. You should also do a "double header" of this song. The 1st one Queen at Rio '85 (Freddie doesn't sing a note of the 1st verse, he just directed the crowd of 350,000 - that doesn't speak English - like a choir conductor). The 2nd Queen + Adam Lambert Rio 2015 (which is just Brian & the audience - although Freddie does make a cameo 😀). The performances are 30 years apart, but both powerful.
Very thoughtful reaction. Diversity in Queen - if you haven't listened to them, try My Melancholy Blues, Princes of the Universe, March of the Black Queen...
Beautiful ballad written by Freddie!! Other songs with amazing vocals by Freddie are - ONE YEAR OF LOVE, NEVERMORE, IN MY DEFENSE, DON’T TRY SO HARD, LILY OF THE VALLEY, IS THIS THE WORLD WE CREATED …
Afternoon Sean. Just wanted to say, thank you for all the great work you do & put out for people. Not only do you put out some really good songs (although I will always be a metal-head first & foremost), but you spread a great message & help people feel a Feth load better. Secondly, may I put in a request for you doing a reaction to, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Free bird, live in Oakland '77 (for the best live version of the song. But not much seen of the band), or the same band & song at Knebworth festival in '76. That is the best live performance as they are the opening act for the Rolling Stones. Not only did they totally out perform them, but they did it on 'THE TONGUE'. The part of the stage everyone is told never to touch as it is Mick Jaggers area. Both are very worth checking out. Oakland for music, Knebworth for the act. Thanks again & hope yourself & everyone in your life is having a great day

Queen was and still is the greatest band of all time and will continue to be so for generations to come
God bless you freddie we miss you
It’s because he’s one of the best showmen there ever was. The entire band were amazing musicians.
What is better than 70 thousand people are singing along with you? When 250 thousand are singing, like they did in Rio. 😉 This band really loved their audiences all around the world.
This crowd is truly eye popping……
A rapper wouldn't know what that felt like!!
P.S. Does a rapper know what a twelve stringed guitar 🎸 even looks like??
Footage or it didn't happen
It's amazing that this is a live prefomance. Just Freddie and Brian's guitar. And thousands of adoring fans. Doesn't get much better than that. Beautiful ❤
Freddie writes and sings from his heart.
That’s what made him so special!
Freddie wrote this song for the only woman he loved : Marie Austin
You are reacting to the greatest frontman ever to grace the stage. There will never be another Freddie. I really enjoy the authenticity of your reactions. Thank you and best wishes from the UK.
He really was one of a kind 💯 thank you, glad you’re enjoying them 🙏
Brian at the top of his game coupled with the vocals/lyrics of Freddie is perfection. Just glorious.
Thanks for exploring Queen! Please check out Queen's set from the 1985 Live Aid concert. Best live performance ever!

This is such a must, both nights and Rock in Rio blues. 😁

MUST react to Live Aid concert!!! Will blow you away!!!
Freddie was a man of the people and he invited us all to go along with him on his musical journey. We are all better to have tagged along. Queen is legend.
I was singing along all night Monday with every Queen song and it’s always extra special when Freddie appears on the screen (RIP):)

I haven't but thanks for the suggestion I will definitely check it out 😊 no such thing as too much Queen
My favorite band, they do not inthe same place, they grow throughout their career.
Wow 🥰 we still love you Freddie ❤️

I subscribed bec of Queen, I'm not tired of listening and watching them, thank you for the great reactions
The fans even get Freddie’s inflection correct- I appreciate your response-

More queen on the way 🤘

This is real soul music. Something that touches the heart. This is REAL music.
.Freddie left this song for us to sing of him, the chorus from us to him, the bridge from him to us:)
You should watch the video of the green day crowd singing bohemian rhapsody, hyde park I think. It's so cool
Rap is NOT what I consider music.....
THIS IS MUSIC!!!
How about You Take My Breath Away Live at Hyde Park 1976? Love your reactions. Keep em coming! 😁

When I hear rain May lay guitar I swear I hear the guitar singing actual words, but I can't translate them for you.
Dragon attack, The Hitman, Dead on time or Was it all worth it pls. Great songs. Or another tool song.
Can you react to Chop Suey by System of a Down? They are an alternative metal band.
Yo Staxx! A new falling in reverse track just dropped yesterday. "Voices in my head" u definitely need to check that one out if u haven't already
Have listen to going to California led zeppelin live for some acoustic craziness.
Thank God dear Freddie used his power for good....Otherwise the World would have been in big big trouble.
Its beautiful isn't it ?
It is!
He wrote this song for his love Mary who remained by his side until his death along with his male partner.
