You should do this exact video for more legendary wrestlers who have done both roles and now retired: HHH, HBK, Stone Cold, Trish, Lita, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Bautista, Goldberg (I know only one heel run and it sucked, but I wish they’d tried it again at some point as I could have seen it working later if it had been booked better), Sting, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and many others. Love to see your opinions as to whether you think they were better as faces or heels. This way you can really avoid the recency bias too!
I think Randy Orton is relatively easy. He’s good as a babyface… but he’s an all timer as a heel. He thrives as a heel, you can see his comfortable ness when being a heel.

You guys just make me feel so OLD when you talk about wrestling ! I was fan from the beginning of the attitude era - literally Wrestlemania 13 and specifically Hart vs Austin was what got me hooked, i even managed to see an ECW show at the ECW arena, and was present at Wrestlemania 19, then i kind of fell off the Wrestle train in 2004 - for 10 FREAKIN YEARS, but now back into it again and really enjoying it
I am a 90 baby but I didn't start watching wrestling until 2009. So I missed all of the rocks career but I grew up hearing my classmates talk about the rock. I personally didn't get to see him til the feud with Cena, punk, and awesome truth
Really cool idea for a video and I'm new to the channel content. I'll be looking around for more of you santi :) I think in general more personality and fun is on display when people play heels
Heel Bobby was one of the best people on the roster in 2020-2021. He was brutal and strong in the ring as a heel and putting people in the hurt lock was great. The almighty era was great
Hot take, WWE knows exactly what they're doing with Andrade and are just building to a heel turn. Hopefully he gets a faction, but 100% he's probably getting paired with Charlotte
Just got home after finishing my 4th day in a row working 12ht EMT ambulance shift. I sit down and get some snacks, my edible kicks in and I get an hour long Santi upload. What a treat. Also, time to oil up
Anyone remember the heel run Drew went on in 2019 with Dolph Ziggler? No? Just me? ok. (edit: oh btw they were Raw tag champions. I bet you also forgot about that too)
This version of drew feels like the most genuine version of drew that we have ever gotten imo it’s “heel” but at the same time it’s baby face I feel like this is the most over he had ever been even being the baby face in 2020

What Santi Zap talking about? Lashley had a great face run in 2005-2007. Lashley was a heel during the hurt business because he attacked the baby faces.
I agree with Conman on Jey His face work outweighs his heel work His arc of being the right hand man of The Bloodline all lead to Jey being the first man to pin Roman in four years You just can’t ignore that he pinned THE GUY and how behind Jey and his brother the crowd were
8:40 Nah, you guys missed it. Bayley turned heel when she smashed her hug buddies with a golf club, and one evident sign that she was gonna turn heel was... her haircut. Short hair instead of the usual ponytail? I knew something was up. 19:38 In my opinion, Cody should turn heel the moment he loses his title to AJ Styles. I want to see a Homelander kinda Cody, he can cook that. 23:40 Give Drew some time, the feud with CM Punk has just started. His promos will get even better. 48:07 Tribal Chief >>>> Big Dog any day of the fucking century, but Roman turning babyface to save Paul Heyman and go against Solo Sikoa's putsch on the Bloodline? Sign me the fuck in, I'm all for it.
@@ralphmarbler27you're insane and delusional to think Cody will turn heel for long time soon. The reason he became WWE no.1 was because he is no.1 babyface and his character is just so much about positivity and children loving guy just like cena and Bianca that's why they never turn heel as top guys in business. Even Daniel Bryan turned heel after 2018 when his time was literally over and his heel run was to push others aka Kofi Kingston. Only face guys who were no.1 heel in the business were triple h and currently roman reigns because their face runs fails and their heels run made them into hof superstars. The day WWE turns Cody heel soon in 2024 or 25 like you said that's day he won't be top guy again and he would be working towards to put others top faces over even if he wins title. Cody Rhodes will turns heel once he accomplish everything and new guys or generation will carry forward WWE.
Lol my mulberries are starting to turn and these damn birds are eating them so my smoking/after work chill spot is directly under the patch so i can shake the branches and yell "you damn kids get out of my yard!" 😂
Yeah, I could see Cody turning heel many, many years from now when all his young fans are grown up. I could see it being a Hogan and Macho type of situation at Bash at the Beach '96 situation.
My favourite version of Finn Bálor was when he returned to NXT. My god that was an amazing run and the guy that should've came back from injury and win the Universal Title that for some reason Vince never gave back. But I do love both babyface Finn and heel Finn. And the soft spot for the Demon is unfathomable I just love the Demon
I'm fine with Randy as either babyface or heel. All I want is to see him punt one of the bloodline 1 more time. Like fatu not falling down to the rko and he just fking goes for the punt
I like this accept fin ballor as you’ve brought up other industries in previous people’s run heel fin creating the bullet club is better than the nxt run by far
i'm surprised that y'all didn't mention the architect Rollins in 2015 after u mentioned the shield implosion considering it was the best version of Seth Rollins not only as a heel but his best version outta all his characters
I feel the reason some people believe Rock is better as heel is because they saw him from 2002/2003 onwards....i guess its the times. I honestly feel if people watched more of Rock's work in late 1999 and throughout 2000 (maybe a bit of 2001) people would have a much more appreciation for his babyface work.....His promos in 2000 in particular were so brilliant, and he was so over with the crowd, you just had to be there. I honestly believed he'd never be a heel again at that point.....so its interesting how people like his heel work better these days.......
