What an amazing home sim! I could only dream of a setup like this…
Thanks for your comment. This has been a long journey. I started more than 25 years ago with just some basic yoke and pedals, so who knows where your journey will take you to?
just absolutely stunning
Thanks for the kind words.
Great video Thierry and the music is perfect
Thanks. Yes I really like the music from Jeremy Harvey.
thank you very much for the information provided
Christos
You are welcome!
Very nice!
Thank you!
Absolutely Amazing! Just wrote to Vier Im Pott to get some quotes. Thank you for sharing!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Let me know if you have any questions. The best way to reach out would be via the Contact Us page on our website (link in the video description). Good luck with your project!
Will do. Also getting a quote from Skarlarki hopefully will have it by June 2024. Thank you!@@captaintango
Very nice sim. Certainly out of my budget, but it's a very impressive setup you have there. Maybe one day I will be sucessful enough in life to buy something like this. You have inspired me, as to what is possible. Anyway, happy flying!
Thanks. Maybe one day!
Simply amazing! Dunno when I can come up with a similar setup. if anything, it's just the center bracket that kills it for me, but not a show stopper :) Beautiful!
Thanks. Yeah I had to go with the center overhead stand due to the limited space.
Amazing. That's got to be a heck of a rush to fly
Thanks. It is a lot of fun to fly, especially with 2 pilots.
Well done. Just subbed!
Thanks. Much appreciated.
Fantastic job very well done . I Too have a home a320 cockpit its the Fenix in my VR headset its awesome .
Thanks. Glad to hear you are enjoying your VR experience.
Beautiful. I dream to have a home cockpit one day. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks. I sure hope your dream comes true as it did for me!
Fantastic job my friend! Quality stuff right here. I have a 737 home cockpit sim myself. It’s still a work in progress. It seems like it’s never ending! 😂
Thanks. I hear you. I always have "just one more thing" to add and like it that way.
How tf does this not have more views!
Good question 😀
Seen a lot of home sim vids, but is it really an Airbus unless they have the tray tables! Awesome one, cheers!
Thanks! It's currently a Captain only privilege, but that works for me 😀
Love it love love it😢😂❤️
Thank you. Much appreciated.
That door. Ha! *clicks pen*
I'm glad you liked it!
Hello, i was just thinking about investing in the skalarki center pedestal and sidestick of the captain side and was wondering what materials you used for your base because you obviously have to install them and if you had the dimensions. Would be a great help. Thanks
My sidesticks came from Vier-Im-Pott and were already mounted in their fiberglass base when I got them. This being said I'd be happy to measure the dimensions for you. The easiest way would be for you to fill in our contact form here: www.flightpathsimulation.club/contact-us/
Hi Sir. Are you able to simulate Engine Failure After takeoff or Dual Fmgc failures in this Sim? What software are you using to run it?
The A320 software I am using is called JeeHell FMGS. It is freeware for personal use and doesn't really support failures. ProSim offers an A320 paid license for home use which supports numerous failures and an instructor station.
Are you planning to record some of your flights and upload them? I would love to watch that for hours :)
For now most of the videos on this channel are from flights we did stream during the WorldFlight charity event last November. You can find them under the Live section. They are also grouped in one convenient Playlist.
Looking forward, we will soon have new videos showing the cockpit in action during a full flight with 2 pilots. Beyond those we are looking at a new project but can't share more information quite yet. Stay tuned though as it should be a unique series of adventures!
If you have any suggestions for things you'd like to see, we certainly encourage all our viewers to use the comment section to share your ideas!
Here is a full flight video: ruclips.net/video/FKb7312sAm4/видео.html
Do you use xplane or msfs2020? This is amazing, I want this one day. It even prints!! That’s crazy haha awesome
I am actually still running P3D currently as the A320 freeware I'm using does not support MSFS 2020 quite yet.
And, yes, it sure does print: ruclips.net/video/rIGN2qXigZE/видео.html
This is truely astonishing. It's like you ripped off the flight deck of a real a320 and inserted it into that room! This must be a dream come true. I've got one question though. How much money would you estimate for it to be to make a flight-simulator-room like that?
Thanks for your kind words. I discuss the cost of my home cockpit in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZeIV5dp3UBo/видео.html
@@captaintango Okay. Thanks!
Great job 👏. How can I buy this setup. I live in Florida ?
Thanks. You can find more information about the setup, including a list of parts (with suppliers) on my website:
www.flightpathsimulation.club/a320-cockpit/
www.flightpathsimulation.club/a320-parts-list/
If you have more questions, feel free to reach out using the Contact Us page:
www.flightpathsimulation.club/contact-us/
Whats the screen where you can see speed and altitude called?
