@@cameron-w due to the unsymmetrical force caused on one of the two engines either right or left causes a yaw. In this case you can't use reverse thrust, this is a real procedure

I've done a full motion 737-800 simulator at EFS Chicago and it was really cool. I did a full flight from DFW-MIA.

This was such a fun and enjoyable video, I hope you fly these full motion simulators again!
I've flown full motion sims for a total of 11 hours in the A320 and A330, brilliant fun.
Super cool! One thing I've always noticed about these sims are the unrealistically dark cockpits (like you're in a movie theatre without dome lights), I understand the projector screens can only give off so much light but I wondered if someone ever tried putting super-bright LED's in between the cockpit and the screens to really give off a sunshine effect and also help light up the cockpit somewhat for daytime.
Besides that, I drool over these sims. Props!
Also, I realize these sims are more for training purposes than they are for immersion, and glare would probably be an issue as well. Cheers!
@@UOTCbassist im sure people tried that but i guess it would look very unrealistic. As they main image where the light should come from still is dark while some lamps burn your eyes :D

I literally can't stop laughing.
So actually, when I flew home from Lisbon to Munich in an A321, I visited the pilots pre-flight. The huge surprise was when I was invited to the cockpit in-flight. I was allowed to stay there even during landing, got to press a few buttons and do the parking checklist. Best flight of my life.

It's not only about the earn. It's about the feeling, the feeling of the real flight experience. Sims are sure close to real, but still not real. So he won't be able to get that by being a RUclipsr or in a simulator, he is already doing training flights too, so I am sure he will be a commercial aviation pilot one day *(I hope then he doesn't land on short runways too)*

I did something similar to this.
I went to Ness Aviation in Inverness Scotland and I got into a boeing 737 simulator and I had fun.
If you're in Inverness, I highly recommend going there.
P.s I think there's one in Glasgow too.

I wonder if the procedure was to throttle down the engine 1 throttle then use the fire suppressant and then also cut the fuel off of the engine 1 so the fire would not spread or get out of control something like that lmao. but this is still pretty awesome.

Fun fact: the sim is using Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v5 for visuals. There were Aerosoft EDDF Professional and ORBX LOWI in the video
Was it the Aerosoft Airbus or the FSL?
@@goldenstateaviation2861 none of them. It most probably uses Prosim, which is a professional software made for real simulators and it runs externally (a seperate program). It then uses P3D, XPlane or MSFS for scenery and visuals.
@@branimirfilovski8388 there are other programs for P3d which is why most full cockpits run on P3d but most of the time it’s prosim. Prosim doesn’t run on xplane aswell
