There are outtakes after nearly all Jackie Chan's movies. Rush Hour 2 and 3 are good as are Shanghai Nights and Shanghai Noon and Rumble In The Bronx. For Jackie's own films (watch the subtitled versions and not dubbed) there is Police Story, Project A, Drunken Master 1 & 2, Armour Of God, Who Am I? to name but a few. He started doing the outtakes after his role in Cannonball Run. Burt Reynolds did these kind of blooper reels at the end of his movies for a while then Jackie had a role in one of his movies and loved the idea but showed his failed stuns.
I really don't get the craze about subtitled versions over dubbed. Are your dubs really that bad that you'd rather miss half the action by reading subtitles? One underrated Jackie Chan movie that I absolutely adore is "New Police Story" (2004) that totally works as a stand-alone, and it really lets him show off his more emotional range. Plus, there's a lego fight!
I met Mark Rolston (FBI Agent Warren Russ) a couple of years ago. He told me that after they finished the first movie, Jackie Chan hired out the Planet Hollywood restaurant (I don't know which one) so that all the people who worked on the movie could have a party. Mark Rolston brought his family with him and said Jackie was really nice to them.
Jacky Chan does his own stunts. He makes it look easy. He was so much faster when he was younger. I think I learned from him that everything can be a weapon in a fight, being resourceful. You can see it now in Jasn Bourne, John Wick, and other movies.
This trilogy and Shanghai Noon (a comedy Western where he's paired with Owen Wilson) are Jackie's best American movies IMO. I have enjoyed them endlessly over the years. Welcome to Jackie's fandom!
Jackie Chan movies are always a treat. Similar duo comedy for me are the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies, in Europe everyone saw their every movies. Super funny, entertaining, and they also beat up the baddies.
The ironic thing is, even if Juntao did end up getting away with that 70 million, he'd already lost the most important asset that made him such a powerful crime lord in East Asia. His anonymity.
Historically Jackie Chan movies always had blooper reels at the end of them. More movies should do this. But in modern movies so few stunts are done without stuntmen that I guess it wouldn't be worth it or funny.
Rumble In The Bronx (1995) was Jackie Chan's first film introduced to US cinema, but it was dubbed. He first appeared many years earlier in an 80's Cannonball Run movie but they refused to show him but in only a few scenes. Because of that Jackie Chan lost hope in becoming a star in American Hollywood movies, so went back to Hong Kong to make his own movies, which proved he can be a great star and movie maker of his own. Even the director of Rush Hour, Brett Ratner said he felt intimidated by Jackie Chan who had produced well over 30 films on his own. Thankfully Brett Ratner allowed Jackie Chan to introduce ideas into the film which helped.
My favourite Jackie Chan movies are Armour Of God, First Strike, Project ‘A’, Police Story 1 and 2, Supercop, Who Am I, Wheels On Meals, Dragons Forever, Accidental Spy and his first appearance in a hollywood movie The Cannonball Run 1 and 2. All of these have bloopers at the end. Also he was a stuntman on Bruce Lee’s Enter The Dragon which needs a reaction to it. So glad you enjoyed Jackie Chan, can’t wait to see more.
This is a surprisingly good buddy cop series. While it never has good plots, the comedy and action athleticism is top notch. You'll have fun with RH2 and RH3. And Jackie Chan is just peerless in his charm and physical skill. It's almost impossible to not be stunned by what he can do as he bridges all cultural boundaries with his charisma. He sells the action in his great faces.
All of Jackie Chan's movies have plenty of stunts. But the first thing that comes to mind is Rumble In The Bronx. The fight scene at the gang's hangout. Just ignore the mountain in the background. THere are no mountains in New York.

