I just took my magnesium pill I take before going to bed. After two weeks my sleep has improved. I am also eating macadamia nuts since our service dog had to be put to sleep thanks in part to shoddy veterinarians at Banfield.
I was recommended by my doctor to take epsom salt baths, also just wondering if adding to much epsom salt is bad and how much to add to an american standard size bathtub.
Thank you for watching and commenting! Your body can only absorb so much of the elements - think of it as saturation point. Unfortunately, if you absorb too much of the elements, you could end up with loose bowel syndrome. Regarding the amount, follow the instructions on the back for optimum results.
What about an epson salt shower, wet the body, rubbing the paste under feet and working all the way up to the neck and even rub ing in the face and once all covered rinsing it off. Will that work? Give your opinion. Thanks
@@CoachRobbBeams Nonsense. Transdermal propagation of Epsom salt is unproven scientifically. Google Pain Science and on that site search epson salts. The article will disabuse you of your misconceptions.
@@DBASSDAN It is surprising what goes through the skin. Lots of things are administered through the skin from lidocaine patches to compounded progesterone and plenty more.
Thank you for watching! The source of your pain has to be identified first: soft tissue, circulation or structural. I would start with manual massage, then move to contrast therapy and then evaluate how your pain levels fluctuate (or even become eliminated). Let me know what you try and how your body responds to each!
Ironically yes, but not in a good way. If you absorb too much, it can create irritable bowels, which can lead to dehydration. We have our clients keep the Epsom salt baths to 15-20 minutes (based on body size) to keep this from happening. However, if you are constipated, it would certainly help getting things moving. Thank you for watching and let me know if you have any other questions.
I sleep like a baby after an epsom salt bath. I get in a warm bath, stretch, and then have my wife walk and rub on my back. It's a homerun each time!
Good stuff for sure!
