Hey guys whats up XxwookiedancerxX here, back at it again with another EPIC gameplay commentary. BUTTTT before we get into the action be sure to SMASH that like button and hit subscribe... and while you're there ring that bell!
I have a 4th gen monochrome iPod classic with quite the story. So first I ordered a battery for it and installed that battery, then it turned out the 30 pin connector was barely attached, yet I managed to solder it back on! The iPod could no longer synch but I could at least charge it, which was fine since the old drive was still functional and had music on it. After a few days the hard drive died and I set the iPod aside. 3 months later I got the idea of taking the hard drive out of the iPod and slamming it against my table with moderate force, when I put the hard drive back in, to my surprise the iPod booted right up! About 3 hours later the drive died again. The next day I tried to “fix” the iPod for a third time by once again slamming the drive against the table. The iPod booted again and has been working ever since.
@@EliteObsolete On every video I watch the upgrade will be a micro SD card into an adapter into the sd card slot. I would like to use a Sandisk Sd card directly into the sd card slot. Will I be the first known being to do this? Additionally would it matter if I got the 120MB/s or the 170MB/s card. My hypothesis is that it will matter for transferring the songs initially but after that it would be unnoticeable in the device.
Your videos are great. I'm using them to repair my iPod. I have a 80 GB iPod video and when I replaced the LCD, I had a mishap with my battery cable. The contact had slipped out of the socket and touched the hard disk, causing a small spark. I think it rendered the HDD useless and I possibly tore the ribbon cable as well. So I just ordered a iflash solo board and tarkan ribbon cable from your store. Hopefully I don't mess it up 😅
I've put in my iflash quad card with a 512 gb sdxc card in my ipod 160 gb but itunes does not detect the ipod...i get only 2 messages saying ' do not disconnect ' and afterwards ' ok to disconnect ' and nothing further...how can i solve this problem ?
I am so inCREDIBLY frustrated. I broke 2 iPod motherboards so far (A 5th gen I was trying to restore, and a 7th gen I was using) trying that latch thing with the brown ribbon connector for the battery and was on my way to break the third new one yesterday trying to save my iPod 7th Gen 160GB . So much disaster could have been averted. Hmm. Now I need to order a new battery for the 7th Gen. 650mAH or 850mAH?
I would be using a Black 5th gen Black with 128GB SD but iTunes refuses to format it, it just won’t pop up in a timely manner. And when I do format it and install the OS, it still won’t work. Using an official iFlash btw
im currently using a 5.5 gen with the original hard drive and a transparent green 3d printed resin faceplate, looks kind of like an old Xbox with the black clickwheel
I use a 6th gen classic 80gb but I feel like the hard drive is dying as one day it said no music and had to restore it lol so I think ima buy a pre built 😁 as I don’t have the hands to do it myself sadly
I collect and resurrect some ipods... A 3rd gen, 4th gen U2 monochrome, 4th gen photo, and a 5.5 gen thick one for daily driver. All using cheapo adapters with 64/128gb microsd. Good content. Liked and subbed
Is it ok to use iFlash CF board with the red CF adapter and SD/micro SD combo? I plan to use it for my 5.5 80Gb iPod. I have that cheap board from China and it is working. But somehow either that board or my memory card is making my files disappear as soon as the card is filled up with files.
I have the thick iPod Classic 6th gen with 160GB. got a thin 7th gen same capacity. wanna mod them to 500 GB each. that's the ambition. for some damn reason, my one podcast just won't play all the episodes and just skips -.- anyway yeah. that's my current set up

I use a white 5.5 daily, 128gb iflash solo, with a dark mode iPod Wizard theme as my daily
only the best for the best of the best

My favorite iPod youtuber, on the podium with Dank!
You can find my store linked in Dank's descriptions!

I love the edits, btw.
I would have laughed if you managed to accidentally send the clip flying doing the battery up the "proper" way.
the ipod i use right now is a zune 420

I'm in process to restore my ipod's
3th gen, 4th gen and 7th gen thank's for the advice...
Nice Video, I had few iPods but favorite one is The 7gen iPod Classic 🤙🏽
Anywhere to find hard plastic instead of metal backs. Better bluetooth signal strength
Pendleton had a video
keycaps?
ipod 5.5 gen
You and Dank convinced me to dig out my old 5.5, mod and restore it back to its glory. And to that, I thank you gentlemen
did you?
@Garv Chaudhary yes actually. I installed a tarkan iFlash solo, installed a new battery and new face plate. Still using it since I've restored it
im currently using a 5.5 gen with the original hard drive and a transparent green 3d printed resin faceplate, looks kind of like an old Xbox with the black clickwheel
Goddamn it! I was gonna make a video on that sketchy adapter but oh well. Anyway great vid
still fair game. working 2GB ipod ? ?
iPod mini 1st gen 16gb cf
Anyone know what keyboard that is??
I use a 6th gen classic 80gb but I feel like the hard drive is dying as one day it said no music and had to restore it lol so I think ima buy a pre built 😁 as I don’t have the hands to do it myself sadly
Loved it , liked it and subscribed
Aight bro, I'm using an iPod Photo, it's got a big ole THIRTY GIG drive in her and she serves me well.
:-)
Silver Nano 6th gen, pink 2nd gen Mini, red 7th gen Touch, black 5.5 gen, and a 4th gen. In the car I usually whip out one of my fleet of Nanos.
I use a white 5.5 with an iflash solo

aw man you got all the nice ipods, except a 1st or 2nd gen

Did it work?
Nice work!
Original SD spec went to 4gb. There are non- HC 4GB SD cards for sale online. Usually slightly overpriced. Why you would want ONLY 4gb I do not know
I have a playlist that's under 4GB, and it helps if all you want is just one playlist.
Still going to use the new ATA1 for the iPod 4th gen. Anyway, F.
can you do a collab with dankpod?
20GB iPod Photo modded with the CHEEP board and a 64GB Samsung MicroSD....but as soon as my order arrived it will be getting a iFlash ATA1
I have the thick iPod Classic 6th gen with 160GB. got a thin 7th gen same capacity. wanna mod them to 500 GB each. that's the ambition. for some damn reason, my one podcast just won't play all the episodes and just skips -.- anyway yeah. that's my current set up
This works on iPod touch 2g?...
silver 6th gen 128gb
Music was too loud and voice was too soft
SINCE WHEN DOES HYUNDAI SELL SD CARDS?!
THEY MAKE CARS (and bootleg ipod shuffles)
since at least 2020
That editing 🔥
epic
a 3rd gen on its last leg.
1:03 I see a bit of davie504
3rd gen nano
Hyundai makes sd and micro sd cards and sell them? Never see them only on scam cards
F
I lasted 43 seconds before I had to hit pause. That “editing” is just awful...
Matt Cowan thank you