Movy with really amazing stunts... Hmm ANY movie with Jackie Chan and his crew(he is have his own stunt crew, and he does an insane amount of takes to get it right). Jackie always uses props on the site for the stunts and it is really nice to watch. Also Jackie's team was working more under different laws when it comes to stunts, today these stunts where not allowed to be made in hollywood as they are too dangerous according to Hollywood. Drunken Master 1 and 2 are both more physical comedy by jacky. He was actually stunt man for Bruce Lee, and after Bruce death he got bad reviews as a Lee replacement, so he started doing the opposite of what Lee would have done. So instead of a kick to knock someone out he went for a low kick to make them fall and went into a lot more comedy rather then being brutal in his fights. From Jackie Chan I really like „Armour of God“, but he was seriously injured during one stunt. While it looks so easy in the movie, the outtakes show that he is human and it still takes lots of practice. For physical comedy Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton come to mind. From Chaplin „Goldrush“ is one of my favorites, and from Keaton the most well known one is probably „The General“. A bit newer than these silent films is „Les vacances de Monsieur Hulot“ by Jacques Tati. While the protagonist only says his name once in the movie, it also features some sound gags in addition to visual comedy. The music can be a bit repetitive, but as Roger Ebert once put it: This movie feels as if you go on vacation to the same place and meet the same strange people all over again.
C4 doesn't explode when you shoot it..... It's extremely stable, that's one reason why the military likes using it, you could shoot it, set it on fire, it won't explode unless the detonator is pushed and the charge goes through it. Lol
0:30 "Which movie has really amazing stunts?" For me, Rumble in the Bronx might be my favorite Jackie Chan movie based on: Most stunts. Best stunts. Overall story. Accessibility (how easy it is for a generic American audience to understand/follow/connect with the movie). Some other movies might hit one or two of those things better, but not all 4. I would start there then branch out from your fan recommendations if you want to go down a Jackie Chan rabbit hole.
4 parts of this movie that really make me crack up laughing are: 1. When Carter starts dancing like Michael Jackson in the middle of the street after blowing the car up 2. When Lee and Carter are bonding and practicing disarming techniques while Edwin Starr's song "War" plays in the background 3. When Carter says "I know that ain't the bomb. Get that bomb away from me." Towards the end 4. Carter picking a verbal fight with the elderly Chinese cook
And trust me, the blooper reels for the remaining two movies are just as funny when it comes to the slip-ups with the dialogue.
There is one movie where Jackie doesn't do his own stunts due to an injury. The movie is "Thunderball" (1994), where he plays a raceway driver who doesn't fight, but races for a living (kinda like NASCAR).
Loved Your Reaction! Another Great Comedy with Chris Tucker is "Money Talks"(1997) Also; "Bad Boys"(1995) another Comedy/Action Franchise with 3 sequels starring Will Smith & Martin Lawrence
Jackie Chan started doing those bloopers after liking them from his 2nd American film in The Cannonball Run (1981) where they did that for the entire cast of stars of the day and the past. Very funny film. Worth a watch.
Thank you for reacting to Rush Hour. I really like these movies and I am a fan of seeing Jackie Chan working his magic. Over the years I have seen some stunts of his that turned out so bad it is a miracle that he is still alive. Guess it makes sense that he could not perform the stunts in Hollywood the way he wanted to due to safety regulations. The bloopers afterwards are something I really miss in movies these days. Glad to see you had fun with this one and hope you will continue the other Rush Hour movies at some point. I am not critical enough editing wise to notice the difference, so I would say just use the editing style that is easier for you to do.
Truly an entertaining movie while the jokes and dialogue will never make it past sensors these days the story of Lee and Carter’s bromance was the backbone of this trilogy.
Much love to Chris and jackie."Show your ass" is the best outtake of all time. The bloopers during credits were a feature I first remember by Hal Needham. He made several Burt Reynolds films. Jackie got a job in CANNONBALL RUN II, 1984, and there have been bloopers in Jackie's movies since. We're they there before? I don't know. Jackie running up walls is my favorite. As he aged, he has done it less. I'm guessing It's that Father Time and gravity thing. He's damaged himself seriously several times, but the show must go on. Thanx for another fine Wak job.