When you guys got to the new day all I could think about was the promo rock cut on them I don’t remember it word for word but what I do remember is rock saying something along the lines of “y’all are wearing llama p3nis’s on your head” 😂 and Xavier yelling WHAT!? In the funniest way 💀
Heel or not, I always found myself cheering for Jey. I think people missed his underlying story within The Bloodline storyline. The underdog story. If people saw past what we were use to see him doing, they may see that he's more than merch & a catch phrase. He's run it with the best of them. Win or lose he's put on some top tier matches. I think that his solo run had bad timing. I hope that he doesn't go back to Jimmy & The Bloodline in a hurry. I think they could do more with him vs Jimmy before they get inserted back into The Bloodline narrative. I guess it's the fan in me that wants them to stay solo.🤷♀️ There's nothing more they need to accomplish as a tag team. In my opinion.
tweener should of been in option in this video bc theres a few people i think are better when they can act heel and face at the same time depending on the program kinda like the miz or KO who i think are faces at times that also do heel like promos and i think theyre good examples of possible wrestlers that are good tweeners
We actually already seen how heel Cody can look like remember the end of clash at the castle match ,that fucking homelander type heel I really want to happen on Cody.
Just going off the thumbnail cause I'm only like 30secs into the vid but randy is a better heel but he is one of those characters that could play both roles and it really depends on what he is doing
19:50 Even though, to us, it might seem sad that Cody would never turn heel but when you think about it, would the kid you really want to see John Cena turn heel? I as a kid, who believed all the kayfabe, would have been devastated to see the role model figure in John Cena going to the dark side. It would have shattered that little kid's heart and would have made this world less trutable a little too early.
cm punk is very polarising. and he's reached that level of the rock that is doesn't matter if he's heel or babyface he's gonna get a lot of boos and a lot of cheers. he's just himself now he's not the character. he has become cm punk in real life not phil anymore
The problem with cm punk is he was not the real star of any particular era.thats the thing.he may be liked by fans.his work ethic was excellent.but star value and booking wise he was underwhelmed.him taking break also doesn't help.he never main evented mania.

HHH, HBK, Stone Cold, Trish, Lita, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Bautista, Goldberg (I know only one heel run and it sucked, but I wish they’d tried it again at some point as I could have seen it working later if it had been booked better), Sting, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and many others.
Time for Santi to oil up🙏
Oil up Santi
The Thing About AJ Styles Is That AJ Was Always Loved By The People From The Start Because Of His Inspiring Success Story He Came From A Very Poor Background But With Sheer Hardwork AJ Carved His Own Legacy In Pro-Wrestling, The Man Who Once Had Nothing Is Now Successful In Both His Personal And Professional Life.
While The Best Work AJ Styles Has Done Was As A Bad Guy, Be It In The NWA-TNA Days As A Arrogant Young Guy, His Last Days In TNA As The Lone Wolf, The Bullet Club AJ Styles At NJPW, The 2016 The Champ That Runs The Camp AJ Styles, 2019-20 The OC AJ Who Gave The Undertaker His Last Match And Now The 2024 Veteran AJ Styles.
Chad Gable is the modern version of Kurt Angle in not only being an olympic style wrestler
But also having his heel work excel his babyface work
W conman for mentioning the oil up comments santis gonna do it sooner than later
_An hour???_ Bros we eating well tonight hooooly
You guys just make me feel so OLD when you talk about wrestling ! I was fan from the beginning of the attitude era - literally Wrestlemania 13 and specifically Hart vs Austin was what got me hooked, i even managed to see an ECW show at the ECW arena, and was present at Wrestlemania 19, then i kind of fell off the Wrestle train in 2004 - for 10 FREAKIN YEARS, but now back into it again and really enjoying it
Conman vs Santi oiled up HELL IN A CELL🔥🔥🔥
Charllote as a heel is just 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎
she is very bland tho. the same " I am the queeeeen" promo every week
I am a 90 baby but I didn't start watching wrestling until 2009. So I missed all of the rocks career but I grew up hearing my classmates talk about the rock. I personally didn't get to see him til the feud with Cena, punk, and awesome truth
Dat 81 of asking Santi to eat a Big Mac, Large Fries, and coke on video
Hot take- I'd like to see a babyface logan pual
Day 9 of asking santi to do a video only showing his chair
An hour of Santi this is gonna be a generational edge
You need to oil up!
Really cool idea for a video and I'm new to the channel content. I'll be looking around for more of you santi :) I think in general more personality and fun is on display when people play heels
With recency bias, this might be one of the best episodes you’ve ever made. You should do a tier list.
