In the settings you can configure a personalised instrument display. Amongst the configurable options is the Trip Computer which does include a battery % state of charge.

That's not a car review, that's stand up comedy episode. The "documentary Alo alo" cracked me up!
So good. And I just binged 5 episodes ...

Ecotricity NZ really should be looking into installing solar canopies into outdoor Kiwi carparking & not just at the charging points either, but across the entire thing. So much potential for clean green renewable ⚡ generation right across Aotearoa without having to plaster the countryside with large industrial infrastructure. Carparking & outdoor storage landowners can get a little bit more income from their investment & the world gets just that little bit closer to getting rid of fossil fuel generated energy supply.
Making good (efficient) use of the (preexisting) built environment is surely logical & comes without the extra material requirements, costs & energy losses of long transmission lines by generating ⚡ at or near point of consumption.

Proximity unlocking? Looks more like you were trying to do something mildly obscene Gavin. 😅🤭

I love the look of the car but I Test drove one of these Peugeot e208 and I definitely didn't like the manual seats which all Peugeot cars seem to have and I found the motor sounded a bit like a jet plane taking off, it wasn't quiet enough for me for an electric car. Apart from that it was a nice sporty looking car.

Excellent and fair review. Heads up, in NZ the app doesn't currently have the remote charge facility. In fact since July none of our e208s come with the telemetry box, so no SIM, so no connectivity to the European- based server. Hence no fully functioning app here. :(

Why did you compare the weight of this small car to that of a Subaru Legacy and Tesla model 3? lol

It's a nice car, but doesn't tick enough boxes.
It's more expensive, slower, smaller and shorter ranged than the BYD Atto 3.
It's nowhere near as funky, fast or fun as a Mini, or the (sadly) discontinued BMW i3.
All a bit nothing, really. Sell it at $45k, and now we're talking.

Umm nice looking car 👌 But Allo Allo was not a “French documentary” but an “English comedy about the French resistance” 👍😂🤓

The guy at the Peugeot dealership was trying to sell me on this being better than a Tesla because they have parts available when you crash. Yeah that's because you just did a shitty conversion of the petrol version and made it electric. He also tried to say most cars don't need RWD as it's too complex 🤣