There's a lot to list and likely already mentioned before me but one movie that I love for the stuntwork, fight scenes and choreography is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon from 2000, it's a beautiful one to check out.
I look forward to it! You'll also recognise a few actors from it that you've seen in other films you watched recently which should be fun! As for Rush Hour, it's never boring this trilogy; while the third is the weakest, they're all fun and a good laugh. I can't wait to see your reactions to them! @@VerowakReacts
Some of my favorite of Jackie's physical comedy stunts are in Around the World in 80 Days. It also has an amazing cast of guest stars. You should really consider reacting to this. You will want to thank me later.
3:24 You cannot detonate C-4 by shooting it. This is literally why soldiers carry it instead of other explosives - it won't accidentally detonate in a battle if stray bullets hit it. Maybe that was not the C-4 exploding. Maybe it was the car's gas tank. Except, bullets don't make gas tanks explode either. So unless they had something like nitro glycerine or maybe old sticks of dynamite in there too, there really wasn't any way to shoot the car to make it explode.
I'd agree that it's highly unlikely and one certainly shouldn't hope to get that effect on the first shot. However, with the amount of bullets Carter fired into that car, I'd say there is at least a possibility that he hit some electrical stuff, creating sparks and setting of a small chain reaction leading to this endresult. So, unless you can disprove that with certainty as well, I'd say it goes from absolutely impossible to impossible to predict and unlikely to happen, which is totally what movies are about.
@@lukasr5867 This has been tested and debunked. There are many videos on RUclips, including the famous one by MythBusters. Liquid gasoline is not flammable. Gasoline vapors are. In fact, you can throw a match into a bowl of gasoline and the match will just go out unless there are vapors in the air above that ignite before the match is put out by the liquid gasoline. There are many videos of this. The gasoline in a car tank is liquid. It's not vaporous until it the carburetor mixes it with air and then this mixture enters the piston cylinder. Theoretically if the care is moving and bouncing around and the gas tank is, say, only half full, that jostling could produce vapors and a bullet might be hot enough to ignite those vapors. This has been tested. Bullets are not that hot. However, gyrojets and tracer rounds are that hot, but then all they do is create a fire, not an explosion, because gasoline only explodes under high pressure - that's what the pistons in the engine actually do, pressurize the gasoline so it can explode. This fire will burn, not explode, the rest of the gasoline in the car. This has all been tested by government agencies like the NHTSA as well as independent groups who wanted to do some fun "science". Finally, C-4 is not flammable. So even if Carter had gyrojets (he didn't - they leave a visible trail that was not seen in the film) and ignited gas vapors, the ensuing fire would not blow up the gasoline or the C-4. Sorry my friend, Hollywood and video games have been misleading you for years.
@@blakewalker84120 "My friend" you are not telling me anything new here. And you're not at all saying anything against my original argument. You're attacking strawmen. I never even talked about any gasoline ignition. I talked about electronics getting hit (e.g. the backlight), producing sparks. I also talked about chainreactions, not just A ignites B and boom. There was a lot of shaking, there was a lot of stuff in that trunk, including (presumably) the actual triggers that one would usually use to set of the C4. And most importantly, I talked about it being a 1 in a million (or whatever large number you want) luckyshot / lucky set of shots / lucky chain of events. As I said right at the beginning of my original answer, I totally agree with you that you could take any number of shots on a car without any explosion happening. All the experiments you mentioned could only ever proof, that it wouldn't normally happen. No experiment can ever proof that something can absolutely never under any circumstances whatsoever happen. Just like no experiment could ever proof that something would 100% always happen. For that you'd need a theoretical proof that no combination of materials and environmental influences present in the situation could ever lead to such a chain reaction. And until someone delivers such proof, I'll stand by what I said before: You're right in 99.999999% of times, but movies are all about what happens (or could happen) in that tiny fragment of a percent of other times.
