    My chiropractor also recommends drinking an electrolyte beverage before and after a epson salt soak as it van be dehydrating especially if you have issues with orthostatic hypotension or low blood pressure. Enjoy your soak.

    I love taking a magnesium sulfate + bakinging soda baths. But its expensive as i have a huge bath tub so i have to put an entire big box (bout 4 cups) of baking soda and about 3 cups epsom salt. Which equals about $7 per bath give or take but they do help a lot

      Mix it up in a bowl or whatever and use your wash cloth to spread it on your body. Then take a shower with either filtered water or well water .
      Don't use tap water on your skin it straps all the oil out .Also never use hot water because it's bad for your skin and if you have a shower head filter the hot water may cause the contaminants to release on to your precious body lol

      @@coolroy4300what are you talking about? He and everyone else says take a hot bath with baking soda, Epsom salt and vitamin c powder (to neutralize the chlorine). Which is what I do. After I'm done I stand up and rinse it off. It's impossible to take a shower using "filtered water" unless your some kind of millionaire or billionaire. Sometimes I'll use magnesium chloride but that's super expensive and I have a huge bath tub. Anyways my baking soda, Epsom salt and vitamin c baths seem to work pretty good. Are you saying not to rinse off after the bath??

    Most municipal water is limed to alkaline it to prevent pipe corrosion. It often already has a pH of 9. Uncertain the baking soda is necessary. I have noticable eye mucus after an Epsom salt bath. I suppose the magnesium boost is being used to eliminate toxins but am uncertain.

    • @DrRussellJaffe

      Municipal water alkalinity varies from place to place and of course individual preferences very but many have benefitted from the Epsom salt and baking soda bath in the manner we recommend.

    1:25 Distillations is the process of water evaporating and leaving impurities behind. Salts (all of them) and bicarbonate (Baking Soda) don’t carry with steam; so….
    Otherwise, soaking checks out, and has provided evidence to show Baking Soda adds permeability of the skin allowing additional absorption of Mg compared to without.

      Mg is not absorbed through the skin.

    • @KyleMcCall-w2o
      @KyleMcCall-w2o 10 месяцев назад

      @@FrankGutowski-ls8jt Mg can be absorbed through the skin when ionized. Magnesium Sulfate promotes the Mg to become a cation (2+), and our negatively charged Mg receptors (found at sweat gland abs hair follicle sites) attract the positively charged Mg2+. Same when using “Pure Mg” (which is really Magnesium Chloride or MgCl2). PPM/mL increased by over 100 in subjects soaking in a bath liver than 20 mins, but ZERO absorption has ever been observed by means of using Mg lotion.
      Tons of research on this, and specific Organic Chemistry parameters prove Mg can be absorbed through the skin when ionized Magnesium is present in water or pure Mg oil, but not lotion.

      We don’t routinely recommend hydrogen peroxide as it can be quite harsh to the skin. Epsom salts and Baking soda.

      @FrankGutowski-ls8jt Год назад +4

      Chemical processing is in general actually very very good for you!

    • @justpeople777
      @justpeople777 Год назад +5

      It's perfectly safe. There are very few therapeutics one would be able to use without some type of chemical extraction. As long as the end result is pure and without filler ingredients or toxic byproducts. Their baking soda is pure.

      Natural elements and foods almost NEVER get clinical studies. Clinical studies are generally reserved for expensive drugs.
      For example, you would be hard-pressed to find a clinical study on lemon juice. We all know that lemon juice has many benefits, but who would profit from a clinical study on lemons? No one would profit, so the study will never take place.
