The night where Cody went against A Town Down Under with a mystery partner, he walks out without KO. Grayson Waller asks him where his teammate is. Cody says "He's right here." (or something to that effect. Theory attacks Grayson while Cody walks away, and a match between Theory and Waller ensues.

Hard agree on Dom. What I've seen from him outside of TV makes me realise that he's not even using his full power right now. He's so insanely charismatic, his timing and delivery are amazing, he's so quick, and he knows his character so well.

Black and Gold NXT was the best wrestling we saw in NA since the early 2000s of the Ruthless Aggression Era + Ring of Honor's peak with Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, and CM Punk. It wasn't a "good feeding system" because the guy running the main roster was a criminal lunatic not because the stars in NXT couldn't bring it. Adam Cole in 2019 showed up on the main roster and instantly had a banger with Daniel Bryan.
Also, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Asuka, Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, Gunther, Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne, DIY, Tyler Bate, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Street Profits, Bronson Reed, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, and Bianca Belair ALL went through Black and Gold NXT. They absolutely created stars for the main roster, it was on the booker to use them well.
Oh 100%. If vince actually utilized the nxt stars then wwe would've been in a great place. Unfortunately vince was on his "make roman look strong" phase and gave others terrible gimmicks.

A much hotter take: CM Punk’s 434 day title run is better than Roman’s 1,313 day title run. At least Punk’s reign never felt like it got boring, considering the fact that had a good way of keeping things fresh throughout the entire run.

Roman's reign in 2020 was ok, aside of Jey feud, which was spectacular.
It was A+ in 2021.
It was meh in 2022, except the Sami saga.
The build up to Cody's matches matches in both 23 and 24 were A+
But the strech from April 23 to Jan 24 was TERRIBLE.
Overall a B+.
Roman is under rated. He carried the Covid era and brought in so many new fans, as well as old ones who most likely left because of their distaste with how the company handled Roman pre tribal chief.

Naaah.. Roman's title is definitely not overrated. The amount of talent he elevated during that reign... i mean look at jey... he made that title look so prestigious. The matches were so awesome. The character arc. The storyline. The promos. Even the end of that reign. Its either perfectly rated or underrated. Coz people hated his part time schedule
Tbf the only 2 people who got elevated were jey and sami with sami being the only one that has so far benefited from it(ic title win). Realistically roman long run has hurt more stars than helped cause wwe is severely lacking in top talent/heels because his run with his title halted a lot. I think his run is pretty good overall tho. I don't know if I'd ever call it underrated tho cause there were a lot of problems with it. I'd say it's properly rated or overrated depending on who ya talk to.

Severely overrated. It dragged out for too long, only elevated Jey and Sami, was boring/stagnant for half of the reign. I still think it's a great title reign, Top 10 actually, but definitely not the best.
How did Roman elevate Cody, Cena, Orton, Lesnar, KO, McIntyre, Rollins, Edge, and Daniel Bryan? Every guy I just listed was an established legend/main eventer/former world champion prior to facing Roman. Hell guys like cesaro(who got released soon after) strowman and Balor were worse off after their programs with roman ended. Really only Jey Uso and Sami got elevated by roman. Even Sami is a stretch cuz he elevated himself and the bloodline as a whole when he joined them in 2022
I think roman title reign is slightly overrated. There were problems like long hiatus and repetitive booking of his matches. But it's still a generation run and it's still the best title run of this century imo. The storylines it created, the careers it elevated including Roman himself the most..it's once in a lifetime stuff there.
Tbf the only careers elevated were sami and jey. More wrestkers got hurt than helped from his run.
I'd say Roman's reign is perfectly rated, this reign was none other like I have ever seen, from great matches to fantastic storytelling to big and believable opponents and there were moments when he actually thought Roman could lose, it had everything for the reign to make it great
I'd say it's slightly overrated. People kinda act like there was no flaws and out right change history with stuff like ignoring how bad the run was from summerslam 2021-mid2022 and acting like the his reign brought in way more views than it did ever since the beginning(the sami arc was what started bring in the huge views). Overall it's just a matter of opinion when it comes down to it.

Dom is definitely underrated. Not only got himself out of the huge shadow, he became one of the biggest heals, propelled Rhea to a whole new level and is now doing the same thing for Liv he literally turns into gold everything he touches.

Honestly, NXT 2.0 had a rocky (but admittedly hilarious) start; remember Jacket Time? But it's become a great show partially for becoming a hybrid of 2.0 and black and gold. They put on quality matches, and the characters and storytelling is a bit wacky/insane at times (in a good way tho; you don't get the silliness on the main roster or AEW). It's genuinely my favourite show to keep up with, helped by the Cultaholic Wrestling Podcast's dissection of everything on NXT

Even when raw vs sd had no build or i didn't care about build, i still turned on to see the matches themselves cuz i just love the concepts. I think war games is overrated now, only because the match has no stakes until everyone is in the rings, and it makes the whole first 40 minutes pointless. I think they should combine war games and the traditional SS tag match, to make a war games rules match that is elimination, and pins or submissions can happen at any time. That would make the first 80% of the match matter.
Weather it was underrated or overrated all i know is that it was DESERVED WWE has grew to have the most success that it’s had since the attitude era and that was lead by triple h Paul Heyman and Roman reigns
Triple H booking is similar , with the diference of the times, to the golden era booking. Top guys mostly wrestle at big moments and the weekly TV is to build the storys and the matches