@@lukasr5867 You are so right. I could even jump to the moon. If I try hard enough and often enough, maybe Captain Kirk will time travel back to 2027 (I've been trying for 3 solid years by then) and take pity on my 7 millionth jump and use his transporters to transport me to the moon. Yep. Anything is possible. But that doesn't make it sensible to film it repeatedly in every movie ever made, just about, and simply expect audiences to believe it over and over.
@@blakewalker84120 Dude ... a bit less sarcasm would look much better on you, if you're trying to communicate scientific facts. And just to be clear: My example doesn't need any hypothetical Sci-Fi influences to suddenly appear, it had everything right there in the car's trunk. It just needs a lucky moment for all the parts to fall together in the right way (at least I suspect so, and you haven't yet done anything to disprove that). As for the second part: Maybe you shouldn't watch Actionmovies, if explosions bother you so much. Maybe then you'd notice that there is a whole world full of non-exploding movies out there ... And you can't fault a single movie for something, just because too many movies do it.
Just FYI, you can shoot C4 all you want it will NOT blow up like that lol it needs a charge to go off. Its been tested many times and is very safe in that department.

For me, Rumble in the Bronx might be my favorite Jackie Chan movie based on:
Most stunts.
4 parts of this movie that really make me crack up laughing are:
1. When Carter starts dancing like Michael Jackson in the middle of the street after blowing the car up
2. When Lee and Carter are bonding and practicing disarming techniques while Edwin Starr's song "War" plays in the background
3. When Carter says "I know that ain't the bomb. Get that bomb away from me." Towards the end
4. Carter picking a verbal fight with the elderly Chinese cook
And trust me, the blooper reels for the remaining two movies are just as funny when it comes to the slip-ups with the dialogue.
Noises Off with Michael Caine, John Ritter, Carol Burnett, and Christopher Reeves. Physical comedy with a theater twist.
Legend of the Drunken Master (the newer one) is a must watch. It is a masterclass in his choreography and comedy.
There is one movie where Jackie doesn't do his own stunts due to an injury. The movie is "Thunderball" (1994), where he plays a raceway driver who doesn't fight, but races for a living (kinda like NASCAR).
Loved Your Reaction! Another Great Comedy with Chris Tucker is "Money Talks"(1997)
Also; "Bad Boys"(1995) another Comedy/Action Franchise with 3 sequels starring Will Smith & Martin Lawrence
Martin Lawrence movie "Blue Streak" is similar to this one, and I highly recommd it.
Your drinks to the top left are in the Irish tricolour!
Thanks, Verowak! 💨 Brett Ratner directed this one.
An underrated film with great physical comedy and a lot of heart is *THREE FUGITIVES (1989)*
watch Jackie Chan's stunt compilation. its crazy
Think with Jackie Chan he makes the stunts look easy but for average person, it would be difficult
To the average person, those stunts are not possible without a LOT of training 😂
Great reaction to a jackie chan chris tucker classic
There's a lot to list and likely already mentioned before me but one movie that I love for the stuntwork, fight scenes and choreography is Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon from 2000, it's a beautiful one to check out.
I've heard that movie mentioned a lot, I'll have to check it out
I look forward to it!
Subbed, many reactionaries are silly, but you are yourself and that's a REFRESHING change 😇
Thank you 🤩
3:24 You cannot detonate C-4 by shooting it.
2 and 3 are great as well,
More bloopers in the second film, enjoy. Another awesome buddy cop series is Lethal Weapon, all 4 films are a master piece.

19:27 well you know who'd win
Just FYI, you can shoot C4 all you want it will NOT blow up like that lol it needs a charge to go off. Its been tested many times and is very safe in that department.
Easy suggestion for more physical: rush hour 2 lol
Of course there are the other two Rush hour movies. There is also a set of two movies with Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. The first ones called Shanghai Noon and the second one Shanghai knights
Rush Hour 1 and 2 were good, but 3 sucked
Kungfu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer.
I think the John Wayne thing is a little joke considering Jackie played the character Chon Wang in the movie Shanghai Noon which is an obvious play on that name. Should check out that fun movie too imo.
