There's something about the Challenger that draws me to it far more than the Mustang or Camaro. It looks so much more like the original so to me it makes the car that much more special. These things are the perfect cruising cars. It's just an enjoyable car to drive slowly. But it's also happy to rev the redline through every gear. Mustangs and Camaros just aren't fun to drive slow in my opinion. They just don't feel fun or special unless you are pushing it. I also love how ridiculously comfortable they are on the inside. They have a genuinely usable back seat and massive trunk as well. They're perfect for road trips and the car practically begs you to go on one. People tend to hate on the Challenger because it just can't compete with the performance of the Mustang or Camaro. But those people are missing the point and are missing out on what the car has to offer.
+PIchillin456 Well said! I have 2 Challengers now! I had a 1972 Chevelle as my first car for 19 years. I have returned to the "big boy car" world.

The Challenger is unique. At this point the Mustang has lost its identity and is a typical quick car, and the Camaro is just a nice quick car. There's nothing like a Challenger out there, I dont think.
I just traded in my 2010 Camaro 2ss for a 2011 Challenger rt classic. Glad i did. I love it
I watched this video years ago then when i bought my Challenger 3 years ago i realized this is the exact car i bought. Pretty cool. The skull badge on the front and blacked out taillight panel gave it away. Bought it from it’s second owner in Gibsons, B.C. Has a few upgrades now 👍🏼

Not being a jerk, but no it doesn't come with "everything that comes on the SRT except the engine", & no it doesn't "come with SRT suspension"..good review though. Keep up the good work
I used to get really annoyed by all the backwoods country folk (I live in Virginia) who would always proclaim "There's no replacement for displacementfjsasgfhweaorufi" but after driving a hemi V8 by god they might be onto something...
GhenghisKhangai it's true. Boost isn't a replacement because a turbocharged 5.7 is still better than a turbocharged 2.0
He said 340HP on the Dyno. He also said he thought it had a tune and exhaust. This car should be 344HP at the wheels stock. I would guess it does not have a tune.
Good review! I know the SRT line is the fastest, most features, etc but My RT Plus Shaker 6 speed is smiles per mile. Plus, you can mod it to be insane...
just bought the exact same car , and oh boy it's a blast !!!
s0ccer96 it's been a year now and nothing but oil change . Car had 27k miles on it when bought now at 40k . I live in canada and drive it all year around and all conditions from snow storms to deep freezing temperature . only problem is somtimes the windows thend to freeze shut and wont go down and doors become hard to open .
Got a cai , mid muffler delete and hurst short shifter and next will be a tuner . Gotta love that 3.92 lsd rear axle for those sweet burnouts ;)

@@cagirard81 With the 6 speed the wheel hop is HORRIBLE! One of the biggest complaints when I had this car.

I miss my 2012 SRT....funny enough I was getting between 8-9 litres per 100kms. vs the 2014 Ford Fusion 1.5 ecoboost which is at 11-12....engine too small for the car..
BMan100 people dont seem to understand that ! Little engines and more geared transmission dont mean better mpg
BornToBeFamed yuuuup.. we don't live on a "flat piece of land" like they do when they test MPG here (in canada they use a rolling road sort of set up)

That's great I'm also a fellow Canadian and I picked up a 2016 Challenger about 2 months ago and I love it I've only driven it a little bit though because I do not want to winter drive the car let me know if you have any issues

Why do people say it was dynod at 340 something when the factory says they are all 375 hp
Had this exact same car for a few years. Beautiful car, that sounded and drove great. Wheel hop, however, was HORRIBLE with the 6-speed. More of a cruiser than anything.
They normally get 375 hp from factory so ether they messed up on the dyno or it has a bad tune
I believe they're closer to about 390 horsepower they're only Dyno. 5100 RPM if you put it to 55 it would probably be better, that being said the RT should at least have 400 horsepower by now it's unfortunate they did not upgrade this

It does !!! Its on the floor where it belongs..All real cars and old classics have them on the floor....Oddball turds have them on the console ...The Emergency brake is furthest left on the floor of the car...Push it down with your foot when you park,not an eyesore and inconvenient place like by the shifter,odd near the shifter ..
I love this sound better than a G35 I like the sound of a VQ I don't get me wrong but this is better I can't wait to buy one of these I have the 2006 300 SRT8 I just want to drive a manual Challenger

Awesome review. I have the same car but in color Torred red, the hemi always puts smiles everywhere I go.

Any idea as to what brand exhaust he changed to?...kinda sounds like maybe the corsa extreme...well anyway it sounds good! I'm thinking about changing mine out BTW.
I think you are right, sounds pretty much like a corsa :)
You should figure out some way to keep the cockpit camera steady so your co-producer doesn't have to struggle to keep it steady...maybe some kind of mount? I dunno how Matt Farah has his good (non-GoPro) camera set up..
