    The basin you can get for Walmart (Homedics) is around a gallon up to the maximum line. I have that cheap Homedics basin and my formula is 1 cup of Epsom salt and 30 drops of tea tree oil. I used this basin and formula to cure a case of pitted keratolysis that I had for the prior 10 years, which was highly stanky. You can do foot baths for softness for beauty, whatever, I'm doing it for cleanliness. If you have stinky feet, you need to foot bathe!

    Like a hot tube, set to 100 degrees F, when turn turned up to 102 degrees F, it feels extra hot and uncomfortable. Remember, 98.6 degrees F is normal body temp and high temperatures will always flow from an area of high energy to areas of low temperature. So, it heats the feet & body first for a long time, as the water is a good conductor and cools to the air around it, even if A/C or Heat is set to 78-68 degrees F. It enters the feet first, opens the blood vessels that allows warmer than normal blood to flow up into the torso. It cools the the air around it but that takes time depending on the temp, volume and external air temp contact on how fast it cools. 100 degrees F is best overall contact. As it cools over ten - 15 minutes, it begins to feel to cold. That is your sign it is time to stop. Don't forget to start without a towel to step on. Tile is slick when wet, so avoid accidents. Use a nylon scuff pad to clean heels and feet from dead skin cells. You shed 100,000 cells per hour. This is how blood hounds track people even in a slight breeze. Otherwise they are funneled down onto our feet and gather. This is the loose crusty stuff found on you feet. A gentle rubbing will get rid of them. DK, ASE master tech since 78, retired.

    I doubt that you can get too much Epsom salts in a foot bath or bath tub. Simply because when you float in sensory deprivation tank there is approx 1/2 ton of Epsom salts dissolved in the tub. So much that you can’t sink. Like the Dead Sea salty. My skin is always silky smooth after N hour soak in such a tub. The temperature is just warm enough to maintain body temperature.

    ... a bottle of water is not a measurement since they come in several sizes. a basin of water is not a measurement either for the same reason. If epsom to water proportions is important than so should those measurements, no? Why not use cups of epsom per gallon of water as a measurement?

    I really need some advice here. I have had some Varicose vein treatments lately for my legs, calf's.
    I noticed one day a big blister on my heel, below the ankle part of the heel. Then a week later I got a long / are several blisters on the outside part of my heel below the ankle. They are clear and filled with a clear liquid. Then last night I got a sharp pain like a needle sticking in my foot and it was a big blister below my ankle. They all have a clear liquid, but after popping, they seem to drain a clearish blood and water-type liquid. What is going on here, I am scared.

      John, Go see your doctor. Whenever you have procedures done on your body, always ask the doctor or nurse, what to expect this way you will be less stressed when you see post procedure reactions. Also ask what to do, and how to care for the site/wound. Write it down. Often they don't tell you unless you ask. Feel better, good health and healing to you

      Homeopathy is pseudoscience. There is no medical ingredient in the ‘medicine’

    • @rickybobby5153
      @rickybobby5153 Год назад

      Homeopathic ‘medicine’ is made by taking a substance and mixing it into water and then taking that solution and diluting half of it into water and then taking that diluted solution and diluting half of it into even more water.
      So on and so forth until you have a ‘solution’ that doesn’t even contain a single atom of the original substance.
      Homeopaths believe that the water ‘retains a memory’ of the substance, so it doesn’t actually need to be present. In other words all homeopathic medicine is literally just water. It’s snake oil. It’s a lie.
      You can do this yourself at home and I’ve done it with arsenic just to show people that it’s a lie. All homeopathy is, is a substance diluted so much so as that there isn’t a single atom of the substance in the final product
      Don’t put your life in the hands of snake oil salesmen

    Dr. Kim-we need some CLARIFICATION HERE! Too much causes pain and too little is no good but then “About half cup to this much water” and “a tsp to a bottle of water?” Several people have asked now and I don’t see any response from you. If you want to grow your channel-and I had learned a lot up until this video-you’ll have to do a little better than telling us how important something is and then not informing us how to measure this most important ingredient. (I don’t know many people who use circular hand gestures to measure VOLUME?

      Baking soda neutralizes acid!
      Do two separate foot baths; vinegar (ratio is 1 part vinegar w/ 2 parts warm water). Thoroughly dry feet. Follow-up with a baking soda bath. Vinegar and baking soda each play important, beneficial roles, but, do not combine them! In addition, epsom salt combined with tea tree oil (foot bath) is also very beneficial.