The screen with the speed tape on the left and the altitude tape on the right is called the Primary Flight Display (PFD).
AMAZING
What PC do you have ?
The main PC, which runs the sim, is currently an Intel Core I9-11900K, with 32 GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX3090. I built it in 2021. I have two additional PCs, with much lower specs, running all the A320 simulation, including all the cockpit screens. One runs the Captain side and ECAMs, the other one runs the FO side.
Amazing
Thanks
This is very nice, you play vatsim with this and if so how is it with such a setup?
Thanks for your comment. Yes I do, somewhat infrequently, fly on VATSIM. The audio from VATSIM is directly connected (via a virtual audio cable) to the fully functional intercom system, meaning that you can hear the controllers on all headsets as well as the cockpit speakers, the volume is controlled by the appropriate knobs on the Audio Control Panels (ACP), and the various push-to-talk switches all work. It is a very immersive experience.
@@captaintango That’s absolutely amazing, thanks for the reply! Congratulations for earning yourself such an amazing sim.
Is it possible to fly this on Vatsim?
Absolutely. I have the VATSIM audio directly connected to the intercom system, so all occupants (pilots and jumpseater) can hear it, via separate headphones or the cockpit speakers behind the MIP. Push-to-talk buttons on the sidesticks and the Audio Control Panels are all functional.
Looks very nice. How much did you purchase the cockpit for?
I discuss the cost of the cockpit in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZeIV5dp3UBo/видео.html
@@captaintango thank you
Sure thing!
Where can I purchase this setup? And how much? 😅
Most hardware is from Vier-Im-Pott. They resell the electronics from Skalarki. The seats are from Opencockpits. Prices are available on their websites.
For more details, I discuss the cost of my home cockpit in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZeIV5dp3UBo/видео.html
i'm wondering could this be used with x-pane?
Absolutely. I don't have any direct experience but the hardware is supported in X-Plane. One possible challenge would be around running all the cockpit instruments (most cockpit builder software allows you to run those on separate computers).
@@captaintango i'll fugure out that later, i need tose +100k for the cockpit first, LOL, my pilot salary won't buy it in less than two years.
LOL. Understood.
Right now I can't even afford the grip for the sidestick
We all start small. Keep adding a few things here and there to your simulator when you can.
Are you using proline?
The electronic panels are from Skalarki, the structure, rudder pedals, sidestick, and tiller from Vier-Im-Pott. You can find more details at www.flightpathsimulation.club/a320-parts-list/
@@captaintango yes I mean the software what software are you using to run 3 tv plus 3 MIP screens plus 2 mcdus at the same time? Does p3d allows you do to all that at the same time or you are using another software for example I’m going to use msfs2020 and I think I need proline i can not use one pc far all this screens video card rtx4090 only has 4 ports
Oh, I see. P3D only runs the external views on the three large TVs. The A320 simulation is all running outside of P3D and on networked computers. So I have a main computer running P3D, a second one running the captain side (including the two ECAMs), and a third one running the FO side. It's a freeware called JeeHell FMGS. It currently only supports P3D but will eventually support MSFS2020. You can find more details about the overall architecture at www.flightpathsimulation.club/a320-cockpit/
I am not familiar with ProLine, maybe you meant ProSim?
I’d pay to have someone set this up
I believe some suppliers offer the full "white glove" treatment, including assembling everything on site. It's probably a pretty penny though.
Is this through Flight Deck Solutions in Canada? Do you live in the US or outside?
Most of the parts came from Vier-Im-Pott in Germany. I do live in the US.
How much do all the items cost?❤
You can find more info about the cost of my setup in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZeIV5dp3UBo/видео.html
Where to buy ?
There are other vendors but I used Vier-Im-Pott: www.vier-im-pott.com/en/home
How much does all this cost?
I discuss the cost of the sim in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZeIV5dp3UBo/видео.html
I’d love to know the total cost of this!
It's around $70k for my particular configuration. The cost will depend on which vendor you select, what options you choose, and where you are (shipping cost and taxes).
For more details, I discuss the cost of my home cockpit in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZeIV5dp3UBo/видео.html
No background music please.... We want to hear the flight sounds 😄
Haha, sure, I have a few other videos for that.
Can you guess how many shades of green I am?
50 shades of green?
3 greens, no red?
God. Awful loud music. Would love to watch but literally unbearable.
You know that you can turn down the volume on whatever device you are watching the video on, right?
