In a rape conception situation, there are three people involved: the perpetrator, the victim, and the baby conceived. Who deserves to be killed? The perpetrator? Maybe... The victim? Certainly not! The baby? Certainly not as well. Innocent parties should not be killed.

I don't understand how foster care is related? Are unwanted babies put in the foster care system after they are born? I am unaware of such a thing. My understanding is that the foster care system is for children who are in abusive or neglectful homes or are orphaned. And I am also aware that there a many many people who are waiting many years so that the can adopt an unwanted baby. So, I feel lik that is a separate topic. Many children in the foster care system aren't even legally allowed to be adopted yet because their parents haven't officially lost their rights yet.

when i was going through a miscarriage i had to go to a women's clinic, and there were a bunch of prolifers outside yelling and handing out little toy embryo babies trying to get me to "stop," when i wasn't even there for an abortion. i don't think prolifers realize that women's clinics aren't just for abortions, women go there for normal checkups, medicine, breast screenings, menstrual issues and more. even if a woman was going there for an abortion, that's her choice to make. but the last f*cking thing a woman who is miscarrying wants to see is a bunch of people calling her a monster and then trying to hand her tiny toy babies. it's so traumatizing. prolifers don't ever consider the lives of the people they're screaming at and trying to control, and it's almost laughable how much they contradict themselves.

I've seen how people turn a blind eye on these victims and have no consideration of the trauma the victims have to go through. Okay girl in blue was a victim of rape and she wanted her baby, which she chose, should her baby have survived what trauma would the baby grow up with knowing it's a result of something that should've never happened. This should be a topic discussed with religion pushed aside period, if you're a prolifer because you believe in saving humans then go and adopt some humans that are in the foster care. Just because you take away the option of abortion for woman doesn't mean it isn't going to happen, you just put woman at a higher risk of death from performing backyard abortions. Deaths in woman performing unsafe abortions are taking away human life, where does the line lie when it comes to taking a life.

It's shameful of the anti abortion people to say abortion shouldn't be legalised for rape or incest survivors. Just coz the girl who was raped wanted to keep the child, doesn't mean everyone does. Some people will keep living with that trauma. Ending up with having a kid which will always remind u of that criminal, what if u never love that kid. Imagine the trauma that kid will go through.

(This is in regards to your comments about the privileged and educated seeking abortions. Those who live in poverty / have lower education deserve a more nuanced conversation.) Abortion access literally saved my life when I was 14 (TW: I was SA'ed by 3 guys in a hs bathroom after a pep rally) and I am forever so thankful for it and have never regretted it for a second. Just putting this out there- to any other women/girls who are in the US (or outside) and are terrified of what the future may hold for themselves or their daughters or mothers (or men who are worried for the safety of their gf, wife, sister, etc), Aid Access is legit organization that provides ahead-of-time care (meaning you don't currently have to be pregnant for them to send you the medication, no questions asked).
I have both a friend and relative who've ordered from them to have it on-hand in case of emergency, because they both have suffered life-threatening pregnancy complications in the past and currently live in a state where they are trying to prohibit abortion EVEN if your life is at stake. Please be safe, think ahead for your safety and those you love, and take care of yourself.

Just because you can take care of a baby or want a baby doesn’t mean that everyone can. Everyone’s experiences are different. Also this is another point that I don’t see anyone making but I’m going to put it here for people to see/interact with.
      TW RAPE and SUICIDE MENTIONED
I constantly see people saying “Well what about the baby.” “It’s a life.” But what about the mother’s life or the father’s? I hardly see (not saying people don’t but I’m saying I personally don’t see this a lot) people wanting to provide care for those parents. What about the victims of Rape or etc? They are all “pro-life” when it comes to abortion but what about the people who are suffering? If someone is truly Pro-Life then they need to put as much time and effort into helping people as they do talking about the wrongs of abortion. What about a child who was raped at 13 and they get pregnant? They never wanted a baby and still don’t. Should that child really go through 9 whole months of labor when they didn’t even want it in the first place? According to some people they would say yes. Yet what happens after that child is born? Are they going to help? Probabaly not. They only seem to care about life when it comes to abortion. What about the thousands of people who die from suicide? What about people who have lost their homes and are now on the street? No one seems to care about those people but as soon as someone wants to get an abortion they care about life?

Of course I do see the mothers opinion being a bit more important but this is the most important choice of both parents lives, It is not just about if the woman should give birth, it is about a child existing or not, it is about being a parent or not, it is about the rest of there lives and if they are ready to take on such an incredible responsibility

I understand rape is a terrible horrible thing that no one should have to go through, but along with that no one should have to go through being murdered. Rape is a violent crime that is not consented too, so why is murdering a helpless baby okay? There is always the option of adopting, which I feel like is being hushed. There are many couple who want to adopt for many reasons, including not being able to have their own children. I personally think it is very selfish to murder a child because it will be "inconvenient" for you.

@@caelielove2653 Who are you to tell what someone should or should not do with their body? Are you going to adopt it? Are you going to contribute and help ALL the people who are seeking an abortion? People have abortions for all types of reasons and everyone’s situation is different. Pregnancy itself is not a walk in the park, it takes a toll on a persons body physically and mentally. Please be mindful that abortion will never end only safe ones will. The fact is that 1 in 4 women will have an abortion at some point in their life

I personally don't agree with abortion in a lot of cases because it is a life, a growing person with potential. However, I believe the life, physical, and mental health of the woman is more important because at the end of the day she would have to take care of it, pay financially, and the experience could just overall be traumatic. Which is why I am PRO-CHOICE. While in my case I could choose not to get an abortion if I don't want to it is MY DECISION and my beliefs should not be forced upon others.

The asher is my spirit animal. the way he indecisively walks forward to agree and then back to disagree and then rejoins to agree to whatever topic. Purely and truly me. (Decisions are harb :{ )