Heel Bobby was one of the best people on the roster in 2020-2021. He was brutal and strong in the ring as a heel and putting people in the hurt lock was great. The almighty era was great
Why does everyone forget about Drew McIntyre’s heel run from 2018 with Dolph Ziggler and into 2019 on his own also being with Shane McMahon
Seriously like how do people remember him being called the Scottish psychopath but don't remember he was a heel and when it happened
Hot take, WWE knows exactly what they're doing with Andrade and are just building to a heel turn. Hopefully he gets a faction, but 100% he's probably getting paired with Charlotte
W collab W video
Hello JTGily! I didn't know you watch wrestling! W! GG!
I bet you also forgot about that too)
This version of drew feels like the most genuine version of drew that we have ever gotten imo it’s “heel” but at the same time it’s baby face I feel like this is the most over he had ever been even being the baby face in 2020
RING OF HONOR VERSION OF CODY RHODES WAS GREAT 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
the collab we all needed 🙏🙏
What Santi Zap talking about? Lashley had a great face run in 2005-2007. Lashley was a heel during the hurt business because he attacked the baby faces.
I agree with Conman on Jey
His face work outweighs his heel work
His arc of being the right hand man of The Bloodline all lead to Jey being the first man to pin Roman in four years
You just can’t ignore that he pinned THE GUY and how behind Jey and his brother the crowd were
Santi looks like he's been held at gunpoint. 29:27
1 hour long video is amazing
I started a movement 1:27
Cody : " Yeah sure you can take my title, and I'll lose everything... but then, I'll have nothing to lose"
funny you think Cody losing to aj lmaoooo
@@Dre384
*If* that happens. But of course the plot will make Cody retain for sure.
Here before the daily person telling Santi to oil up ✋
Lol my mulberries are starting to turn and these damn birds are eating them so my smoking/after work chill spot is directly under the patch so i can shake the branches and yell "you damn kids get out of my yard!" 😂
After this it’s gonna suck to go back to sancho😞
Sancho is much funnier and better than conman
@@davidceron3551 Sancho is that you
Since Santi gets bigger and bigger on Wrestling youtube there are feats after feats
So great
Yeah, I could see Cody turning heel many, many years from now when all his young fans are grown up.
Day 60 of asking you to rank every superstar based off of pure in ring ability
Also Triple H was the one who created Bayley Babyface in NXT and Vince Mcmahon was the one who created Bayley Heel.
I'm fine with Randy as either babyface or heel. All I want is to see him punt one of the bloodline 1 more time. Like fatu not falling down to the rko and he just fking goes for the punt
Yesterday was my first time being in your twitch chat and all I have to say is your chat is a 10/10 best chat on twitch
41:36 I AM HERE FOR THE RANDY ORTON GLAZE-A-THON🐐🐍
I like this accept fin ballor as you’ve brought up other industries in previous people’s run heel fin creating the bullet club is better than the nxt run by far
Day 26 of top 10 high flyers of all tome
day 41 of asking for " top 10 best in ring performers currently "
Gable doing shorty G is as great as Dustin Rhodes doing golddust. Underrated G.O.A.T compeditor
i'm surprised that y'all didn't mention the architect Rollins in 2015 after u mentioned the shield implosion considering it was the best version of Seth Rollins not only as a heel but his best version outta all his characters
I honestly believed he'd never be a heel again at that point.....so its interesting how people like his heel work better these days.......
need that kairi baby face run asap
An underrated heel run for the new day was when they invaded raw in 2017
When you guys got to the new day all I could think about was the promo rock cut on them I don’t remember it word for word but what I do remember is rock saying something along the lines of “y’all are wearing llama p3nis’s on your head” 😂 and Xavier yelling WHAT!?
In my opinion.
tweener should of been in option in this video bc theres a few people i think are better when they can act heel and face at the same time depending on the program kinda like the miz or KO who i think are faces at times that also do heel like promos and i think theyre good examples of possible wrestlers that are good tweeners
if we get you to 500k subs before the year ends you better oil up for a stream
this is the collab I've been waiting for
Day 45 of asking Santi to do a front row vlog at a wwe event
Day 86 of asking for santi's top 10 tag teams of all time
ginger santi and santi
Why everybody forget how good was McIntyre as a heel when he’s called up to the main roster in 2018 to feud with the Shield?
OIL UP OR GET RATIOED
“No one boos legends anymore” did we forgot the rock this year
This began where it ends WITH YOU OILING UP SANTI
I thought it would be every wrestler
Day 10 of asking Santi that he records an Video with the mask That Dom Dom wear at wrestlemania
Santizap es un Santo
cm punk is very polarising. and he's reached that level of the rock that is doesn't matter if he's heel or babyface he's gonna get a lot of boos and a lot of cheers. he's just himself now he's not the character. he has become cm punk in real life not phil anymore
The problem with cm punk is he was not the real star of any particular era.thats the thing.he may be liked by fans.his work ethic was excellent.but star value and booking wise he was underwhelmed.him taking break also doesn't help.he never main evented mania.
Day 37 asking Santi rank all of the Wrestlemania main
event entrance.
So acknowledging me Santi
I am slowly becoming a heel in the comment section