Rush Hour was filmed BEFORE Shanghai Noon.
@@cherylcohen5700 Oh whoops
Definitely watch all the outtakes if you watch them all lol they're by far the best 😂
I really like how you do trivia at the end. Never seen a reactor do this.
If you enjoy that, watch Shanelle Riccio. She does it after every reaction, too.
You should watch Rumble In the Bronx.
The whole Rush Hour trilogy holds up, so I hope you watch them all! A lot of people even say Part 2 is even better than the first.
You want to see good stunts, watch Ong Bak. Tony Jaa is amazing and a genuine muay Thai fighter.
Watched these movies at the cinema when released, great days
It's a good day when I can watch you react ... in a non creepy way of course ;) lol.
I'm sure I've never seen the third movie, but #2 is good.
I'd recommend Shanghi Knights with Chan and Owen Wilson :)
I highly recommend The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis and Chris Tucker, if you haven't watched it yet. Another buddy comedy but sci-fi.
FUN FACT: C4 doesn't explode without a trigger. Shooting at it doesn't do anything.
You will absolutely love Rush hour 2
Really good stunts done by the actress herself. "Death Proof"
Thank you. Love seeing you "kids" react to movies I loved. Especially when you are near the age I was, while you are watching it now!! Been enjoying your adorable reactions since last summer. Hair. Your hair length was the reason I started this comment. LOL! So much longer. As a bald man... I'm... just pointing it out...
Checkout a movie called “Cannonball Run” for a fun movie with a great blooper sequence at the end. Movie came out in 1981 with some big name entertainers in it. Cheers
Great comedy with both actors at their peak in their careers. It seems Canadians generally are so very nice, as an American we could learn a thing or two about courtesy, kindness and respect.
Aside from this, I have no idea what else Chris Tucker is in, I'll have to find out
The Fifth Element. @@VerowakReacts
@@VerowakReactshe was in a movie called “Money Talks” with Charlie Sheen, he was in a movie called “Friday” with the rapper Ice Cube. He was in the “The Fifth Element” with Bruce Willis and he was in a movie called Silver Lining’s Playbook
You should check out 'Rumble in the Bronx' and 'Who Am I?'
Rumble in Vancouver? 😂
Jackie always seems to enjoy his film making....try 'The Tuxedo' next...very funny and the outtakes at the end crack me up every time
Super reaction. You have such a catchy smile. Thanks.
3:27 that explosion is too small, that amount of C4 would have demolished the entire neighborhood
The C4 scene explosion is too large in real life. C4 doesn't explode at all without a trigger. 👍
Naked Gun has some great physical comedy. Shanghai Noon is basically Rush Hour but with Owen Wilson instead of Chris Tucker and it's set in 1800s wild West. Super Troopers and Ace Ventura films kinda fit that category as well.
No, Ace Ventura blows all of those movies outta the water. It’s in a class by itself
I haven't seen this for years, forgot how fun it was! I had a proper laugh out loud at the scene where he gives him his police ID. I think they're working on a new one.
you should definitely check out 'Police Story 3' it's Jackie and Michele Yeoh, who's a bad ass in her own right
undercover blues
Top Secret is a great physical comedy type of movie in the same sub genre as spaceballs, naked gun, airplane, some of Mel Brooke’s movies, etc
Yes, Naked Gun was the last actual good “slapstick comedy” movie
After the Rush Hour movies, try Shanghai Noon.
If you want physical comedy and enjoy the Three Stooges, you could be the first on youtube to react to Brain Donors, a very slapstick movie about the ballet :3
Meals on Wheels/ Spanish Connection has stunts.
If you love stunts you check out Jackie Chans "Chinese Zodiac" it's a fun movie that celebrates his stunt work in the credits
was a great video! loved your reaction
Hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
I am, thank you!!! I hope you are too 🤩
Love this movie.
It's one that I'll rewatch, that's for sure
33:14 Watch Johnny English if you wanna watch more physical comedy
