- Danish marimbist Anders Elten performs Johan Bridger's arrangement of the famous 24th caprice by N. Paganini.
I recently found this old (2017) video hiding on my Google Drive - the project was never completely finished, and unfortunately the resolution is a bit on the poor side. However, I thought it might be worth the upload anyway. I hope you enjoy!

The control of how heavy/light your playing is world class😮
Thanks a lot! I focus a lot on those principles, so happy that you noticed it :)
I absolutely love the part where the pizzicato is played with the mallet shaft! Clearly lots of thought went into this piece
not only mastery of the technique but brilliant mastery of the music!
You are a marimba phenomena !!!!! I am SO inspired by your flawless and musical execution!!!!!
I almost disliked because of how jealous I am.
Lol
Bro needs to start practicing
Increíble !!! Mil felicitaciones !!! Queda espectacular en la marimba semejante obra para violín de Paganini !!! Un virtuosismo extremo !!!Saludos y felicitaciones

absolutely amazing.
This is so beautiful.
Just superb!
This is one of my favorite arrangements and I burst into tears once I heard you play, my heart swelled up with so much emotion I could not contain it. Please tell me the sheet music is available
I'll follow you till I am!
Your "time sense", your touches, your colors... never listened at anything like this! In italian we can say: "TU SEI UNA SCINTILLA DI DIO".
Such a good performance!
Great playing!!
Incredible
Umbelivable!! 😳
I'm impressed by the hours spent to perform this
Thanks, it was quite the journey to learn it indeed!
What mallets are these? I would like to use them!!
Sure, the mallets are from Resta-Jay Percussion, France, and are from the Johan Bridger series (3x orange in top) and Jean Geoffroy series (1x blue mallet bass). The mallets are excellent quality, especially for "classical" repertoire, in my opinion :)
my shoulders would have collapsed in the mid way through
Absolutely SENSATIONAL!
