Thank you David! I passed my PMP exam today and felt very comfortable going in due to all of your videos I watched. I even "heard" your voice as I was reading the questions and then evaluating the answer choices. Keep up the great work! 👏
I passed my PMP on Friday and I just wanted to send you a thank you. I have learned so much from you, you are truly a wonderful instructor and definitely have amazing skill in delivery. All the appreciation goes out to you! You are remarkable! Thank you again for all your efforts!
There is something about David's style of coaching that makes learning fun. I have tried many other learning sources, but no one could capture my attention like David does because he is engaging and motivating at the same time. I am truly in appreciation of all the efforts he puts into making these videos. I plan to take mine in about 2 months. Hopefully I can make it. Any tips, suggestions or advice anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Many congratulations. Were the questions similar to David's videos , specifically, 2000 agile, 100 waterfall and 150 pmbok series? Also did you get formula based questions? Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
I passed my PMP exam today (after only a week of studying) and it is mostly thanks to your videos. thank you so much david for putting out such great content 🙏🏼

Hi Michael, I passed my PMP exam last Friday, 25/10/2024, and revisited your RUclips channel to leave a comment and say thank you. Your content is top-notch, your voice inspires confidence, and the course is well-organized. I’m currently working as a Design Manager in civil infrastructure, and I pursued the course to earn my certification. Please let me know if you’re planning to offer a PMI-CP course as well, as that would be my next goal. Best regards and warm wishes,
David, thank you for your videos and your Udemy course. Between the two of them and studying the PMBOK (Cover to cover), I passed my exam Friday! Your approach is encouraging and provides repetition in the material. That's how it all becomes familiar and I was able to recall answers to questions I didn't know from experience. You're right, we can do it. Thank you!
Dear David McLachlan, Your PMP course on Udemy is one of the best. Your energy and positivity while teaching, especially during the test explanations, really motivate students. I can watch your videos for hours without feeling tired. I’ve been preparing for the PMP exam for months, but I'm still not fully prepared since English is my second language. My exam date is December 7th, and I’m feeling quite stressed. Lately, I’ve been focusing mainly on practice tests, and I really enjoy the drag-and-drop tests as I learn a lot from them. My challenge is understanding the scenarios, as my limited English skills take up much of my time. I hope I can succeed in the exam and perform well with timing. I just wanted to say that you are the best! Thank you,
Just passed my PMP exam today at the first attempt! Thank you David for all your wonderful videos on RUclips and lectures on Udemy! You made my learning so fun. I enjoyed seeing you struggle with the mathematics questions whether you faked that or it's real! Ha.
Hi David, thanks a lot for all your efforts. I have mostly gone thru your videos and they are all so usefull. I have just passed my PMP exam. Best of luck,
Many congratulations. Were the questions similar to David's videos , specifically, 2000 agile, 100 waterfall and 150 pmbok series? Also did you get formula based questions? Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
I have cleared the PMP exam in the 1st attempt. Your 150 questions and 200 agile questions videos helped me to pass the exam. I am writing a comment to thank you very much for your support.
Could you please advise on what more to study other than his videos? I have watched his 200, 150 and 110 questions videos. I am planning to attempt in December.
I have a question David. I had viewed your PMP mindset video earlier and I remember one of the points mentioned was to always ask stakeholders about their communication preference. So, one of the questions I encountered on my PMI mock test was something where stakeholder was complaining about having to attend so many iteration review meetings. One of the answers was something like ask the stakeholders how they would want to be engaged and update the stakeholder engagement/communication plan. That's what I chose. However it was the wrong answer. The correct answer was something like explain the benefit of more reviews and feedback in identifying errors and maintaining quality. I am so confused on how the mindset would apply to this question.
Dear David, I pass PMP exam studying his videos, now I am studying to get Six sigma Black Belt what RUclips channel do u recomend? Thanks for his time and his amazing videos
Hello David, your videos gave us the knowledge and idea about the PMP, but being a construction professional I have a question, what path should i choose is it PMI-CP or PMI-PMP, which will be best.
Quick question: How can the scope management plan be created without a scope statement? Shouldn't the scope statement be created first? Referring to the question at 1:43:57 in the video above. The scope management plan is a larger document that contains the scope statement. So how can it be created before the scope statement is created?
A Scope Management Plan is a key component of the overall project management plan in PMP (Project Management Professional) that outlines how the scope of a project will be defined, developed, monitored, controlled, and verified. It provides guidelines on how the project’s scope will be managed throughout the project lifecycle
The Scope Statement is a detailed document that defines the project's objectives, deliverables, boundaries, constraints, and assumptions. It outlines what the project will achieve and provides a clear understanding of the expected outcomes.
I’ve been following your videos, and my scores on the practice PMI exams have improved tremendously-averaging around 93-95%! However, I still failed the actual PMP exam, and now I’m completely confused. What am I missing? How can I pass the practice exams so well but fail the real thing again?
Again, how can a schedule management plan be created before the list of activities, sequence the activities and estimate the durations? @David it'd be great if you could clear these doubts. 1:45:07. Thanks
Could you explain the order of ceremonies in Question 5 in detail? The provided answer lists them as follows: 1. Sprint Planning 2. Daily Scrum 3. Backlog Refinement 4. Sprint Review 5. Retrospective. I think Backlog Refinement should be last, at number 5.
Haha agree. The Barnum effect I think. But the main point here is "people can be different", so understand and work with those differences, and you'll get good results 🙂
