Aww, I use to work with your grandmother at WDHB. I forgot her name, however, I never forget her help and kindness. Oh, yes, love the way you review the Tesla. One day I may purchase one.

I have just watched your video and it was so funny as well as instructive! I have ordered a Model 3 Long Range and can't wait to get it! Keep up the good work.

Hi, thank you for making the video. So satisfying to watch Tesla videos. Need more from NZ

Also NZ has competitively priced electricity, and uncompetitively priced fossil fuels. As well as our electricity generation being over 80% renewable. The electric car revolution is going to be a massive boon to our economy.

Very entertaining. Ur grandmother was adorable. Im a kiwi living in orange county in southern california. Great to see teslas making a splash (reference to nz weather) in nz. Got orders in for MYP and a MYLR. Everyones getting them over here. Do u have performance variants there yet? If u like base models wait till u drive LR and P. I think you’ll love those. To the folks in nz, these really are worth the wait.

The Tesla model 3 RWD you test can maximum take 170KW DC, the long range or performance can take ~240KW

Loved the video! It might be worth turning down the saturation and contrast on your camera, video was quite harsh looking 😊

24:33 Fitting different tyres, e.g. Cross Climate 2, makes a big difference to comfort. Presumably you had the 18" aero wheels fitted (the softest OEM spec vs the 19s and 20s)? I believe the suspension on the latest ones is "reworked" to be a little more comfortable. Our 2020 model with CC2 tyres is great.

4:32, if it does crash you will have a "controlled deployment" airbag appear to protect your head. The latest ones even have a bag deployed between the two front seats. ;)

Good that you're positive, but some more research and experience with the car will show you so much more about how completely different this is from any other vehicle

Nice review with a bit of local humour. You may find the ride a little smoother on the 18” wheels rather than the 19”s you have (19s look better tho’).
Now the Y is on the scene it would be interesting to compare.
I have no problem with you spruiking EVNex chargers. Being an NZ product there are no video reviews of it. Any chance you could do one?

6:24 Autopilot comes as standard. FSD just adds on top of it, i.e. the things you mentioned like lane change and auto-stop for lights/signs.

There are three levels of ADAS:
Autopilot is standard with all Teslas and gives cruise control and lane keeping on motorways.
Enhanced Autopilot is an extra paid option that has Navigate that gives auto motorway entrance and exit, auto lane changing, auto parking and summon.
Full Self Driving gives fully automatic driving anywhere including city streets with traffic light recognition and is in Beta atm.
