Man that storyline that you created around this amazing flight is just fantastic. Mostly I just start and land my planes in MSFS and I am very proud of myself when the landing was not a crash. And great to see you back in business 👍
As a child I got a chance on almost every flight to spend 10-20 minutes in the cockpit about 8 times per year for 8 years between 1988 and 1996. Later az an adult thanks to my sister working for Malév, I could travel to Gothenburg from Budapest sitting in the cockpit with the pilots the whole time. Now in the last 2 years I travel to Denmark every 3 months for work. This Video was fantastic and super realistic. Love that you kept changing the point of view from time to time.
I stayed in the cockpit for a whole flight [Montpellier-Paris] about 15 years ago, just after asking; the only reason I can think of as to why I was allowed in is that I had some (cheap!) Aviator-looking sunglasses in the pocket of my blazer - must have looked the part!! Anyway; amazing to see the (high) frequency at which the pilots had to switch radio frequencies. There was a TCAS alert at some point while approaching the airport, but the pilots were aware of the traffic. Never managed to get inside a cockpit even for a second since then; but I didn't have those sunglasses...
Best flight sim video ever....showcases how far MSFS has come. Amazing. And not forgetting fantastic piloting and realistic 3rd party addons, and brilliantly edited too. Your at the top of your game mate - more please!
The graphics are unbelievable. I started 1985 with MS Flight Simulator 2 (!!) on my Commodore 64 with 38kB free RAM 😂 selective rare buildings were just barely wired constructions. And now, reality pure. I stopped buying and playing it with the MSFS 2000 Pro version. After that, no more time for it. Just working, working, relation, working..... Well, such is life. But I still love watching those flighsim vids. Really amazes me
I passed a few certifications with the MSFS 2000 Pro version - last simulator for me as well. More recently (perhaps 7 years ago) I tried some sort of moving platform + VR goggles in a mall in Bucharest; the problem I had is that I immediately renounced just playing a sim in a normal chair, no matter the level of graphics. The immersion was just irreplaceable. . The VR googles were not really immersive given the somewhat limited resolution. But that platform. . WOW. Wow, breathtaking 🤯. Pyreegue EGNX and the fenix, what could we ask more. Can't believe the lads at fenix are planning to make it visually better with block 2. That car part must have been really hard to make. Keep up the great work 😊.
The degree of visual realism and flight deck detail in MSFS 2024 is jaw-dropping for this long-time user of Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 which is now two decades old. Love the humor and that approach into Gibraltar was a white-knuckle ride for sure.
That close call with the car on the runway (of course - it was a Mercedes driver) was quite exciting. I did not expect anything like that in flight simulator.
