For those who are replacing the battery or disconnecting the battery there's a brown clip you got to pull up on before you pull out the battery and in video where you seen he pulled the battery without releasing the clip don't do that because you can damage the port he was lucky he didn't damage the port
Hello! Just to make sure it’s a 6/7th gen iPod classic? If your having issues with your max not detecting your iPod try and use a different cable if that doesn’t work try a different computer if you have access to another one. 1tb of storage is quite unstable so if you can’t get it working worst case I would try and go with 512gb which is what I found to be pretty stable!
Hi i try doing the same thing with the same ipod and the same adapter and the same card and I get the sad face on the ipod after, but can't get it to restore on iTunes, help pls
Hello, did you try and format the sd card with a mac first? Formating the sd csrd should help then you should be able to flash it with iTunes. These ipods are a pain to mess witt sometimes lol.

You don't actually need to, elite obsolete says to just pull it out because the brown clip breaks easily
Thanks for this! I just picked up a 5th gen iPod and can't wait to rip my cds onto it. 😊
@estherp4867 No problem, good luck and make sure you take your time!

Amazing Gavin
He made the opening so easy.
Amazing.
But it is very a difficult task to get it open 👐 as he does it.
I have replaced my 160gb iPod with a one TB ssd. But my Mac couldn't detect it. Please advice. Thank you.
